PRIVATE CAMPSITE - MINNEWASKA-GUNKS

SarahRating, 5 stars114 months ago
Alex was a wonderful host! The campsite was exactly as described and the directions were easy to follow. Alex was there when I arrived to show me around, and he even offered to help take stuff to my campsite. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

20' Canvas Bell Tent w/Sauna at Retreat Center

CharitaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
First time staying here. It's beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Friendly owners and dog (Mona). Nice fire pit to hang out. Very quiet. We stayed in the tent. Had plenty of room. Bring your own headlamps (flashlights) so you can walk around at night. Tent will need a lamp or your headlamps. There is no electricity, however you can go into the big kitchen area and they have charging outlets. Bathrooms were pristine and smelled really nice. Property was clean as well. Didn't see any trash on the ground. You can stay in several different places within the property. They are well spaced, so privacy is nice. They have yurts and A frame cabins. Would definitely recommend. Check their schedules because they don't always have air bnb. They're seasonal.

Campsites on the Vineyard

MeganRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Simple camping situation in a large field behind the vineyard with 4-5 other sites, spaced out, but there is no hiding from your neighbors. Two individual bathroom stall/sheds that are probably two football fields away from the campsites. You drive through a field to get to your site. Very quiet at night with beautiful star viewing. Very scenic and clean property. Harry also provides lots of firewood. He was easy to communicate with and was very friendly.

Pine Haven Tree Tentsite at Camp Earth Connection

MarkRating, 5 stars55 months ago
Really well kept beautiful area right outside of Ithaca. I would put on my list of off the beaten path gems. I was not sure what to expect, but the site and bathrooms/shower rooms were extremely clean and showers had hot running water. Susan is very organized and keeps things in a way so that your trip will go smoothly.

In the forest. Secluded. Glamping.

GraceRating, 5 stars18 months ago
Great stay at Stephen’s. He advised us not to use our non 4WD vehicle to get up to the site but we tried anyway because we arrived after dark. He told us he could help get our car unstuck and patiently did so. It was a serene place and we tried some of his distillery items, which were tasteful and great (no hangover!!). Friendly and loving cat who follows him around as well.

Such a great experience. Peaceful and serene. I’m so glad we made the trip (6.5 hours) and definitely will be back for a longer stay! It’s so inviting, Laura was an amazing host responding quickly to inquiries. I will definitely be recommending this get away.

Sunrise Spring Glamp

AllisonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
For our daughter's 9th birthday, she wanted to go on a family camping adventure, and that was exactly what we got with this awesome little property. It was the perfect balance of comfort/amenities and rustic/close to nature. The outdoor kitchen and bathroom worked out great, both were clean and functional with all the essentials (pots/pans, utensils, plates, toiletries, towels, etc.). We had a great time around the campfire playing games (a nice variety was available inside the tent) and roasting marshmallows. The kids' favorite part was exploring all the little paths around the property and hiking down to the river. Aside from a small wasp invasion (which is kind of to be expected when you're camping!), the tent was perfectly comfortable - the beds were cozy, the linens were clean, and it was decorated super cute. It felt like everything had been thought of. We would love to come back again!!

Woodland Streamside Glamping

RobertRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Amazing! This was our first experience glamping and we were very impressed by not only the beautiful location but all of the amenities and extra "touches" which Tracy and Janine included. Tracy was so kind to have met us and explain some of the features. Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing.... Loved the running waters outside the tent. Hope to go back.

Steady Slope Hermit Thrush (Fully Supported Site)

SarahRating, 5 stars6 months ago
A wonderful weekend stay. I wish I would have booked it for longer! Peaceful and quiet time in nature. I absolutely loved having their dogs hanging around at my site and walking with me. Those sweet girls made my stay that much better. ❤️ and the sauna was very peaceful. Amanda was very proactive with communication and making sure all was in place before my stay (no cell service up at the site). I was actually over packed and took most things back to my car once I saw for myself all th amenities in place. It matched as listed, but when I over prepare for essentially winter camping. This is a perfect stay for outdoor lovers who need a quiet getaway.

