Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe is also good, making it possible for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.There is a washing machine and dryer, and it is comfortable for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off is available at Shinano Matsukawa Station and Meisha Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers are available for ¥2,000 to ¥8,000 (return) within 2 hours one-way.For more than 5 people, please consult in advance to accommodate car rental. We only welcome one group of guests per day. Part of the building is the host couple's room, so the entire building is not rented out. However, the privacy of the area where you are staying is fully guaranteed. The surrounding area is very quiet, dotted with rice fields and houses, and in the morning you can hear birds singing. There are many tourist spots nearby, such as farmers' markets, hot springs, and cycling roads, so we recommend staying for a few nights and exploring. You can also go on a day trip to Kamikochi and Hakuba. The surrounding area is a quiet residential area, so please refrain from chatting loudly outside. Smoking is prohibited both inside the building and on the premises. Thank you for your cooperation. You can park up to two standard cars in the car park. Bicycle rental (up to 3 bikes) is also available. If you are coming by train, the nearest station is Toyoshina Station on the JR Oito Line. From there, it is a 15-minute taxi ride, costing around 2,000 yen. Please note that we do not provide a pick-up service. 　 Nagano Prefecture introduced an accommodation tax on 1 June 2026. An accommodation tax of 200 yen per person per night will be charged, and from 1 June 2029, it will be 300 yen.

We moved to this area from Tokyo because this area is not commercialized, but intact from urbanization. This house used to be a ski ryokan, and we renovated it by ourselves with abandoned and local materials to maintain nice and old Japanese architectural taste.
