Our apartment with separate entrance is located in the new annex of our detached house in the quiet center of Bannewitz. Within walking distance you can reach the bakery (open on Sundays!), supermarket and public transport to Dresden in 5 minutes. This takes you in about 20 minutes to the city center to the Frauenkirche, Semperoper, Zwinger or to the main train station Dresden. From there you can also start a trip to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains or to Meissen. Hiking or biking trails are right outside the front door.

Just relax and unwind: The open-plan living and dining area offers a cosy atmosphere for cooking and enjoying in the kitchen, looking into the fire of the cast-iron stove or reading a good book in the cosy reading bunk. With a far-reaching view of rocks and forests, you can dream of the next hikes in the large double bed under the roof. After long tours, your tired feet can recover under the starry sky in the warm hot tub or in the log sauna.

Apartment Schwalbennest in Hillehof

The Schwalbennest apartment is located in the side wing of the Hillehof in the Ostrau district. From here you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. The balcony offers direct access to the garden. The apartment was completely renovated in 2023 and equipped with underfloor heating in all rooms. From the slightly higher bed (about 1.00 m) you can enjoy the view. If you are traveling with your dog, there is a sleeping niche for it under the bed.

A warm welcome! In painstaking work, the old extended attic (from the 1960s) was redesigned in 2025. New windows and doors, new bathroom, new floor, new insulation, new ceiling... everything was redone. Lots of wood, old beams were cleaned, a small retreat created, cozy, stylish, state of the art. As early as the beginning of the 20th century, our vacation home was considered a popular overnight destination (Logis – Villa Olympia). As part of a loving renovation, the villa was repaired and a total of 5 apartments were created, which invite you to relax and feel good.
