I took a group of teenagers to the treehouse for my son 16th birthday. It was perfect as I had my own bedroom and they got to stay together. There was lots for them to do but also a great time to unplug and just spend quality time together and not stay on their phones like they usually do.

I had an amazing stay at this cozy Airbnb—truly a serene and peaceful spot to get away and unplug from the hustle and bustle. The location is fantastic, especially if you love hiking, as there are great trails just a short drive away. Waking up to the beautiful views was such a treat, and the cozy spaces inside made it easy to relax and unwind after a day outdoors. The kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals, which added to the comfort of the stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to recharge in nature without sacrificing convenience!

We had a great time in the Pete Nelson treehouse. The treehouse had everything we needed and more. We had a great time exploring the grounds, had a delicious dinner in quaint, nearby Maysville, and relaxed in the evening watching a movie on the projector screen! The bed was very comfortable and our daughter slept very soundly on the couch downstairs 😊. This was a perfect little getaway—thank you!

I sort of selfishly don't want to write this because I feel I found a secret gem in this place but they deserve your business so: FABULOUS in every way! Sheila and her crew are pro-level. I felt totally comfortable from the moment I booked until the moment I left. It is a magical space and they are lovely, lovely people. They were available, helpful and friendly but also gave us our space. It was a COLD, rainy May weekend but so unbelievable cozy and we still effortlessly had the best time. I am having trouble imagining a season that would not be perfect here. Would go back, 100%.

Dawne was a wonderful host. She was very accommodating and anytime we had questions she responded with a timely response. Our girls loved the animals and mini golf on her property. She has a very lovely peaceful property. Our family truly enjoyed our experience.

We had a great stay at the tree house. It was peaceful and the perfect place to relax. The signs around the property added a nice, personal touch. The bed was really comfortable, and there were plenty of fun games to enjoy during our downtime. Just a note: there are limited cooking utensils, so if you plan on making a meal, come prepared. Also, if you want to stream shows or movies, you’ll need to bring a hot spot since there’s no Wi-Fi. Overall, it was a wonderful and refreshing experience.

Lisa was the sweetest host - and I just can't stop gushing about the Perch to my friends! I spent the weekend there for a surprise birthday retreat with my partner, and it was amazing. It's very private - secluded, quiet, and peaceful. You want to bring everything you'll need because getting to a store requires a good drive. But, we packed all our supplies, including firewood, and snuggled in for the weekend. We arrived on Friday and left on Sunday (with a late check out - thank you!), but I could have stayed for a week. We cooked, sat on the deck and looked out at the water and listened to the birds for hours. We drank wine and played games, grilled steaks, sat outside by a fire, made smores and just enjoyed our time together. The Perch is so comfortable - all the amenities you need! The bed is soft, and we slept so well! We didn't do anything on the water, but it's a great workout to walk down to the dock and another peaceful place to sit and reflect. Thank you, Lisa! Lovely time!

Woah to be honest such a peaceful and magical stay! The house was cozy, clean, and beautifully designed, surrounded by nature, but with all the comforts I needed. It felt like a true escape. Everything was just as described (if not better). I’d definitely come back—highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a unique spot!

Amazing place to visit. Very peaceful and gorgeous land. Caught a large bass on the lake, walked the trails, sat in the hot tub and brushed the horses. Definitely recommend coming here if you want a peaceful getaway.

If only all AirBnbs could be this awesome! Donny was by far the best host we’ve ever had (and we travel a lot). The treehouse feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere, but it’s less than a mile walk through a peaceful neighborhood to Main Street with a fantastic pizza place, coffee shop, old school hardware shop/general store, antiques, etc. The space itself was very well designed and luxurious for a cabin surrounded by woods (air conditioned, WiFi strong enough to do video calls, comfy couches, etc). There are hammocks, a fire pit, outdoor and indoor games, and the best outdoor shower ever! It was the perfect relaxing time away. We highly recommend this gem of a stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Treehaus! It was very relaxing, and was such a beautiful/unique property to stay at. You can tell how much care Jeff and Amie have put into their property, and continue to do so. The location is also great, as it is close to a lot of other activities. You have the privacy and peace of the woods, but the ability to explore other areas of nearby Atlanta as well. I highly recommend booking a stay here if you are visiting the area, you will have a great time 😊!

Just book it! Such a peaceful get away. Place Is impeccable and feels like a perfect home sweet home. Very easy to find and the perfect size to go as a couple. Very tastefully decorated and nice to have those warm bathroom floors. 100% would recommend.

The treehouse was such a relaxing mini vacation spot! We arrived to find a lovely welcome basket for our anniversary on the counter and a welcome book for the property. The stream and outside deck were better than the photos and we enjoyed eating dinner sitting on the deck. We met Heather and was friendly and super helpful with local recommendations! We have already recommended to a few friends and would love to return in the future:)

A grown-up fantasy of a tree house! If you have ever dreamed of a tree house adventure -- book this now! Spacious, whimsical, beautiful, quirky, well-appointed, comfortable, a great adventure, (and sturdy). Gretchen's hospitality is also noteworthy. We arrived late at night, and she ensured that the walkway and bridge were lit with mini-lights, with lanterns and small lights around the pond, and twinkling in the branches above the tree house. We opened the door to lanterns lit around the room and lovely new age music playing. A warm welcome! The Lord of the Rings touches were fun--sculptures, books, games, and design features & treasures around the tree house. We enjoyed our dinner and s'mores on the swings by the fire pit, and watching the birds & creek from our tree-top view. The outdoor kitchen and bathroom were well-appointed, clean, and easy to use. There are 2 beds on the main level and 2 on the upper level (fun to access by climbing either of the two ladders).

This place was truly the best. if you want something extremely relaxing with a beautiful water stream sound and a nice view I would suggest this place.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and they made it so special for us. They were very thoughtful to make it cozy for us and decorated the place specifically for our anniversary. The treehouse is beautiful and a unique place. Hendersonville is a beautiful little town with great food and hiking trials.

Greatly enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Plenty of spots to sit, relax and look at the view. Especially loved the screened in porch. Food delivery can be tricky for drivers to find, be clear with instructions for them. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for two nights and we have never been somewhere more quiet. On the last day it rained, and the sound of the rain on the roof was even more peaceful. We built our first campfire (thanks to Pat and Howard) and it turned out to be a success. Pat greeted us upon arrival and showed us where to go and when we got to the site, she showed us how everything works. SideNote: The toilet and shower is outside, and the water is the same temperature as the air. Lol Coming from the city, we were very happy for the quiet. Sitting down by the campfire by the lake tied everything together perfectly.
