Watch the world go by over breakfast from the bay window of this warm, inviting flat. Just a stroll across Hyde Park from the V&A and other museums, the home combines modern design, warm wood accents, and original architectural details. This beautiful apartment is a perfect base for anyone here on business or pleasure for 2 nights or a lot longer . It is perfect for exploring the city along with sight seeing . Oxford street is 15/20mins walk . Or there is the tube which is one stop away .With Hyde park at the end of the road 5 mins away . .Kensington palace royal Albert hall and the museums are all close by .being the other side of the park ,Notting-hill with portobello is not to be Missed on Saturdays . In the local area you will find everything you will need for a great stay in London pubs , gastro pubs cafes restaurants and local food stores all within a stones throw . There are a Nu of buses at the end of the road . You are within walking distance of the west end with everything you could possibly require during your stay . Paddington is only 5 mins away with the Heathrow express just taking 15mins . You are so central to this AMZ city come and enjoy it the way I myself do . This apartment will fit 4 people it has 2 double beds . There is a nespresso machine for all those that enjoy a good coffee in the mornings . The apartment is in a Stucco building as per photo and is on the first floor ,it is in a conservation area and cannot be pulled down or altered in any way it is true london for those that wish to sample it and go back in time . The back bedroom has french doors which leads to a small balcony . The apartment is light and airy there are no high rise buildings around it ,your outlook would be Stucco houses only as per photo shows . There is constant hot water for you and the apartment will be very warm and cosy for you in these coming winter months You also have winterwonderland which starts in november in hyde park for those that are here it is a fab night out . You are in a very safe area , no back streets or dark roads . I live just 10 mins away and after 40 years i still love it . Susie . The apartment is conveniently located near many of London's major museums, and there are two tube stations at the end of the road. For a morning jog, the Serpentine is a must, or just walk for a coffee and breakfast with a view of the lake. Lancaster Gate tube is at the end of the road and Paddington station is within 5 min walk. Also there are many bus stops at the end of the road . Paddington express is 20 mins from Heathrow . You are in central London walking is the best way to get around .I will advise you on the best way to get to the places of interest that you want to go on your arrival to make your trip is as easy as possible for you . We have 2 tube stations nearby . There is also a boris bike station at the end of the road cross over the road and you are in Hyde park to ride your bikes right around Hyde park and Kensington park and feel safe from traffic they have cycling lanes in the Park . There are 2 coffee bars / restaurants in hyde park over looking the serpentine which is a must , which is all within walking distance . You also have kensington palace which is adjoining hyde park . Selfridges is 15/20 mins walk for those that love a good shop being in the famous oxford street adjoining bond street and regent street ,and of course piccadillay .Straight across the park is harrods in Knightsbridge .along with there competition Harvey Nichols . Also there is the V/A. And the National museum . Getting around is easy as the tube is at the end of the road and has the central and district line . But everywhere is within easy reach . my advice is put on your trainers or some old comfy shoes and stroll around and take it all in ,why be stuck in the tube when its all near by . . There is also a Waitrose supermarket which is 5 mins away Waitrose is a higher end supermarket and this one is there Flagship store with lots of special 's . Across the park you will find the V&A / science /natural history museums and the royal Albert hall . Harrods, Sloane street and Harvey Nichols and Kensington place . Portobello market in Notting Hill Gate is open on Saturdays which is a must see. Selfridges in the famous oxford street is within 20 minute away or one stop away by tube .which would be about 5/10 mins . if your feet are tired you can easily pop back to the apartment for a rest before venturing out again , bearing in mind selfridges closes at 10 pm , sight see during the day then shop during the evening why not . The serpentine in Hyde park is a must to enjoy breakfast , lunch , dinner , or just a coffee to relax unwind and watch the wild life around you . If you are an early bird you will often see the guards horses being exercised A laundry service can be provided for all bed linen for guest that are staying for longer periods at extra rates .also a cleaning service can be provided for longer stays at an extra cost .
