Farmstay holiday rentals in Cumberland River

I was wanting something more unusual and Joy's place fit the bill. The front door looked out over the fields and had a picnic table to sit outside while enjoying the peaceful, relaxing surroundings. There was also a bench under a tree, and she told us we were welcome to use the gazebo and the swing. The back door went out into the barn (which was clean). The apartment was clean and comfortable. Joy asked the time we might arrive, and gave us a call to make sure we were in okay and that everything was satisfactory. Joy's place is also nicely located with short drives to several state parks with trails and waterfalls. If I am back in the area, I hope the bed and barn will be available!

Bill was an amazing host, the pics do not do it justice. We were greeted by the welcoming committee or as I lovingly refered to them a gang of attack chickens. They were super cute and friendly. We spent most of our time on the lake fishing during the day and fished the pond in the evening. just a great place to relax and get away from everything and connect with nature.

Absolutely LOVED staying in the farmhouse with my daughter and our 2 dogs. The farmhouse has its own charm . I’ve never been in such cute house with unique architecture. House is very spacious and it fit our needs. House is surrounded by beautiful fields of corn and greenery . It’s very peaceful and quiet . Our dogs loved playing outside so much that they woke us up way earlier than usual because they wanted to play in the grass and run freely. We had a lot of fun! Hopefully will get a chance to return someday! Host was very attentive and friendly!

A wonderful peaceful place to stay just south of the Kentucky border surrounded by fields of corn and wheat. Great coffee machine and nice and spacious.

David was very welcoming. The cabin is beautiful, and the surroundings are magnificent. The animals are cute and friendly. I highly recommend booking this cabin. You won't regret it.

The place was beautiful and serene. We got to spend some time petting the barn cats and dog and really enjoyed the cows. We were even lucky enough to be there the day a new calf was born and got to see him only a few hours after he entered the world. You’re on a dairy farm so yes there is an odor, but we didn’t notice it in the apartment at all, only outside. But you probably want to keep the doors/windows closed. A little bit of noise at night (I think it was the automatic milking robots? Which were very cool to watch!) but again you’re on a functioning farm, so you should expect some noises. Kenny was super nice and eager to share his passion of farming and details about the place. They aren’t kidding when they say cell service is bad. We had spotty at best (T-Mobile) and the internet was a bit hit or miss sometimes too, so if you want to stream some shows you might want to download them ahead of time. But we were there for the experience, not TV. Would highly recommend staying here!

We recently stayed at this amazing cabin in the woods, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The property is absolutely beautiful — it sits on tons of acres, so it feels super private and peaceful. Waking up to the sounds of nature and having so much space to explore was so much fun!!

We loved our stay in such a beautiful place, we had everything we needed and uber to downtown was so quick to arrive and just a 20 minute trip.

I wish there were more stars to give! We could not have had a better experience. Grace and Martin are amazing hosts and a joy to be around. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Loved getting to know all of the animals! Their dogs are so sweet even my son who is afraid of dogs started to relax around them. If you have a chance to create some art with Grace you should take it!! My 6 and 7 year old are showing everyone they meet their beautiful pictures. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had the most amazing stay at Dawne’s Firefly Bungalow! From the moment we arrived, Dawne and her husband were so kind and welcoming—it truly felt like visiting family. The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning landscaping that made for such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights for us was all the sweet animals on the property—friendly, adorable, and a big hit with our daughter! She especially loved the slide and spent hours playing and enjoying the outdoors. It was such a joy to watch her have so much fun. The location is perfect—just a short drive to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg is nearby as well. Despite being so close to everything, the bungalow is tucked away in a quiet, serene setting that gave us the best of both worlds. Highly recommend staying here!

Boone’s Farm was a great place to stay! It was private and tucked into a natural setting. We felt very safe and at home. The place was very conveniently located to many activities and Frank’s recommendations to restaurants and activities were spot on! Frank was great at communicating prior to arrival and at the conclusion of the trip! I would highly recommend staying at Boone’s farm!

The cabin is very clean, comfortable, and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay. We hope to return in the future. We enjoyed feeding the animals and sitting on the deck.

This was one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. The farmhouse is so cute and cozy with plenty of room for our family of 4. My 4 year old had so much fun playing in the treehouse, and we all enjoyed feeding the goats and chickens and watching the cows graze. If we're ever in the area again, we will absolutely stay here. Perfect peaceful little spot, we loved it! everything was clean and tidy, and decorated beyond our standards! This place quite literally has everything tucked into one, pictures don’t do justice. BOOK IT. Hosts definitely went above and beyond all around!! - Bonus that you get to see the animals from a distance while being in the hot tub, too cute ☺️

Jack and Maureen were great hosts! Cabin is in a very private, woodsy location. It had everything we needed. Plus the sweet bonus of homemade almond bread and fresh eggs! The cabin was so clean and welcoming - a wonderful place to rest! It is very close to several hiking trails and Cumberland Falls (only 5-10 minutes away). The fully functional kitchen makes it easy to just stay at the cabin and rest like we did -a lot. We picked up groceries in Corbin, but there are also Dollar General stores and Bell's convenience store between the interstate and cabin. We highly recommend! We are so thankful for our time at the Bear's Den.

The Bear Wallow Farmhouse was the perfect place to spend a couple days and get away from the big city. Clayton and Maria were very welcoming and made us feel at home in the Beautiful Kentucky countryside. Loved seeing the sunrise, the sunsets, and the stars at night.

Beautiful place! we had a great time, it was very relaxing! the mountain views around the area were breathtaking! the cabin was cute and very comfortable. we had fun watching wildlife outside too, had a curious raccoon come say hello by the deck window 😄 and the hosts were friendly and very helpful with a house guild of things to do around the area. 10/10 great time!

We enjoyed our stay. It was just a quick over night as we were driving through. Beds were comfortable. My kids loved the snack bowl! We will definitely choose this place again.

Very nice stay. Cute farm and grounds. Volunteers are around to help at the farm Thursday-Sunday. I enjoyed seeing people help at the farm getting it ready for planting. No one bothered us or got in our way. Just mentioning incase if someone wanted total privacy would not want anyone to be surprised. We had a really great stay. Nice location, good places to get some food in the next town.

This was the perfect getaway home for a trip to Fall Creek Falls. Such a peaceful and beautiful place surrounded by open fields and woods. The porch on the front and back was so great for just sitting and relaxing while enjoying the outdoor setting. Inside they had everything you could need for an extended stay. We stayed 3 nights and ate every meal there. The home was so clean and pristine throughout. Visited Fall Creek Falls every day for hiking with drives there less than 20 min. I can’t recommend this home enough. I would definitely come back. Thanks so much for everything. Lee

The perfect place for a relaxing, low-key girls trip - with animals!! The property is absolutely beautiful, and the host is responsive and considerate. The couple living in the same building was really sweet and gave us driving instructions as soon as we arrived. We will definitely be recommending this property to friends and family!

We were able to meet Sherri in person at the property and it’s always a pleasure to meet the owners. The house has everything you need to be like home. We were in town to meet up with family for an adoption party. This little space feels like your driving in the middle of no where then you are greeted with that farm life atmosphere it was a great get away with a bonus you get to feed the animals and hold them if your not scared. It was a short stop but it was a experience that my boys will not forget they all picked up a baby goat. The cows were really cute and the relaxing walk out to the pond was great. Highly recommend for a mental reset get away.