Yurt/Bell Tent on our Horse farm, sleeps 2-4

JessRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had a fantastic weekend stay and we're so glad we stumbled upon this place rather than a traditional camp site. We had two groups staying in both the Bell/ Safari tent, both which were charming, spacious, super cozy & unique. Instructions were clear, even provided a video link which I appreciate. Site itself was well-maintained and surrounded by beautiful nature, offering a peaceful escape. We felt secure and safe throughout our stay, which added to our overall comfort, specially with our first time campers. The generous bags of firewood provided were incredibly convenient, making our campfires easy and stress-free. At night, we were treated to a breathtaking display of stars. A shout out to Wendi, whose warmth and attentiveness made our stay even more special. The nearby trails were perfect for exploring, and the site was secluded enough to feel like a true retreat while still being conveniently close to the city. We can’t wait to return, highly recommend this gem of a place!

Luxury Glamping, private, romantic, cozy, heated -

AlexandraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our recent stay at Ana's luxury glamping tent in Tennessee was nothing short of magical. Despite the burn ban and heavy winds, we cherished every moment of this unforgettable experience. The outdoor showers were a refreshing treat, and the delicious coffee provided each morning added a cozy start to our days. The tent itself was perfectly snug and inviting, surrounded by the stunning beauty of the scenery and peaceful environment. It’s clear that every detail was thoughtfully curated to make our stay special. We’re already looking forward to planning another trip!

The Tent on Beaver Pond

NicholasRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This is my second time returning, which is a first for me. I typically like variety but I really love this location. Private, peaceful, well maintained and scenic. The host is friendly and quick to respond to messages. Flexible check in and a clearly market spot helped to make me feel at home. The rental is just as pictured but even better when the weather cooperates. I highly recommend this rental if the accommodations meet your needs. As for me, I plan to make a third trip in a month or so which will center around the availability of this rental. 🙂

ADK Getaway | As Seen in Travel+Leisure | Glampful

PaulRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Cody's place at Glampful is nothing short of magical - It's an incredibly convenient way to go camping and the setup was beyond our expectation in every way. The scenery is amazing, the tents are immaculate and super well equipped, the main cabin has everything you need and there are a few small towns within a 20 minute drive that are great for exploring. Cody and Nate made our stay super fun and always made sure we were well taken care of. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate for a second. This is simply the best way to get out into nature in a super convenient way. Our daughter Charlie has not stopped talking about it since we left.

Site 4 at Lula

JustinRating, 5 stars7 months ago
My boys, uncle and I had a great time. The boys really enjoyed the disc golf courses on the property and the glamping experience was great. Camp site 4 was a bit of a hike to the restrooms, but we didn't mind. Everything else from the beds to amenities was top notch and we will be coming back. Thanks.

Highwood Retreat: The West Camp

AllisonRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a lovely stay! Everything about the camp was so cozy and inviting! Even with the low temperature outside, we were always nice and toasty in the tent! Katharine was very responsive and helpful with any requests we had! On our second day there, after a day of exploring, Katharine preheated the tent for our return so everything was warm when we returned! Definitely recommend the s’mores basket! It was lovely to sit around the fire and enjoy a late night treat!

Creekside Retreat Glamping Tent at New Life Farm

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved New Life Farm Glamping! The tent was so cozy and beautifully decorated, it truly felt like home away from home. The creek was relaxing and our boys really enjoyed playing in it and building with the rocks. My husband and I felt like kids again ourselves. We enjoyed the salamanders, crawdads and fish that we were able to spot under the rocks, it was a real life science lesson. We even had the chance to watch 4 fighter jets fly over one morning, incredible! Overall it was very peaceful and relaxing, the perfect way to camp with some of the comforts of home. The nights did get chilly but the wood stove provided ample heat overnight. (Honestly, I should have packed a little better for the cold.) We have already recommended this place to our friends that also enjoy adventuring and we would absolutely return for a stay.
