Beach house holiday rentals in Guanacaste Province

Words cannot describe Gabby’s house, it was AMAZING! For prior vacations, we have stayed in houses in Playa Carrillo, Samara, and Quepos and Casa Del Sol by-far tops ALL of those houses. From the million dollar view, to the quality of the build/house, to the AWESOME DECOR, to the on-site hosts (Henry and Zeidy), ALL of it was top notch! When you’re in the backyard/in the pool, of course you feel like you’re at the beach, but that continues inside with all of the homey beach house decor! And did I mention the AC??? Ice cold, perfect for coming in from a long day fishing or beach! Next mention is Henry and Zeidy, UNBELIEVABLY welcoming and attentive, yet they know how to respect privacy. If you’ve never stayed at a house with daily cleaning, it’s a GAME CHANGER. Any issue or request, taken care of immediately. And not to mention Zeidy’s cooking! We had 3 lunches and 2 dinners prepared by Zeidy, simply delicious! We are even talking about booking again during the dry season!

We were looking forward a remote location to settle for some months. This was a great sanctuary to be alone and explore the empty beach. The WiFi was very good , even when other local services were unavailable. The neighbour made us delicious food when requested. A great adventure.

We had the best time! We had a few small plumbing issues, Joel was immediately responsive and problems were solved within an hour. Restaurants: Rustico, Rural (Tamarindo), Lola’s. Beaches: playa Flamingo & Playa Avellana were our favorites. House is super family friendly with the open concept.

Casa Samara was described as family friendly, and it sure was! The kids *loved* the pool and we could walk right out the front gate to the beach. It was about a 25 minute walk (with kids) to downtown Samara. The hosts were so responsive when we extended our stay and needed some clean sheets. All of the rooms had fans and all of the beds had bug nets. 💜

5 Stars – Best Airbnb I’ve Stayed In! This place was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent—just 50 yards from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient to enjoy the ocean every day. The home itself was spotless, with a beautiful pool and a well-equipped, modern kitchen. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Vidal was amazing—super helpful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Hands down, this is the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Views were stunning with an infinity pool. Huge kitchen and bedrooms. Beautiful home.

The best review I can give is that is is a place I would stay at again and this Airbnb is one of those. The house was beautiful, the views fantastic, the location was close to everything we needed and the host, Lia, went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She had groceries delivered since we were arriving later in the day. Her recommendations on local spots were right on and she arranged a chef to cook for us on our last night and the meal was wonderful ( highly recommend it), Like I said, I can hardly wait until our next visit.

Had an amazing stay at this place, the surfing was top notch. The place is so quiet and peaceful and you can make your own journey on any way you want. I always travel during the off season , even though we had lots of rain the area and place made up for it. The host was so great and responsive and suggested a variety of things to do. The place has everything. Can’t wait to come back Leave no trace ✌️

This is a great place even if you never left the property it's such an enjoyable place to be we have watched the monkeys eat mangoes from the trees the rain in the evening and enjoyed the pool during the day the beach is a 3 minute drive and the home is absolutely amazing wouldn't change a thing.

This place was pure magic. Close to playa pelada and some great restaurants and the little bodega store. Our two families loved the separate living spaces that were just interactive enough. The concierge service was a great help in getting local recommendations and booking excursions. Would definitely recommend.

This place was the bomb. It was so beautiful, well appointed, totally well prepared for visitors with all Our needs. We loved it!!! We had a chance to recharge after a week of travel at hotels and couldn’t ask for a better place than this.

This place is stunning! It's up in the hills and super quiet. This modern home was beautiful and immaculate and had everything we needed. All the glass windows remind you that you are in the jungle and to slow down, what an amazing space. Claudia the property manager is fantastic and responsive. Very cool place. Pool was awesome and so were wildlife and views. Behind big gate and the AC was great all over the house. Washer and dryer nice touch. Saw cows horses birds and monkeys.

We had a fantastic stay! The home was spotless, peaceful, and perfectly located close to everything we needed yet tucked away in a quiet area. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the provided beach towels, were super convenient. The backyard was a lovely bonus; we enjoyed watching the lizards and listening to the birds each morning. There was a brief issue with the hot water, but it was addressed promptly and professionally. While we did notice the outdoor furniture didn’t have cushions, it didn’t take away from our overall experience. Highly recommend staying here it’s a wonderful place for a relaxing and comfortable getaway!

What a gem. To see that view when you walk in the door is amazing. It’s a beautiful house with everything you may need for your stay. Beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the pool is exactly like the pictures with warm water and bar stools to gaze out over that stunning view. The AC & fans do a great job of keeping you cool as a retreat from outside. We also loved the use of the beach chairs, towels and beach toys for the whole family. Our 3 small children loved it! We will be back!

Great place to stay! We loved the jungle feel at casa abejas and the salt water pool was amazing.

We had a great stay and hope to go back. Here are a few of our highlights: - House was perfect for a week long vacation in Avellanas for the 4 of us (parents plus two teenage sons). The kitchen was well stocked, the AC kept things cool at night, and we loved having AM coffee on the patio listening to birds and monkeys. - We very heavily used the community pool. We were the only ones staying in our group of homes around the pool so we had it to ourselves each day. It was cleaned daily. - It was a long walk to the beach (20min) so we often drove to the maintained parking lot by Lola's and paid the modest $4. (The fee helps maintain the beach access so it seems well-worth paying each day.) Because it was still walkable, we'd often walk home, leaving the kids with the car to finish up a surf session... it was nice to have that flexibility. - The gated community with guards felt very secure, but the overall area also felt very safe for our 5-7 mile runs, evening strolls, and more!

Everything was amazing! I literally felt like home. The apartment is very beautiful with nice design and furniture. It’s very private, a lot of green around the apartment. Kristen was an amazing host! She responds very quickly and is very friendly and helpful! Would love to come back when coming back to Samara :)

We had a wonderful stay at Mono Feliz! The villa had everything we needed to have a relaxing, peaceful stay in Costa Rica. The beach, beach club, shops, restaurants, and town were all in walking distance. After enjoying the day with all the area had to offer, it was especially nice to come back to the villa to dip in the pool. Hosts, Jeff and Gina, were attentive to our needs along with onsite management, Justin. Pura Vida!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Brigitte’s place! The house was exactly as pictured - clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. It’s perfectly located about a 7-minute drive from the center of Tamarindo, offering the ideal mix of easy access to town while being peacefully tucked away in nature. We worked remotely during our stay and the internet was fast and reliable the entire time, which was a huge plus. The pool area was quiet and relaxing, with stunning forest views and plenty of visits from howler monkeys, such a unique experience! The community was friendly and welcoming, and Brigitte herself was incredibly responsive and proactive, checking in and making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We felt well taken care of. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend this beautiful property!
