Guesthouse holiday rentals in Appalachian Mountains

This was our first time at the Keuka Lake Beach house cottage. It is exactly as described in listing. Rob greeted us upon our arrival , gave us a quick tour of the cottage and let us know he was just a text away if we needed anything or had any questions. The cottage setting was so relaxing… our favorite part of our vacation was just sitting on the dock and porch deck reading, drawing, and just listening to the gentle lake water sounds. The setting and aura of the cottage on the lake made it a little hard to leave to explore and enjoy the area! We did manage to leave and check out the area’s towns, trails and small stores. We also enjoyed walks along the road right outside of the cottage which has minimal traffic . There is also a wooded trail right across the street from the cottage . Our Golden Retriever also had a great time relaxing and swimming. He made a new friend in Rob’s Labrador, QB(?) We would definitely return to this cottage and highly recommend it.

What a treasure! My mom and I got away for a couple days at Jenn’s place (a wellness sanctuary) and it was so peaceful and lovely, despite the rain we ran into! The place is tranquil both inside and out (a backyard meadow you can frolic in!), and the amenities are wonderful. Fresh bread, eggs, cream (dairy and non-dairy!), butter were all delicious, and I was so obsessed with the local teas and other goodies that I had to go visit the local apothecary that sold them. Jenn and her partner were super responsive to every need, bringing us eye masks and extra cream! Bonus - book a massage with Jenn. Seriously one of the best I’ve ever had. We had a wonderful time, thank you! Hope to be back!

Brenda's cottage was absolutely adorable! Sparkling clean with a well-equipped kitchen, and attention to every detail, including toiletries and incidentals. Brenda gave us excellent recommendations on great restaurants in town. Just wish our stay could have been longer to try more of them. It's a 15-minute drive to downtown New Bern, so we really appreciated the coffee and snacks in the morning. I can't think of any way we could have been better received.

Myself, my partner and our two fur babies loved Julia’s! The “little house” was our home away from home for a few days! It was the most quaint and tranquil cottage for my family to recharge! We had two nights of deep sleep as the bed is like a cloud! My partner took full advantage of the porch swing, clawfoot tub and our girls loved the ample acreage and privacy the little house provided. My family also loved our time poolside. It was tidy, clean and private. It was truly a place to have your morning coffee with zen! Julia was very accommodating to our needs throughout the stay, hospitable and responsive. We go out of our way to find privacy and somewhere that’s great with our fur babies. Julia and the little house delivered just that- We would highly recommend any stay with Julia and to experience this property for yourself!

What a great place to stay! We had a really good time at Little Ben. Beautiful view from the nice decorated house. Had everything we needed and more. Amy is a great host. Location couldn’t be better, with all kind of restaurant/coffeshops within a few minutes walking distance. But the most stunning is the view.

This is by far the most gorgeous Airbnb I have ever stayed at. David and Janet are gracious and thoughtful hosts and it’s clear that every detail was curated for the magical experience we had. David met us in the driveway and told us about their animals before giving us a tour of the gorgeous and clean guesthouse. We loved feeding the goats and cooling off in the pool. David even provided a raft for our baby to enjoy as well! The photos truly do not do this property justice - it is a true oasis. Thank you for your hospitality, we hope to be back soon!

Quiet, clean perfect for our stay

This cottage was the perfect way to experience Vermont. It is close to a lot of farms you can shop from directly.

Erika and family were extremely friendly and very accommodating. She was happy to allow me in early because of some flight scheduling issues. The property is stunning and serene, absolutely a tranquil and relaxing feel!

Bluebird is truly a vacation paradise. The perfect Serenity from the craziness of the wedding weekend. Well appointed space and kitchen. Loved our kayaking adventure day and campfire nights. Truly a relaxing atmosphere! Great host too, we felt very welcome!

The cottage is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. It was clean and had everything needed for a short stay. Great place to stay if you are in the area for Spooky Nook as we were (about a 15 min drive). Kathryn and Martha were perfect hosts and great with communication. I highly recommend staying here.

Nancy was so helpful and kind through our whole stay. She was sweet enough to pull our toys for our son, help us set up things, and meet any accommodations we wanted. She made the place feel like our own home. The place was so clean and looked just like the photos. You are tucked away on the end of a road and have a gorgeous view of the water. Such a peaceful stay! Would highly recommend to others!

Great views and beautiful property. Short drive to downtown. Super comfy sleeping space. We had great weather for a swim in the pool (with a scenic view!) The hosts were very welcoming. We also loved the binoculars in the cottage it was a special touch for wildlife watching!

I messaged Kevin on a whim as I was in a pinch to find somewhere to stay for a last minute work trip and Kevin saved the day! His place was absolutely wonderful! It had all of the amenities and was just a short walk to many restaurants and coffee shops. The neighborhood was absolutely darling! I will be back in Indiana for work in a few short months and would most certainly book again!!

Pam’s place is absolutely amazing! A short drive to downtown but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for our stay!

This place was fabulous! Great view and quiet and loved the balcony! This place was clean and out of a magazine with all the touches! Highly recommend.

Beyond our expectations! The cottage has plenty of room, private and peaceful listening to the birds. The view of the lake is gorgeous, Kathleen is an excellent host, and her dog "Tilly" was friendly and very entertaining. Canoe & kayaks are included which made our stay special. Wolf Lake has the cleanest water we've ever seen in the Carolina's, and we've seen many. The water is so clear, we saw countless fish (big & small) swimming below us, so fun! The location is close to Highlands & Cashiers (pronounced Cashers - who knew!), and every restaurant meal was top-notch. So much to like about this Airbnb, HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I had the pleasure of staying in Al's guesthouse while attending my bestie wedding. Immediately, as I walked into the Garden Manor I was blown away by how beautifully designed the place is. I have stayed in a plethora of AirBnBs, hotels, motels, hostels, and resorts for most of my adult traveling life and NONE have compared to the majesty of this place. I even convinced my darling brides to take a few wedding photos in the garden. Big thanks to Al for truly creating a hidden palace in CBUS.

A stunning property, very picturesque. It is apparent that Suzie and Neil really take care of their property and pay attention to details. I love that there were natural products and scents throughout the home. The beds were extremely comfortable with high quality linens, yet the bedroons would’ve been perfect with blackout shades. It took a minute to get used to the main (or suggested) entrance to be in one of the bedrooms and the living area being upstairs. Also, the cottage is between the main house of the owners and their work shed, so it didn’t feel very private. The shower was also very small for such an amazing house. But the pros definitely outweighed the cons. It was immaculate and spotless. The decor was cute and refreshing. The washer/dryer and laundry room is excellent and the clothesline was wonderful for hanging some items on a beautiful day. The kitchen is fabulous and has everything you need. Suzie and Neil are so friendly and genuinely care for their guests!

This little home was so perfect for a quiet getaway! Every detail of the home has been thought through and is incredibly cozy, peaceful, and inviting. The surrounding area is beautiful (waking up to the view of the outside is the best!) and there is a lot to do close by. The hosts were super friendly and helpful too!

We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! It was perfect for our baby and pup and close to everything! All of the extras to help minimize the travel burden were super helpful! We plan to come back and visit again soon!
