Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ars-en-Ré

Typical, pleasant, spacious and quiet house for a family stay on Île de Ré. Ideal for visiting the island and its surroundings. Close to the beach and the couarde market. Note that parking for a vehicle is on the street facing the house, so can be problematic during busy periods to park more than one vehicle. Effective communication with the host, very responsive in case of solicitation.

Our Host, Celia, was pleasant, accommodating, available, good advice and punctual. Stay, too short for 2 nights, spent with 7 adults and 1 baby, in a very nice and well-equipped house (Baby essentials were present As agreed, upon arrival). Clean, spacious house, arranged with taste and originality, where you feel good and where it's good to stay. Good bedding. The beach located about, 10 min walk is beautiful and the water is beautiful blue and green colors. 5 sea baths in 2 days, although the sea temperature was between 15 and 16 degrees.

Pleasant stay in this house, the neighborhood is quiet and the environment pleasant. Sandra met all our expectations. The house is very well decorated, consistent with the photos and the garden is very pleasant and well wooded. Bikes are a plus!

We had a pleasant stay at Sylvia and Alain's. We were 6 adults and 3 children and the accommodation offers everything you need. The big plus, in our opinion, is the terrace and the outside, secure, pleasant and in the shade, to enjoy the beautiful spring and summer days. The city is quickly accessible by bike. Alain and Sylvia are discreet and yet caring hosts. We recommend the address 😁

this little house has everything you need. Its small garden with covered terrace, its geographical location... This is our 3rd stay in this small house.

Celine’s house was lovely and extremely well located. The lovely restaurants of La Flotte and the local market were a short walk, and we loved biking around the island. The house itself is gorgeous. We will definitely return!

From the moment we booked we felt looked after by Maureen. Valerie was a real star, waiting to greet us and show us around. Maureen's house is very much a home from home. The local beach is very near and the town and extensive food market is 10 minutes walk away, with the harbour a great place to grab a bite to eat or a coffee whilst watching the world go by. Can't wait to go back.

Stunning studio in a perfect location. Just what we needed for 48hrs in St Martin. Stephanie’s recommendations for a restaurant and advice re getting to and from the airport were spot on. Highly recommended !

We had a lovely stay at Johann's! The accommodation is ideally located to do everything on foot in St Martin de Ré, Johann is very friendly and the accommodation was perfectly as described, we will be back!

A very nice apartment overlooking the harbour entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The accommodation is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and the city centre of La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The accommodation is also within walking distance of the train station.

Very clean accommodation nice for 2, close to La Rochelle, a very beautiful city, plenty to see. Tanguy is very welcoming, kind and available, a nice meeting. Very good stay, we'll be back. David and Laetitia

A small apartment where all comforts are present (very clean and well furnished), very well located in the center of ST Martin. We did everything on foot from the accommodation. Very friendly welcome from Sylvia who gave us very clear instructions to find the place and park. We have very good memories of this short stay at Sylvia's. We will be happy to return.

Everything was perfect. Sylvie is very kind with a very warm welcome. For your information, brioche, fruit juice, tea or infusion, coffee, sugar are at our disposal, convenient for the 1st day. We'll be happy to go back.

Excellent location: The accommodation is very clean and functional. Dominique is welcoming and accommodating. Special mention to the bedding of great comfort. Ideally located, the residence is very pleasant, Saint Martin en Ré is a charming village. I highly recommend it.

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the island of Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental right next door, friendly). The little extra is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

An amazing place to stay in the best location to be honest!

2nd stay in this residence, but changing apartments this time, even arriving late no worries to find, and being able to park right in front is clearly a plus with luggage!! The apartment is great, well decorated, the bed super comfortable We had a problem with the pool and the problem was solved in the hours that followed, we will come back without problem for a future stay!!!

We had a lovely stay at Ingrid's apartment. It is located close to the port. Facing to the west, it is sunny at the end of the day . It has a parking space and bike storage in a secure residence (a big plus for a stay on Île de Ré where the interest is to get around by bike). It is well equipped and very clean. Bedding is good. Ingrid is friendly and available. Good location!

We had a great stay, with our 3-month-old son and our dog. The accommodation is really 2 steps from the ocean, and close to beach shops (shops, bar, restaurant, etc...) which we really liked. Nathalie is very responsive: we thank her for the speed of these responses to the message. Small accommodation, but it has everything you need when you go away for a few days of change of scenery.
