Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino and Hakuba and Kamikochi, you can stay comfortably from one night to consecutive nights. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe is also good, making it possible for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.There is a washing machine and dryer, and it is comfortable for consecutive nights. You can also come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off is available at Shinano Matsukawa Station and Meisha Station.Other transfers and sightseeing transfers are available for ¥2,000 to ¥8,000 (return) within 2 hours one-way.For more than 5 people, please consult in advance to accommodate car rental. Gofu, a location limited to one group per day with a beautiful view of the Northern Alps and countryside

We only welcome one group of guests per day. Part of the building is the host couple's room, so the entire building is not rented out. However, the privacy of the area where you are staying is fully guaranteed. The surrounding area is very quiet, dotted with rice fields and houses, and in the morning you can hear birds singing. There are many tourist spots nearby, such as farmers' markets, hot springs, and cycling roads, so we recommend staying for a few nights and exploring. You can also go on a day trip to Kamikochi and Hakuba. The surrounding area is a quiet residential area, so please refrain from chatting loudly outside. Smoking is prohibited both inside the building and on the premises. Thank you for your cooperation. You can park up to two standard cars in the car park. Bicycle rental (up to 3 bikes) is also available. If you are coming by train, the nearest station is Toyoshina Station on the JR Oito Line. From there, it is a 15-minute taxi ride, costing around 2,000 yen. Please note that we do not provide a pick-up service. 　 Nagano Prefecture introduced an accommodation tax on 1 June 2026. An accommodation tax of 200 yen per person per night will be charged, and from 1 June 2029, it will be 300 yen.

This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. This house is located right below Japanese alps, where you can enjoy outdoor in mountains, rivers and lakes throughout four seasons. We moved to this area from Tokyo because this area is not commercialized, but intact from urbanization. So if you are looking for something different than usual sightseeing, here could be the place to visit. This house used to be a ski ryokan, and we renovated it by ourselves with abandoned and local materials to maintain nice and old Japanese architectural taste.
