Catherine and Michel are available and very kind. We chose their outbuilding as part of the FIBD. Although a little out of the way, their cozy and warm accommodation was quite accessible using the buses (15 min from Angouleme train station) throughout the festival. A big thank you!

Super apartment in a very quiet part of Saintes, at only a 10 minutes walk from the historic center. Parking right in front of the house! The apartment is super spacious and practical, and the deco is top. We loved the outside space where we took our breakfast in the morning sun. Very relaxing!! Very clean and functional accommodation. It is well located with buses leading to downtown Angoulême, which can also be accessible on foot (if you don't mind walking) I would definitely recommend this place for your stay in Angouleme

very responsive host. my car broke down in Saintes, and I was able to book his apartment in 30 minutes. he also contacted me quickly after I forgot my wallet in his apartment. the apartment is good

Beautiful apartment close to the historic center and shops. Quiet neighborhood during the WK August 15, for those who appreciate tranquility in the songs of the doves.

Sinead’s house was delightful and very well placed for a trip to Cognac and the region. The house was immaculate with beautiful quality furniture, textiles and bedding. There were also lots of books for our son to read and beautiful quiet courtyard. She answered all our questions and gave tips. Sinead and her daughter were very friendly and suggested a trip to Base plein air Andre Mermet where we stayed all day dipping in the river. Thank you Jaspal

Five star cottage! in a quiet, beautiful village with everything you might need on hand. A local corner shop where you can reserve your daily baguette, a coffee and flower shop, a deli, a pizzeria, and a very special French restaurant. Simon's place is very spacious with lots of character. A secluded sunny courtyard for secure parking, four different places where you can sit and eat outside, including a first floor verandah where you can sit and watch the sun set over the local countryside. Simon left so many welcome gifts for us, we felt overwhelmed! Comfy beds and sofas, quality bedding and furniture, cosy place even in February . Lots to explore in the area, although we enjoyed wandering around the village exploring the pottery shops and the local history. You will need a car as the nearest large supermarket is 15 mins away.

We had a great time at Andrea's house. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The house is tastefully decorated and comfortable to stay in. Andrea's explanations allow for a simple and self check-in. We had a pleasant time. I recommend it.

We had a great stay at Isobels beautiful house. The house is well laid out with an open plan down stairs and open kitchen which makes it a sociable place to cook and a cooler space to hang out when it's too hot outside. The bedrooms are rooms are clean and comfortable especially the master bedroom. The garden is lovely surrounded by sunflowers and vines. The pool is small but we didn't have a problem with this with 6 of us. there is plenty of outdoor furniture, sun loungers and shady spots too. The town is about 1 mile away, there were some bikes there which we used to cycle every morning through beautiful countryside to get our bread from the patisserie. once you head down the hill to the marina there are a great selection of cafes, bars and restaurants. This place and the area are highly recommended.

Emmanuelle and her husband are very pleasant, full of advice. The accommodation is perfect with its two beautiful terraces. I highly recommend and go see the Chai François Peyrot 😉

Raphaël is a very welcoming host and attentive to the care of guests. Raphael is also very responsive to requests during the stay. As a result, we had a great stay in Angouleme, especially since the accommodation is very good, spacious and clean. It corresponds in every respect to the description. We'll be happy to go back!

Jem's place is fantastic. It's rustic and quiet and was the perfect place to rest and recuperate while also giving us the opportunity to go on some great day trips to surrounding towns and villages.
