This 5th Wheel is like a water front Tiny Home. It is accurately described and pictured in the listing. It was clean and had everything needed for a short stay. It is in a working boat yard so it was cool seeing the owners working on and moving boats around. Also had some nice conversations with some of the people who dock their boats here. The marina itself seems very healthy. Clear water loaded with schools of bait fish so the blue heron, great egret and osprey were easy to spot. Unique and fun Airbnb. Highly recommend.

My husband and I just had our 25th Anniversary. We didn't get to celebrate it. So we went on a mini trip. We only live a half hour away. We wanted to do some things that were close and uniquely memorable. We decided to stay at your caboose and tour Pipers Museum. We ate at the Texas restaurant in downtown Lock Haven. It had a 50’s atmosphere. We also went to the Restless Oaks Restaurant, which also had a unique concept. They had chain saw sculptures of Big Foot, bears and much more. We really enjoyed our stay in the caboose and the area. Can’t wait to stay there again!

Jim was so flexible. At first I thought i was going to get there early on friday so I wrote him if I could check in early. He said I could be there at noon. We did not end up leaving texas until friday evening so we arrived around 10 am on saturday. The place looked so amazing I still wanted to stay an extra day anyway, I asked if I could add an extra day to my stay since we missed the friday (of course we meant to pay) and he said we definitely could and since we missed friday we could stay the extra day for free! I intended to pay but he said it was fine! Then he walked my kids and I through the main property. The deck, the boathouse, the lake! Wow!!!! It was so beautiful and peaceful! It was like a scene from a movie. Jim offered up sodas and waters and told us if we needed any we can get some at anytime. Walked us inside the main house and said we could get coffee and overall a great and kind host. While out he was messaging me on the AirBNB app to suggest places to visit! 🙌🏼

If you have a chance to stay at Scott’s place I would absolutely recommend you do so. This is a beautiful, peaceful very unique place - everything you need in a lovely, simple package. Also close to Grayson Highlands and Doughton State Park.

Great location for a quick family weekend get away. Loved the scenic location, wildlife, and sound of the creek from the comfy porch. Listing as described, kitchen clean and functional. Beds/pillows clean and comfortable. Location close to Asheville and local attractions.

I had a great stay here! The place had everything that I needed. There was great wifi access and I was able to work here. The area was beautiful and I woke up to birds every morning. James was friendly and an all around great host. I’d highly recommend to anyone coming to the Asheville area. I hope to visit again!

We only stayed one night, but my kids immediately asked if we could come back next time we are out that way. We had a great time glamping, enjoyed the hot tub, played some games, watched a move, and the kitchen was well stocked to cook any type of meal. It was a perfect way to spend some quailty time with my two youngest (12 and 15) after a long day of driving. Ryan was incredibly proactive with directions and helpful tips about the property. Highly recommend this updated vintage oasis!

Best of both worlds. Peaceful, relaxing getaway…yet extremely close to great wineries, breweries and restaurants. We got the simplicity, privacy and nature of a camping trip…yet in a comfortable, even luxurious, tiny home with all the amenities. Sarah was a very nice and responsive host that was close by if we had any issues (we didn’t!) And the yard was set up wonderfully for our dogs. If you want a unique adventure, but don’t necessarily want to “rough it”…this is for you.

The Yurt was a magical place! When you opened it up, you felt right at home. The necessities were great! Bedding, toiletries, coffee!! The private bathroom were amazing! Clean and refreshing. I definitely recommend this place for a fun weekend getaway that feels like you are deep in the wilderness.

This RV was definitely one of the best places i have stayed!! very well kept clean and very cozy!! Could use more privacy (curtains) but definitely not something to be judgmental about!! the host of the RV is also very respectful and friendly!! Definitely loved being outdoors and away from sight of people!!

The place was beautiful just as described! Definitely an experience. Would recommend bringing a heater or extra comforters in the fall- it was extremely cold the night we stayed. Some furniture is a little run down and could be replaced.

We had a great time here, especially playing in the creek! Loved all the convenience of a campsite set-up and ready to use. Charming and host was very responsive. Appreciated the thoughtfulness and enjoyed morning coffee on the porch with the sound of the creek. Farm setting was beautiful.

Had such an amazing stay! The place was really clean and had a lot of amenities for such a small space and all of the recommendations given for hiking and other activities were amazing! Would definitely stay at more of their properties in the future.

It was such a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing oasis that they've created! My family enjoyed every minute! We will be back, if we're in the area! They are so friendly and great to work with and very responsive! The homemade bread, fresh eggs, homemade peanut butter and jam were a nice surprise and so delicious! Y'all thought of all the little details!

Always love staying at the bus! I’m sure I’ll be back - what a beautiful spot on the Creeper trail with the most wonderful donkeys to visit.

The rating speaks for itself. Jane and Darren are truly the most attentive and accommodating hosts you could ask for with an Airbnb. And not only that, but there is even more that comes with the campsite compared to what is said is provided. They are always there to help with anything. AND THE LOCATION!!! You cannot find a better place for the price anywhere! We will definitely be staying here in the new season next year!

This RV was a phenomenal weekend escape, highly recommended. Quite, peaceful location at a very scenic spot. RV was spacious and very comfortable and Susan and Jeff were very gracious hosts.

My boyfriend and i were looking for a very comfortable and cozy place to stay with plenty of privacy, and that’s exactly what we got here! Our stay was amazing! Brian was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. The airstream was exactly as pictured, the patio was very nice and spacious, and there were instructions provided for easy access to all amenities. We loved the complementary mini s’mores kit! I would definitely recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a nice little getaway!

This is an unbelievable stay! There are not enough words to describe how fantastic this unique experience is. Every need is thought about before you arrive and sparkly clean for a bus. Steven gives you proper directions where GPS stops. Roof top deck is a must to enjoy daytime mountain views and nighttime fireflies. Beautiful surroundings, great spaces to walk around. The bathroom, shower and washer/dryer added on the side is top notch! My only complaint is I did not have more time to enjoy this fabulous place. I can't wait to get back to get some more r-n-r.

This is the first “glamping” Airbnb I’ve stayed at. Let me start by saying: I couldn’t have asked for more. Everything was absolutely spotless and while it’s “camping”? (Sort of) I am genuinely surprised by how clean everything was. I’m not sure what I expected but it was at least 4-5 star hotel level clean, even outdoors on the deck and the bathroom/shower area… I wasn’t necessarily looking for that but it’s surprising enough to mention. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat near New River Gorge then look no further.
