Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Obergiesing-Fasangarten

We recently stayed at Wolfgang and Andrea’s loft while visiting Munich from the US with my wife and our three kids, and I can’t say enough great things about our experience. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The loft was exactly as described—beautiful, peaceful, and spotlessly clean. It had a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Wolfgang personally greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the space, which was a wonderful touch. They had even stocked the fridge with sparkling water and wine, and left snacks for the kids—such thoughtful hospitality! Transportation was a breeze. We had easy access to everything we wanted to do in the city, which made exploring Munich with a family smooth and stress-free. The host’s communication was excellent—prompt, clear, and friendly. Their instructions were incredibly helpful and detailed, showing just how much care they put into making sure guests have an outstanding experience. They are definitely 5-Star!

Christy does everything to welcome her guests. There were drinks, sweets, also oil, vinegar, tea, coffee. I was very happy to find an extra heater because it was still cold. The accommodation is well located, parks nearby, well served by public transport, supermarkets nearby. Thanks for every. Recommended.

Quiet location and comfortable apartment.

Very close to many of Munich's world-class attractions and museums, this studio is a perfect home base to see the best Munich has to offer and get some needed respite after a long, fulfilling day out on the town. Clean, and well-kept space, with a full kitchen. You'll feel local and you will be, located in a quiet neighborhood just distant enough from the tourists to afford peace, with local grocery stores, fuel stations, and restaurants close by, including a very good Italian restaurant that is a short walk outside. Along those lines, you'll find several big wide open green spaces near the apartment and tree-lined river and stream walks. Great journeys after a morning coffee, and to give you a charge to start your day. All and all, right on key.

This was a well maintained apartment with plenty of room. The location was convenient to transportation and had some restaurants very close by. The only drawbacks with our stay was it was warm outside so needed the windows open for airflow. Unfortunately, in the evenings a regular scent of someone smoking weed wafting through. Also the apt is right above some restaurants, so with the windows open was quite loud on the weekend until 2am. When the temp was cooler the issues were small when able to close the windows. Would recommend and stay again during cooler months.

Our family just spent a week in Chris’s home while visiting Munich and Bavaria. It was the perfect home base for taking the train into Munich (station is a 2-minute walk down the street), as well as day trips we took to drive to Fussen, Berchtesgaden, and Salzburg. The home was beautifully decorated and absolutely spotless. Many extra amenities and items were provided, we felt right at home! Chris was available to meet us in person but we opted to do a later check in to tour Dachau on our way, so he sent me very detailed videos and instructions on how to get the key from the lockbox and how to work the cooktop, lights, instructions for recycling etc. We loved the restaurant recommendations Chris gave and ate at both the local German restaurant/biergarten and Italian restaurant twice each. Both a quick (5 minutes or less) walk from the house. The house worked perfectly for our family of 5 - plenty of room to spread out and room for more. The extra half bath was nice to have as well!

A lovely place to stay. We loved spending time on the patio and looking out at the beautiful view. Lots of space to relax in. All the bedrooms are stunning and spacious. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Munich.

Although our recent trip to Bavaria included castles, amazing cuisine and incredible sights, one of our fondest and most special memories will forever be meeting Hubertus and Jennifer. You will not find two more caring, more thoughtful hosts and our stay at their cottage was absolutely wonderful. The love and warmth they put into their cottage is self evident and reflects in almost every detail of their home. From the handwritten welcome note and bottle of wine we received on arrival to their recommendations and helpful tips as we navigated the surrounding areas, we felt as though we were staying with old friends and were looked after with such special attention and care. My husband and I feel so grateful to have met them and could not recommend others to book a stay at their cottage strongly enough. Thank you again for everything! It truly was a perfect stay :)

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Munich! The space was spotless, comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to public transportation, great restaurants, and charming neighborhoods. Our host was incredibly kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again the next time we’re in Munich. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed being able to be there for ourselves. The location was simply awesome and offered many opportunities for exploring. We would book again at any time, there is nothing comparable in the area. Simply a gem in every respect!

Ludwig was always readily available and responsive. His home was nice,clean, and very livable. It made for a nice home base to explore Bavaria.

We were very kindly received by Rosalind and her husband. The two were very warm and likeable hosts. The accommodation is in a quiet location and Munich or Starnberg are very easy to reach by train. There were 4 of us and we had plenty of space in the apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped. The staircase to the apartment is relatively steep and narrow, which was not a problem for us, but with children or elderly people, this could be an issue. All in all, the accommodation is a recommendation!

Location, location, location! Close to many museums, restaurants, markets, boutiques, and only a short subway trip to center of Munich. Sarah’s place was perfect for our week stay in Munich! The place was spotless, modern, and well equipped. She took initiative to make our stay even more comfortable for us and our adult daughter. Thank you, Sarah. We would enjoy staying at your home again someday.

This was a great location for me and my family to spend a few days in exploring the surrounding area. Very close to the train station that left on average every 10 minutes, we could get going or get home easily. The apartment itself is HUGE, which was a nice change of pace being in small hotel rooms. I loved relaxing in their deep, clean, soaking tub since it was a bit cold and rainy during our stay. It was kind of the hosts to include a variety of refreshments and snacks for us in the kitchen. Really the only thing I wasn’t totally prepared for was the hike up to the room… It does say that the room is on the second floor (which to me, read that you’d be going up one flight of stairs to reach floor 2…), but in reality it was more like 3 flights which was a bit of an unwelcome surprise after being delayed on our train journey and not getting in until nearly midnight. But we survived! I would definitely stay again, particularly if I was lighter on luggage… :)

Everything great! Very nice house, great decor, very quiet. There is even a bulging bookshelf. Everything was there for cooking, spices, oils, etc. For the welcome, there were pretzels and small snacks as well as chilled drinks. Wifi was good. We will be happy to come back!

Perfect for what I needed. Near the underground and could be in the heart of the city quickly. Apartment had everything I needed. Rosa was always responsive and helpful. Oh, and a really comfy bed!

The space was visually interesting, clean, comfortable, with all the amenities. It was close to restaurants and bakeries for morning pasteries. The old center of Munich is walkable. And the apartment is very close to subways and trains that make it easy to get out of Munich to explore other parts of Bavaria. The neighborhood is full of young families, so it has both a quiet and a homey feel, and is close to parks. Waltraud was responsive to any questions we had, and she was very flexible when we asked to extent our stay by one day. Overall, the apartment was an excellent base for exploring Munich.

We had a great stay! The apartment was exactly as described – modern, stylishly furnished and very clean. We felt like at home from the first moment. We especially liked the beautiful balcony, where you can relax wonderfully. The bathroom is generously sized and very well maintained, with a combination of bathtub and shower – perfect for feeling good. The location is great: shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Great excursion destinations such as Lake Tegernsee, Lake Kochel or Lake Walchen are also easy to reach by car. We will be happy to come back!
