I can’t respond to booking requests until 15 November. This house is on a quiet tree-lined street but within walking distance of Herne Hill, Brixton, and Brockwell Park, the biggest in Lambeth. There is very limited weekday parking. There are excellent bus, underground and train links eg 30 mins to the West End. The houseboat is a unique place to stay in London, within easy reach of all of London’s landmarks, including Tower Bridge and Tower of London (5 mins by train). The boat is moored within a marina which means that there is very limited boat movement on the water. A beautiful flat in a lovely converted Victorian house, located just off the high road in the heart of Streatham Hill. Please note I usually live in the flat (in a different bedroom) so my belongings will be there, but I will stay elsewhere for the duration of your visit so you will have the flat to yourself. We are a peaceful, modern, minimalistic & carbon zero detached cabin. Very private, very secure, tucked away, surrounded by trees, plants, birds and nature, you'll think you're in the country. It has its own private garden and entrance. The cabin is built from slow-grown larch and has triple glazed doors. Inside is fitted out with sustainable materials like birch ply-panelling and plant based flooring, and we an MVHR clean air system. We harvest rainwater, compost and power by ASHP.

A welcoming family live-workspace offering a comfortable and inspiring base to explore the city.

A great one bedroom garden flat

This is a lovely one bedroomed, self contained garden flat. It is a light and airy space which has a open plan living area and kitchen. The bedroom has a double bed and a comfortable sofabed in the living room. ( please note that although there is a sofa bed, the flat is available to book for 2 guests, or three people if guests have a child) NB Please note that at present I am only taking bookings for a max 5 nights stay, thanks.

This is our own family home. We rent it out whilst away ourselves. We have lived here for over twenty years and love the area for convenience for shops & transport, friendly neighbours & parks for walking. The house is warm, safe and well maintained. Whether you want an evening sitting in the living room or a dinner party round the kitchen table, we hope you pick up on the informal and cozy vibe we love so much.
