Holiday rentals with a pool in Cognac

What a beautiful home and a fabulous pool , many an evening was spent around it , we were totally relaxed after our stay and would highly recommend Our hosts were really accommodating and vet helpful and at the end of a message and were quick to respond . The area was lovely with fields around and easy to travel to different locations A fabulous family holiday was had by us all

What incredible hosts!….full stop!! …..we returned to this amazing gite after staying there 8 years previously (with different owners) knowing how fab the place was The gite was as beautiful as we remembered with 2 generous bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms…..lovely king sized bed with fab mattress, sheets & pillows (a good sign of quality and so important for a truly relaxing break) The generous family living room with TV, satellite & great WiFi alongside 2 double sofas & dining room table was just perfect Our wonderful hosts Paul and Emma checked in with us daily & suggested some fabulous local places to eat, visit and shop - booking us into their favourite fish restaurant in Meschers-sur-Gironde….wow what a lunch that was! We enjoyed a drink & chat with them on our last night by the pool and had a delightful time in their company - if you truly want super relaxed but attentive hosts in a stunning countryside gite this place is a must! We can’t wait to return!

Our stay at Celine's, in the middle of winter and in cold weather, was very enjoyable. The style of decoration and the wood burning stove brought a particularly warm touch to the cottage. Everything matched the photos. Celine's welcome, despite our late arrival, was very nice. We are delighted with our stay and recommend it to guests.

Lovely renovated accomodation and Kerstie was an amazing host.

Absolutely perfect for our party of 7 with two small children. The gite was clean with decent sized rooms, four bedrooms, three bathroooms, kitchen, dining room, dining terrace. Kitchen was very well equipped. Outside was a dining terrace for 9 with BBQ. The shared pool was excellent with sun loungers for everyone on the site. The large garden had children's swings/slides, bikes, table tennis, football and badminton. There were so many toys and games available (indoor and outdoor) that our children were never bored. Isabelle and Sebastien were very friendly, helpful and even gifted us a good bottle of wine on arrival. The gite is out in the countryside and 3 miles from Mortagne-sur-Gironde which had a great boulangerie, small coop and a pizza restaurant. Big supermarkets are 13-15 minutes away. Beaches at Messchers (15 minutes) and St Georges du Didonne (20 minutes) . The gite terraces are side by side with thin separating hedges, so a quiet time can't be absolutely guaranteed.

Stayed here for the weekend as wedding nearby. Place great, spotlessly clean and good amenities

The house is totally up to the description. The layout and interior services have been neat, the kitchen is very well provided for real kitchen, qualitative bedding and the clean spa/sport area! Nothing to say. The environment well oriented for the sun, not overlooked, is peaceful. To get around the car is required. Marion was always available and responsive to our requests. You can book without a second thought 👍

Great stay at Monique and her husband's mill. We were very warmly welcomed by Monique's husband, with a visit to this pretty estate. Everything is thought out to have a nice time cutting off the world with his/her partner:) Thanks again

Excellent accommodation with a really pleasant setting. Very well located quietly but a short drive to shops. The house is very large which makes it possible not to step on it even if there are many of us and is much more equipped than indicated, it is very appreciated. Very pleasant heated pool also and not overlooked. Stephane is very friendly, clear and very square explanations for the functioning of the house. No complaints. We recommend!
