We absolutely loved Kirsteen's place. The coach house itself was just perfect for our needs. Two spacious bedrooms, a large sitting area and kitchen, all in a beautiful neighborhood. We enjoyed walking to the nearby park with our dog, and we really enjoyed the nearby cafe and pub recommended by our hosts. The bus into town was super convenient. We highly recommend staying with Kirsteen for the perfect balance of tourist and local while visiting Edinburgh.

I had a wonderful stay at Jans. The room was cozy, comfortable and had everything I needed for a couple of nights. Easy to get into the city by bus too. Would definitely stay again.

Melissa’s flat has been put together with so much thought, it is stylish, cosy, and comfortable. It is perfectly located to be walkable for all the main sites in Edinburgh and has lots of nice restaurants, coffee shops, and bars nearby (and Melissa provided a guidebook to help find the best spots). Melissa was incredibly accommodating and even arranged an infant cot for us. Would absolutely stay again!

Prompt communication. Easy to access public transportation. Quiet place just outside of the city. Would book again

This is the best place to stay in Edinburgh. The design and facilities are perfect. I really enjoyed my stay in this house. The owner is really kind and friendly.

amazing place to stay with fantastic views in all directions from the walkway round the top of the tower. Susan couldn't be more helpful and everything needed is there for you when you arrive including Susan's home made bread and a muffin. the place is impeccably decorated with lots of little details and the stairwell has some beautiful paintings by gerry. overall an amazing place

The Garden Cottage was everything we hoped for and more. The location was very convenient to Stockbridge and all of its restaurants and shops. There are numerous bus stops within 10-20 mins walk to grab a quick bus up the hill into New Town, across Princes Gardens into Old Town, or even for easy day trips like to Rosslyn Chapel or Portobello. Victoria was a very accommodating host and easy to work with. The cottage had plenty of space, was very well equipped for self-catering, and was stocked with all the basics you need (e.g., coffee, tea, sugar, etc.). Having a washer and dryer (as well as a drying rack) was a luxury we’ve rarely seen in the UK or Europe.

Great location and beautiful surroundings! A perfect small apartment for a place to sleep while you explore Leith and Edinburgh. You’ll get a good booty burn every time you return home; 4 flights of stairs to the apartment door!

Pier is so friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with local recommendations. The room is tidy and clean, with fresh linens and all necessary amenities. The apartment is in a good location, not a long walk from waverley station. The kitchen is well-equipped for those who enjoy cooking, and the WiFi connection is strong and reliable. The check-in process was smooth, and communication with Pier was excellent throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay!

This was the nicest place of our stay! The pictures do not do it justice. You literally have the most amazing view overlooking Edinburgh. You can tell the owners put a lot of effort into making this place spectacular. They have an incredible taste, and we were very fortunate to have the opportunity to stay there. I highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time staying in Connor's place which looked just like the pictures and felt like a home in Scotland. Very walkable to downtown as well as great restaurant options just a few minutes away. Connor was responsive and helpful with a guide that covered everything needed. Would definitely stay here again when I return to Edinburgh.

Fiona’s place was great, super convenient for the city centre! Only a 10 min walk either through the park or around the streets to the Royal Mile. Lots of buses to take you into the centre too with a very handy bus app called Edinbus. The apartment was clean, homely and perfect for me and my mum. The sofa bed was very comfy! All the amenities that you could need. Fiona was responsive and informative. She was very lovely and gave a very detailed explanation on how to find the apartment upon check in.

I highly recommend Anke-Beate's flat. We would definitely return. The location is ideal to get around Edinburgh, it is spacious and even better than the photos. Everything was clean, and the added touches were very much appreciated. The flat is fully kitted out with everything needed. Communication was great. Thank you for a great stay!

Great stay just outside Edinburgh. Quick trolly ride or a 25 minute walk into town on the Leith Walk. So much to see it goes by quickly! The internet was fast, house was clean, and check in with Craig’s parents was easy. Woke up to the sound of birds every day! No traffic noise keeping us awake.

We had a great stay in Brian's apartment. Instructions for getting key were clear and easy to follow. The apartment was spotless and had everything required for a very pleasant stay. We enjoyed having the patio area to sit in for morning coffee or an evening refreshment. Easy local transport links to city centre are very close by. Pubs, restaurants and a large Supermarket are within an easy 10 mins walk. Brian was easy to communicate with and gave us some local recommendations. We would recommend Brian's apartment and will book again if its available when we are visiting Edinburgh again in the future.

We spent two nights at The Butler's Basement for my husband's birthday and it was an ideal base. We did have an issue getting in as the lockbox didn't work, but her son came down and resolved the issue. The apartment was very clean and in a great area - some lovely bars and restaurants that we preferred to spend time in, more than the busier side of Edinburgh. Gemma was very responsive to my messages and we also had a bottle of fizz in the fridge as well as some short bread and chocolate. It might be an idea to put a small bottle of milk in the fridge, as we did have tea and coffee provided but didn't want to buy a whole pint of milk to make a couple of drinks. However it certainly wasn't an issue that would stop us staying again!

We loved our stay at Emanuele's flat. It was exactly like the pictures and felt very cozy. It felt great to come back and relax after a long day of exploring the city.

This was a great little flat in a lovely area and felt very quiet and relaxing. Not to far from anything at all. I would happily stay there again and will be looking to see if it is available

We had a fantastic stay at Calum’s place. Having flown from Australia it was lovely to arrive to a cosy, beautifully decorated and incredibly quiet apartment. It had everything we needed, was easy to find and access, close to public transport though it was easy to walk to all key places. Calum communicated clearly and in a timely fashion. We would definitely stay again, highly recommend!
