Bright, spacious one bed apartment in Leith

RazvanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We spent a week at Lucy's apartment in Leith. The location is very good: secure, private and quiet, and yet close to what matters in the area. We were able to walk to all Edinburgh attractions. Lucy was proactive and clear in her communication and the apartment was exactly what we expected. We'll definitely consider it next time we'll visit Edinburgh.

Free Parking - Modern and Cozy City Centre Flat

TaylorRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We actually stayed at Michelle's place for four months and it was a great home away from home. Check in went smoothly and her instructions were super clear. Any time there was a problem she responded very quickly and got the problem solved immediately. Great shower with nice body wash, shampoo, conditioner. Updated kitchen with all the appliances you could need. We only had to buy small things like paper towels, sandwich bags, garbage bags, etc. Comfy bed and overall comfortable stay. Big dresser and huge closets for all our things. Washer/dryer in the apt was a must and it was great. There's a clothes drying rack as well. Location was lovely and we enjoyed being so close to everything, we walked all over. 10 minutes to Calton Hill, 30 to the Royal Mile, 20 to St James quarter. Also maybe only a 5 minute walk to the tram stop which can take you all the way to New Haven or the Edinburgh Airport with lots of stops along the way both ways. Close to bus stops as well.

Cool neighbourhood to stay in. Bus stop was right outside but we took an Uber anywhere we needed to go. David left a binder for us which had friendly advice of places to eat in the area which came in handy. Was nice to be able to drop off our bags early before check in!

Stylish and spacious 1 bed Edinburgh tenement flat

KillianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Corinne was an excellent host and her apartment was perfect for my stay. The city centre is easily accessible by bus or walking, and the location gives you access to Leith. The flat itself is fantastic - clean, well-equipped and full of personality. Corinne was very responsive and helpful, it couldn't have been better!

Lovely City Centre Hideaway

FionaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Fiona and Neil were excellent at responding to any of our questions or concerns. We had questions before we left which were all answered promptly. While at the house we had some simple issues which needed a solution and Fiona was always very quick to reply to help us with both photos and further information to help us solve everything. The place was gorgeous and I would live there full time if I could :). There was a Tesco (very well stocked) a 2-5 minute walk away and lots of shops around as well. Very close to a tram stop which would take you straight in to the city or down to the marina very quickly and easily. Loved staying here and would definitely stay again.

Modern apartment overlooking Edinburgh Castle

PragyaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb during our trip to Edinburgh with my parents. The location was excellent—central, safe, and within easy reach of key attractions, public transport, and some great cafes. The apartment was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made check-in and any small questions really easy to handle. It was a comfortable space for all of us, and we appreciated the quiet surroundings at night. Overall, a great experience—we’d definitely recommend it to others traveling with family!

Entire flat in central Stockbridge

MarcRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I arrived at the flat after 10pm and so was especially grateful for crystal clear and easy instructions for access. The stairs are a bit of a hike for anyone not used to living in a walk up, but I’m a not especially athletic 66 and was fine even with my carry-on suitcase & large backpack. The place gets 5 stars from me for the super-responsive, pleasant, and helpful host and the lovely residential but fun neighborhood, perfect for the working traveller who prefers local charm. Breakfast at Romina & a leisurely cappuccino with my iPad at Books ‘n Cups was the ideal way to start a day when I did not have to be anywhere until late morning. I made a venison steak for dinner just so I could feel a little local by patronizing the charming butcher shop around the coroner from the flat. A couple of local bars (side by side) stay open until “late.” There’s a range of ethnic & other restaurants, & several book shops, including Rare Birds, which specializes in women authors (get the name?).

Spectacular Studio hideaway in City Centre

PuskarRating, 5 stars2 days ago
The place is walkable distance to great bars and the botanical garden. Close to the bus stop as well that takes you to the royal mile in 15mins. The place has all the listed amenities. You can hear the noise in the hallway and front door banging. I would've liked an airtight door to create some soundproofing. The upstairs neighbor noise wasn't a big problem for me. The place was clean and kitchen was fully stocked!

Traditional 3 Bedroom Quiet Flat by High St, Trams

RikeshRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Great stay! Axel was a super responsive host and was always there to accommodate our needs. Parking was a bit of a problem at first but Axel gave us good recommendations and found us the best places to park. The only point I would make and this is no criticism to the Air BnB. 7 of us stayed at the Air BnB, whilst there was plenty of bedroom space in each area there is only toilet so just be mindful of that. But 10 10 experience and Axel is a great host. The location of the Air BnB was great. 30 minutes walk to Edinburgh castle or you can take a tram. Plenty of good restaurants also

Super Central: 1 min to Waverley Station

LamyaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was my favourite stay on Airbnb so far. Mark was an incredible host, with great communication, clear instructions and generosity with everything (we made full use of the Nespresso machine 😂). The flat itself was beautiful, very nicely decorated. you can tell just from looking at it that a lot of thought and effort went into it, has a lot of personality, and quite clear that mark uses it himself as well. would definitely recommend to anyone who doesn't mind the slightly higher price and a few flights of stairs :)

Cosy one-bedroom apartment in central Edinburgh

MarlyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Hanna has a beautiful appartment ideally situated to go around Edinburgh without being in the busy parts of town. It is well stocked and very confortable for a short stay in the city for a person alone or a small group of people (we were three). Hanna is a very responsive host that answers quickly. I highly recommend staying with her!

city, sea & beach at your door:dbl/private bathrm

ThijsRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!
