Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Les Mathes

The house is well equipped, the kitchen is spacious, there are large closets in each room. We had a pleasant spring holiday, the bike paths are very close. Marie Line responds very quickly and gave us a lot of information.

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

We were very well hosted. Accommodation as advertised. We were able to learn tennis and discover the city of Les Mathes, which is very pleasant.

Very well arranged space with the necessary accessories to feel at home. Quiet & peaceful place. Sébastien is very responsive and gives good advice for activities. The only small negative point (which would not be for everyone); at sunrise, a lot of light from the front door, maybe a small thing to improve otherwise it's great. I recommend it and if we come back to the area, we will not fail to come back ☺️

Very nice house, clean, functional and well-equipped for 8 people. The children's space on the mezzanine is very nice. The outside is very quiet and soothing. Thanks to Jeremy for his welcome, his advice and his availability if needed.

We had a pleasant stay at this house. The courtyard is very nice especially for us who came with our two grandsons. Nothing was missing, the sun was there too!! We were hosted very well by a charming lady, very kind and smiling Liliane. She was very attentive, especially for check-in and check-out times. This lady did everything she could to be nice to us! Many thanks to our hosts! We will come back for sure!!

We had a pleasant stay in a very nice and very quiet apartment. We did not have the opportunity to meet Sandra, however a bottle of wine and a packet of cakes were waiting for us on the table when we arrived. Saint Palais sur mer is a very pretty seaside town and the wild coast is beautiful.

Jacques is a pleasant, serious and available host. The accommodation is clean and organised. I recommend it.

Great Host, large and bright apartment with a very nice decor and lots of facilities. View from the window of the pretty building of the Marché des Marennes with its Baltard-style architecture and the three restaurants less than a minute away. 10 min by bike to the beach (thanks for the bike:)). The large car park at Place Carnot is 100 m away. Special mention for the layout of the apartment (there must be about twenty light points and sockets and the kitchen is used with much more than the essentials). Thank you for everything, we'll be back with pleasure.

Nathalie's place is located in a beautiful and peaceful woodland setting. The space is well-presented, comfortable and clean and it had everything we needed for our stay. It is even better than the photos. The outside space is really lovely, and we felt welcomed to enjoy it. Nathalie was responsive and friendly throughout our stay.

We had a great weekend! The accommodation is as advertised, clean, well-equipped and very pleasant to live in. Communication with the host was smooth, Nathalie was available and responsive. The location is ideal for enjoying La Palmyre and its surroundings (various restaurants, beaches, bars, etc.) We recommend this accommodation without hesitation! Thank you again!

We had a most pleasant stay in Marielle and Jean Claude's very well located apartment. We were able to enjoy their superb terrace. The residence is very well maintained and very quiet. Beautiful studio, very clean and well-equipped, with a good real bed and a small terrace. Well located, very close to the beaches of Vaux-sur-Mer and Saint-Palais, easily accessible on foot as well as the shops. We also enjoyed the calm, the view of the trees framing a small stretch of sea and the reserved parking. In addition, the host welcomes us in person, for once it's not a lockbox, it's appreciated.

We were delighted with our stay. The apartment matches the photos point by point. The kitchen is small but very functional with all the utensils, nothing is missing.
