amazing place, couldn't ask for a better location, host and facilities

Our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first time. A home away from home! The cottage is lovely, cosy, and clean with plenty of space as a family of 6 and a dog. Giles was really helpful and we loved all the local recommendations and walks. The location is perfect. Can’t wait to return next year!

The Barn is a marvel. Lovely hosts, excellent little house with everything I could possibly have needed. This is a model of what proper AirBnB should be - us tourists financially supporting local people and their lives/work on Dartmoor. Fab! I'll be back!

brilliant stay at poppy's barn. we're a family of 5 and it felt cosy and homely. the kids loved playing in the garden and slept well in their twin room. beautiful views and peaceful nights, we rested well in the house. in the area, we thoroughly enjoyed exploring trebarwith strand beach at low tide. we visited tintagel, boscastle and port Isaac. great little villages near by. thank you for having us!

Lovely homely stay, very comfy beds and sofa, well equipped kitchen and brilliant hot tub! Donna was so welcoming, helpful and responsive if needed. We went on some great days out to Glastonbury and Wookey Hole, plus Tyntesfield. The area was very quiet, the road did not bother us at all and we had an excellent meal at the local pub the Litton, would highly recommend.

The views from Cider Barn are so beautiful. We watched a barn owl hunting over the fields at dusk and dawn and the sound of a tawny owl whit wooing as I was going to sleep was magical! The living room / kitchen / dining is light and open plan and when I was there the sun was streaming in from sunrise to sunset. Loved watching the sunset with the owl hunting! Really enjoyed my stay here. It's an old barn - so the floor boards are a bit creaky but it is a special place.

An absolute superhost. So accommodating with early check ins and always there to help if needed prior to arrival. I cannot recommend Kate enough to people staying. Thanks so much

A lovely stay, had everything you could possibly need - we had two infants with us and loved the amount of space. Felt like we where out in the countryside but only 5mins from a big food shop. Lots of lovely walks nearby

We had such a lovely stay at the barn. The photos really don't do it justice, and I felt like we found a real steal. It was a great base for exploring Glastonbury and ham wall. The beds were comfortable and the house well equipped. We had a small issue with the WiFi and Michelle immediately responded to messages about it and sent someone over to look at it. We asked if we could check out half an hour later and Michelle kindly obliged. I really appreciated her flexibility and how seriously she takes hosting. We hope to stay again

Sarah was just the best host. We had fresh baked sourdough our first morning which was so nice & a bottle of wine waiting on arrival. The place was amazing & so quiet. Truffles the family dog was a welcome visitor everyday & our 3 dogs adored him! he's very special. Location was great, we visited Bude, Tintagel, Port Isaac & Boscastle. Accommodation was fab, massive comfy beds, clean & very modern. We both loved how it had been decorated, really quirky. All in all we didn't want to leave & we miss Truffles already. Highly recommend & we'll be back x

This was 10/10 the place was so clean and tidy, could not have any negative feedback from this little break one bit. The kids loved the place was so so cosy and the place was ideal for us and our young family and the dog. We will be back Claire thank you so much for all the efforts !! The cold ciders was ideal for our long journey from London, and the kids loved the brownies. We never been to an air BNB with all the little touches our 3 year old has taken charge of the water bottle. Thank you Claire we will most see your lovely little barn again. Memories are every thing one love 💙

Trish and Paul were such great hosts. Hugely helpful and responsive and such lovely touches. Fresh flower on arrival and a gorgeous hand painted card. Great instructions to get into the place and lovely suggestions for enjoying the surroundings. The animals on site were such a joy to get involved with and Paul was so kind to let us collect eggs and feed the chickens, goats and alpacas. Would definitely recommend this tranquil spot. Thank you so much for having us, we will be back for sure x

It was so lovely to arrive at Laura’s accommodation late on Friday night. The house is beautifully finished, well appointed and deliciously warm and cosy with every attention to detail taken care of. Laura, Edd and gorgeous dog Otter, popped round to say Hi and gave us books for walks in the area. We would definitely like to return, if only to enjoy the privacy and fabulous wood burner! Have to mention The Old Dairy just up the lane which did the most amazing breakfast. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Great love and care has been taken with this converted cottage. Everything is 5* accommodation is immaculate, but still homely and the attention to detail amazing, from slippers and robes for the hot tub and milk, butter, tea bags and a delicious lemon cake !! Fantastic stay, Catherine and mark were both very kind, helpful and welcoming, the barn was very clean and tidy, perfect surroundings which were private and peaceful. Catherine also went out of her way to get us a thoughtful welcoming basket. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

A beautiful place to stay. Stunning beams in the bedroom, very well restored, spotless modern bathroom with infa red sauna and electric shower. Lots of wildlife can be heard at night. Fantastic wood burner with under floor heating downstairs. Easy walk to Exford. Great village shop with all you need and 2 pubs. We drove to Withypool and walked to Tarr Steps which was an 8 mile round trip but a great excursion in glorious late February sunshine. Lovely view from the garden at the pub at Tarr Steps and the food was good too. We love Exmoor as it is an unspoilt gem with so much peace and nature to surround yourself in. Everyone you meet is friendly which also helps. Photos of this place do not do it justice!

Maureen was very helpful. The house was lovely and well equipped and lovely and clean. It was peaceful , we felt well rested. Would recommend

We loved staying at Greenlands Barn. the cottage was beautifully laid out and was warm and comfortable, Sarah made sure we had everything we needed. We used it as a base to enjoy the local area and to go on the West Somerset Steam railway. We saw a kingfisher and enjoyed a beautiful paddle up the river in the canoe. This Air b n b is highly recommended and other family members are interested in booking. Thank you Sarah

The place was exactly as described, very clean and the instructions were clear. We had a slight problem with the code to open the door, but Jenny immediately responded to aid us. The location is beautiful up a narrow lane, away from traffic, so very peaceful and there was enough room for our four cars. We enjoyed the outside space on the sunnier days. The facilities were perfect, all worked well, the open fire was a bonus as the weather was a little bit mixed. Note no logs are provided...so stop at local Spar to get some on your way to the house. A lovely little place to stay for a couple of nights - nothing really to do in the area so more for if you’re wanting to get away from it all. Very well equipped and clean. Excellent host, really friendly and great communication. Would definitely stay again if we were to travel back to the area. We were staying for a wedding at treetop escapes - very close to the venue

My stay at Frances’ was absolutely lovely- she made us feel very welcome from the offset! The place is very charming and homely- I’ll be back for sure if I return to this neck of the woods!

Kieran’s place was great, it was clean and had everything we needed and more. The outdoor space was also lovely and it was so nice to have the hot tub! Kieran was a great host, very communicative and provided us with lots of information. I would highly recommend this place!

Super stay at this lovely cottage. Great upstairs /downstairs layout with huge space upstairs for socialising. Had everything we needed for a super easy stay for 4 adults and 2 dogs and kitchen was well stocked for cooking at home and enjoying the space. Enjoyed not being hit with a long list of house rules, super relaxed hosts and very dog friendly. Would definitely stay again as great area for exploring Devon.
