Holiday Home Mila is located in the coast village Egmond aan Zee, 50 meters from the dunes and 100 meters from the center. The beach is 300 meters away from the house. In the village there are several good restaurants, bars and lovely terraces. The supermarket is 200 meters away. The center of the cozy cheese town of Alkmaar can easily be reached by bus with 20 minutes. A day in Amsterdam is also a possibility. From the train station (Heiloo or Alkmaar) every half hour a train goes to A'dam.

This holiday house in the back of my garden offers the excellent retreat if you want to experience the beauty of the Dutch dunes and beaches and escape the hectic city life. The house is located in a quiet street, walking distance from the beach (10 min) . Egmond aan Zee is one of the most beautiful areas in The Netherlands only 30 minutes by train from Amsterdam (station Heiloo is 5 km from Egmond aan Zee). Excellent for hikes and cycling. There is a storage for the bikes with the house.

A conveniently and centrally located Summer house in Egmond aan Zee with the possibility to use an outdoor sauna. ( on request)in winter months, from November to March Within 2 minutes you are on the beach and in the cozy fishing village with the many shops and terraces . The cottage has been totally renovated in spring of 2022 and equipped with underfloor heating, heat pump and solar panels.

Writers' cabin/holiday home 'Little Hemingway' is ideal for lazy reading holidays. Our cottage has plenty of books in the closet! There is also an opportunity to write. If you don't want all this, enjoy the peace, the sea and the dunes in our picturesque Egmond. Our cottage is small but very warm and cosy, and has a ditto attic. 3 minutes walk from the beach. Please note: from 1 July to 1 September, the cottage can only be booked per week, from Saturday to Saturdays.

Through your own entrance you enter the cozy living room with 3 sofa with stool, dining table with 4 chairs, kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs there is a bedroom with sink, double bed (140 x 200) and a single bed (80 x 200). Our cottage has its own terrace with table and 4 chairs and is equipped with a sunshade.

The small terraced house is located in the second row of a nice residential area. In front of the actual entrance door is a small lockable and non-visible veranda area. This could be used to park bicycles or similar. In the house, you can expect a very clean and nicely furnished living/cooking/eating area with an attached small, modern bathroom. A relatively steep staircase leads to the sleeping area with a small dressing room. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and we lacked nothing. We cooked and prepared breakfast every day in the well-equipped kitchen. A Senseo coffee machine, a microwave oven combination and a gas stove as well as a spacious refrigerator with freezer compartment make this very possible. Also available are a toaster and kettle as well as kitchen towels, dishwashing detergent, various knives and more. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and is equipped with a small hair dryer. Everything 100%!

The apartment has an excellent location, directly on the dunes, close to the beach and quickly in the village. We were greeted very nicely at the agreed time, received some information and were warmly said goodbye to at check-out. It is nicely furnished and was perfect for the two of us with a dog. We will be happy to come back. Thank you! :-)

We had a fantastic time staying at Marleen's studio. The space was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for cooking and relaxation. The little backyard was perfect for safely storing our bike. The location is brilliant just a 2-minute walk to the beach and 5 minutes to the town center. Marleen was a wonderful host: welcoming, responsive, and attentive to our needs. She ensured we had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We will definitely visit again!

Because we liked it so much the first time, we went back to “De Nollen” for a weekend. Everything was fine again and Elvira is a friendly, unobtrusive and yet very helpful host. The location is nice for excursions in the beautiful surroundings. We would vacation here again anytime.
