Fred and Kelly’s place is absolutely wonderful. We stayed because the price was better and there was a little more room than many places directly in the city. Though we looked forward to it, we didn’t expect to fall in love with it…and we did! Staying outside of the city is pretty great. It’s a 10ish minute walk to the train station, and then an easy navigation to wherever you need to go. We didn’t mind the “commute” a bit, and it was nice to start off and wind down in a quieter setting. The place itself is well kept, clean, and cozy. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot with good pressure. We enjoyed casting Netflix on the TV with the fireplace on in the evenings, and we spent a couple of mornings in the garden. We booked this spot our entire stay, but also spent one night in Amsterdam to experience “city life,” and also spent one night in Utrecht. These were perfect additions to our home base plan. I’d definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay at Vera's, who is lovely. The accommodation is cute, clean, and as described. The neighborhood is beautiful, there is a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Breakfast is perfect, varied with quality products. I can only recommend this place.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Astrid and Thijs are fantastic hosts – incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. They gave us lots of great tips on what to see and do in the area, which really enhanced our trip. Their beautiful garden is the perfect place to relax. The accommodation was spotless and flawless. We truly had a great time and would love to come back!

Second visit and it did Not disappoint. Liesbeth and her husband a friendly and relaxed hosts. Nice private garden setting with all kinds of flowers, veggies and fruit. Forest in the backyard for nice hikes. Great value for money.

Had a lovely (and rainy!) evening :) Even more amenities than expected and felt extremely comfortable. Loved meeting the chickens and the breakfast display. Jaap was very kind and we appreciate his time and help. Thank you for helping us start our Dutch adventure peacefully!

Our stay in this house was wonderful. Everything was spotless, comfortable and well decorated. We especially enjoy the tranquility of the environment and its excellent situation to visit Amsterdam and the beautiful surrounding villages. The host was very friendly and attentive, with immediate response and giving us many recommendations to see and how to move around the area. No doubt an experience we would not repeat. I was really touched by the host's kindness. Thanks to the host who came out to greet me in person and warmly welcomed me when I checked in, the start of my trip was even more pleasant. The bedding was very comfortable, so I was able to sleep deeply, and the cleanliness of the entire accommodation was very clean and great. The apartment was exactly as described – clean, modern and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable. We especially liked the quiet garden and the relaxed surroundings - perfect for switching off. Since we had the bikes with us, we were able to do some nice tours. Amsterdam is about 45 minutes away by car. Daniëlla and her family are very nice and we thank them for the warm hospitality.

The AirBnB is super modern and perfectly equipped! The hosts are super friendly and are quickly available for questions. You will also receive some recommendations in advance. We had a great time! Haarlem and Amsterdam can also be reached quickly by car or public transport.

The three of us stayed there for 4 nights and felt very comfortable. Communication with Jesse was fast, friendly and smooth. It is a bungalow at the back of the house with a small private terrace. The location is optimal if you want to explore the surrounding area. The beach is 5-10 minutes away by bike. Shopping is also nearby. Leiden is only a good 10+ km away, Amsterdam can be reached in about 40 minutes by car.

The accommodation is very close to the beach and nature reserve. We had very relaxing days there and were able to use the terrace with a beautiful garden.

We really loved Emmanuelle's place - we absolutely recommend staying! It is very spacious and wonderfully decorated - lots of interesting furniture, fixtures, and decor. The beds were so comfy and the place is very clean. We only stayed one night and it was rainy the whole time so I can't wait to go again when we can stay longer and enjoy the animals and outside areas too. Communication with Emmanuelle was always a pleasure.

Where to start...first of all, the contact with Kristel and Frans was extremely easy and proactive. They gave us a very friendly welcome and made us feel at home. The accommodation itself is a cute little place for two people. Everything you need was there. We also spent a lot of time with Frans and had really great conversations. Kristel and Frans were very open and accommodating. We didn't lack for anything. They gave us tips on where we could eat well, what we could see and where we could fish well. We would particularly like to emphasize Frans sincerity and his positive and funny manner. Talking to him was never boring and always funny! Our highlight was on the last evening. Frans invited us to go fishing on the boat. We spent 3 hours on the water with Frans and had a really great time. We will be back and will bring a crate of beer next time. Thank you two, we won't forget you.

The apartment offers everything you need for a short trip. It is very clean, nicely furnished and very centrally located, so you can reach all the rivers. Even with a baby, the apartment is perfect (even the steep staircase is not a problem) and we would book it again at any time. Communication was always super nice and answers were quick.
