Feels like a proper holiday staying here with the beach right on the doorstep and the sun trap garden. Lovely little home, comfortable and with all the essentials as well as a fab location.

Oak Cottage is a beautiful property with typical cottage feel and modern comfortable living features as seen in the pictures. Everything you needed was provided, with plenty of crockery, pans etc. a coffee machine, coffee pods a Cafetière, tea, including herbal teas & sugar all provided. There was milk, butter & bread in the fridge. Lovely details of Chocolates in a sweet tray on the dining room table and water bottles in the bedrooms. The bathroom and ensuite had hand soap and cream, shower gel, and plenty of towels were provided. Lorna was very helpful and responsive to our messages prior to our stay, we had no need to contact her during our stay. I would highly recommend Lorna & Oak Cottage.

Spent a lovely and peaceful family weekend at Simone’s place. Upon arriving the Airbnb was very clean and tidy, looked just like the photos with some added personal touches in the kitchen (thank you). A lovely view over the beach which was so much calmer and peaceful in comparison to others beaches further along. 10 minute walk to the high street with some very nice independent shops. Simone was flexible on checkout which was great for us as we had nice weather the weekend we visited. 🙂 Would highly recommend, and I would definitely return!

Nestled in the South Downs, a few miles north of Brighton, in a quintessential English village, We found The Granary, here to spend some time with our adult children and grandchildren. The house is absolutely gorgeous, the kitchen is huge and well equipped, but the star is the lounge, high ceilings with oak beams. But the house is only part of the story, stroll around the beautiful, extensive grounds you will feel like lord and lady of the manor!

Andrea’s place in Brighton was absolutely outstanding—by far the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in! Every corner of the apartment was spotless, fresh, and clearly well cared for. It made the whole experience feel extra comfortable and relaxing. Beyond the incredible cleanliness, the space was beautifully set up, fully equipped, and in a great location—close to the beach, shops, and restaurants, but still nice and quiet. Andrea was also a wonderful host—warm, responsive, and thoughtful throughout my stay. I can’t recommend this place highly enough and would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Brighton!

We had a blissful time at the granary and would definitely recommend this place to others. It’s a beautiful building but the grounds of Coes Farm and the added bonus of having a pool (which if you are lucky is essentially a private pool all to yourself as it was always empty when we went in) make it an amazing place to unwind and rest. The property had everything we needed, including some little ducks who came to the back door to welcome us! We would also recommend a trip to Canterbury while you are here, it is a beautiful place to visit.

We had a great long weekend stay here to celebrate a special birthday. The weather was good so the grandchildren made full use of the pool, huge garden and tennis court - as did some of the adults. House was very clean and well equipped. Very peaceful and secluded setting - everyone said they would love to come back again.

We had a lovely stay. The pool is brilliant and was very kindly ready for us when we arrived. Our little boy had a fantastic time. Beds very comfy and apartment really well spaced and designed. All you need for a short break. Walked to the local pub which was also very good. Thank you!

Our 3 generation family, aged 15 - 78, spent a fantastic week here. The cottage is well equipped and had all that we needed to, mainly, self cater. We enjoyed eggs (including 2 with double yolks) from the 4 chickens, apples and garden produce, pizzas in the Ooni, paella on the outdoor paella cooker and barbecues. We loved feeding the rabbit and fish, playing in the pool and spent some evenings around the outdoor fire pit. We celebrated a special birthday with a take-away from Cowfold Cottage Tandoori, which we recommend. We visited Worthing, about half an hour away, for a day at the seaside. Many thanks to Crispin for the use of his lovely house.

The barn was beautiful, we had such a lovely stay. The decor was stunning and there was lots of special touches that made our stay more comfortable. Michelle was very good at communicating with us and the main owner of the barn met us on out first day and gave us lots of useful information regarding the barn the sites and walks around the area. We would definitely love to come back in the future.

Pekes is a perfect weekend get away. Set in Sussex countryside far from the madding crowd. With facilities on the door: swimming pool and jacuzzi. We stayed at Tudor View which has stunning views and was a comfortable living space for the five of us. Thank you Pekes Team.

Perfect place for our family of four to stay for a peaceful and secluded retreat for a couple of nights. The cottage was lovely and the grounds and surrounding garden were beautiful. My two primary school aged daughters loved spending time in the swimming pool and even attempted to play a bit of tennis! Caroline was a brilliant host and keen to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Super friendly and always clear and responsive with communication. Would love to stay here again some time and hope we get a chance to do so!

This is an accurately described, beautiful home in idyllic countryside. The house is spacious and very stylishly furnished with vintage furniture and artwork. Ideally there would be one or two more bathrooms with showers - we knew this before staying of course - it just means more planning of showering with a larger group of people staying. We especially loved relaxing in the garden room with the gorgeous views of the garden and rolling hills beyond. We were incredibly lucky with the weather so definitely made the most of having a pool and pizza oven and BBQ. And we picked fresh figs off the tree by the pool, delicious! The kids loved the trampoline and table tennis. Enzo was great and prompt at communicating with us. We appreciated the local recommendations - we enjoyed lunch at the Jolly Sportsman, coffee at Cafe du Jardin and a mooch around all the antiques shops in Lewes. A very comfortable house to enjoy with three generations of our family.

The perfect kind of place I wish I had for myself. Perfectly placed near to the beach amd amenities. The host was so lovely and made sure our stay was just perfect. Clean, tidy and just a really nice place overall.

Fantastic location, property and host. We lived the whole place, especially the comfy beds and beautiful outside space. Really close to Church Road with lots of options for eating out etc. we would definitely stay here again. Thanks a million Julie.

Lee is a wonderful host, incredibly helpful and responsive. The apartment is lovely, really clean and very well stocked, parking was easy to find - highly recommend!!

Sarah’s home is warm, charming, and thoughtfully decorated—it’s clear she has a real talent for creating a beautiful space. The vibrant mural in the stairwell took our breath away, and just outside, the little street lined with creative graffiti adds a delightful and unique touch. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from the train station, the main shopping street, and the seaside, which made for a lovely stroll. Sarah thoughtfully prepared fresh bread and milk for us, and her kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed. The room had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. This truly is a lovely little gem of a home. Thank you!

We had a great 3 nights stay with 2 little dogs at the Annex. The place is modern, clean and nicely decorated. Vanessa and Tim are welcoming and friendly, and they got everything ready for us before our arrival. Eggs, milk, bread, preserves and butter all prepared for us as well. Small kitchen with everything you need. Brighton city center is just a short drive, and you can have a nice little walk to the windmill and beach. The view and the surrounding area of the annex is peaceful and spectacular. This is definitely one of the best Airbnb stay we have, wish we could stay longer! Highly recommended!
