We, father and daughter, Judith and Engelbert offer uncomplicated, simple accommodation. There are double rooms with a double bed and private bathroom but no breakfast. Since I'm working, we offer breakfast only on request for an extra charge of 12.00 per breakfast per person. We are centrally located in the valley. Klais is located at about 940 meters above NN. In 2015 and 2022, the G7 / summit, including Barak Obama, took place here. A place to spend summer, as well as winter. Hiking, mountain biking, motorcycle tours, as well as cross-country skiing in winter and of course also classical skiing is possible in and around Klais. Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Mittenwald and Seefeld can be reached in between 10 and 20 minutes. All bus and train journeys are free with the guest card.

The bus stops with connections to Innsbruck and the Axamer Lizum ski resort (travel time 20 minutes each) are in the immediate vicinity (2-minute walk). Innsbruck Airport is 5 km away.

Our family-run guesthouse is very central. You can reach the clinic, university, old town and the Wifi in about 10 minutes' walk. The Alpine Zoo is also a few minutes away by car or bus. All our rooms are equipped with shower/toilet as well as satellite TV and Internet (Wi-Fi). With us, the varied and very balanced breakfast and parking are included in the price. Zugspitz Apartment - by Gästehaus Buchwieser

Our charming, traditional and family-run guest house is within walking distance of the train station, Zugspitz train station, ice stadium and the pedestrian zone of Garmisch. The apartment has a double and a single bed with a small kitchenette, minibar, TV, WiFi, private bathroom/shower/toilet and a balcony. (2nd floor) Unfortunately, we will no longer offer breakfast starting in 2025.

We have a house bar in the basement where you can enjoy a beer/cocktail or other drink in the afternoon/evening. In the morning breakfast is included and you can enjoy a breakfast buffet. No extensive luxury, but lots of fun!
