I had an absolutely incredible stay at Helen’s, even if maybe at first I might have been a bit sceptical (I arrived tired, wet from the rain in the morning and sweating with the temperature increase… and then learned that the elevator was not working…). So, the start might not have been great (for both of us maybe), but what followed was an absolutely inspiring exchange with Helen. Meeting her and cat Tigerlina was really a blessing. As for the apartment, everything was exactly as described; the room is spacious, and the location next to the canal and in walking distance to Paddington and Notting Hill is very convenient (Little Venice was a great discovery!). It’s an AirBnB experience as it should be; the contrary of those where you stay in overstyled but soulless apartments. I can totally recommend Helen’s place to every solo travelling lady.

Really a beautiful typical London apartment, it was clean, with everything you need and more to spend a few days there and relax after a day of walks. Super well connected just a couple minutes away from the subway station. I would definitely stay with Elizabeth again. Thank you so much for everything and congratulations on such a beautiful space. Carol’s lovely home is bright and airy. Shared bathroom is pristine, and I only saw one other person use it once. It was practically “mine”. As a solo female traveller, the very safe neighborhood (even late at night) and the leisurely 2 min walk to the train were a plus. Everyone on Airbnb SAYS they are a 2-min walk to everything, but Carol’s home literally is. Grocery, pubs, cafes, fine dining, and a lovely waterfront walkway in town, provide anything you might need. Carol herself is warm and friendly. Very responsive and helpful. Just a lovely human. 🙂 Note: The 30-min train ride into central London is not the tube. It’s a very comfortable, air conditioned “suburban line”. No transfers. Just walk the two mins, relax for 30, and you’re at Waterloo station, from which you can get anywhere. Can’t say enough good things. Be sure to check out the “French” cafe Feathers and Heart. Great food and service. *Gorgeous* garden with several shaded seating areas, and it is y ruly quiet.

When I decide to travel to London, the very first thing I always check is if Jennifer's accommodation is available. Jennifer is always in kind communication and strives to help with the arrival process even before check-in. The welcome gift was a truly touching gesture! The exceptionally clean kitchen and bathroom made my entire stay comfortable. Being able to buy ingredients and cook my own meals was definitely a huge advantage in London, as eating out for every single meal can be challenging. Plus, having a bus stop right outside the property was incredibly convenient! I highly recommend Jennifer's place. 특히 여러모로 한국 분들께 더욱 추천합니다!

Just the right spot if you want to experience Notting Hill neighborhood and the Portobello market which is right outside her front door on Fri’s and Sat’s. Her son Heathcote was there to let me in and I appreciated that he waited as I had a bit of a delay in travel. Her cat Mia was a sweetheart! Thank you for a lovely stay ..too short but perfect experience
