Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Wadden Sea

We were with two adults and three children for a short trip to Cuxhaven and had an all-round beautiful time in the cozy cottage. We were even allowed to check in a little earlier and the communication was super friendly and uncomplicated at all times. Everything was fine for us. Here's how to make Airbnb fun! ;-)

What a wonderful stay! For the second time we enjoyed this beautiful and cozy cottage. Anything you need is present – from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds that you sleep wonderfully on. The cottage is neatly clean and exudes really warmth and coziness. Located in a charming and cozy street, it immediately feels like coming home. The host is friendly and helpful, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended – we'd love to come back!

The most beautiful & romantic accommodation we have ever been allowed to stay in! :) The small half-timbered house is very idyllically located in the middle of nature. We really enjoyed watching the chickens at breakfast and were even lucky enough to spot a deer :) The kitchen is functionally equipped with the most important things, so you can prepare simple meals. And there are employment opportunities for rainy days. For those with a lighter sleep, I recommend bringing a sleep mask & earplugs, especially in the summer months, as the birds & rooster wake up early & there are no blackout options. The owners are very friendly, dedicated and helpful. Thank you so much for the wonderful days. We will be happy to come back again!

What a lovely house. Everything has been thought of. Beautiful complete kitchen, beautiful bathroom with a nice and sparkling clean sauna. Comfortable beds and great that the windows have screens. It is located in a quiet and beautifully landscaped park. Close to the center where there is plenty to do. It's also nice that you can go from the park to the nearby lake. The garden with neat furniture completes the house. We'd love to come back!

Mattie’s place is the best in Amsterdam. Clean, cozy, conveniently located and very charming. She gave great recommendations and advice. I can’t thank her enough. She also sent back a necklace I forgot

Our stay at Eva's was all around beautiful! The accommodation was furnished with love and really cozy. You can walk to the city center in 5 minutes, to the train station in 15 minutes. We felt very comfortable!

Beautiful and nice accommodation if you are looking for peace and nature. Friendly host who is quick to respond and happy to help. I really enjoyed the accommodation and would definitely recommend it. Anything you need is present. The bed is nice, the shower works well and the space is large enough for at least 2 people with a nice outdoor space.

Joost was an amazing host to me and my family! It was the first time that we were traveling abroad with our 11mo son and he made us feel right at home- even had a travel crib set up upon arrival. The location is very convenient - right above a coffee shop which Joost gives vouchers for :) very walkable and overall great space!

The Blue House is really something very special. Mieke and Arnold have decorated it very nicely and it is perfectly equipped! I immediately felt very comfortable and enjoyed my stay very much! If I ever come back to Giethoorn, I will definitely want to stay here again 🥰

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

Dear Monika, dear Dieter, Thank you for letting us spend a few unforgettable days in Norden in your beautiful apartment. From booking to check-out, you felt welcome at all times. We didn't miss anything in the apartment. The location is in the residential area of Norden, but the shopping facilities and the centre are easily accessible by bike or on foot. The location is excellent as a starting point for our bike tours, on the bicycles belonging to the apartment, to e.g. Greetsiel or Lütetsburg. I had a few wonderful days at the accommodation. Esens is located in such a way that you can get to the beach in Bensersiel in no time, but you can also reach several other beautiful coastal towns in 20 - 40 minutes by car (I highly recommend Carolinensiel and Norden). The apartment was super equipped, cozy, well maintained and there was a great view of the garden. The nearest shopping facility can be reached in a few minutes by car or by a short walk. Ella is a great host who takes good care of you and at the same time gives you privacy. All in all, I felt very comfortable and can very well imagine going there again =)

The few days at Volker's were very nice. We felt right at home after we were very warmly welcomed by Volker. The apartment is the perfect place for a break, and we got numerous tips for beautiful excursions. Volker was always a helpful point of contact and impeccable host. My child was able to feed Volker's chickens and collect the eggs, we were allowed to help ourselves in the spacious herb garden and pancakes were fried for us by the common campfire. Thank you for the wonderful time! We will hopefully come back. :-)

A beautiful, modern accommodation that is beautifully furnished and had everything and more to offer than we wanted for a relaxing weekend. The highlight here is the breakfast, which is prepared with so much love. The organisation and communication was simply great, so that we immediately felt comfortable with our hostess Jitske. Thank you very much for everything and certainly see you next time!

We felt very comfortable at the place. The apartment is high-quality and equipped with everything you need and more. The shower was a dream and from the huge terrace you had a direct view of the sea. The beach was practically right outside the door. Bakers, restaurants, pedestrian zone, Netto market and much more in the immediate vicinity. Mirko was always available, very friendly and uncomplicated.

Jannie and Arnold were great hosts, Arnold met us when we drove in and showed us the house. They gave us tips for restaurants in the area and supplied is with everything we needed for our night stay. The place is beautiful and peaceful, 10 minutes drive from Groningen. Would recommend for a peaceful weekend away.

The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful time at this beachfront home. The location is fantastic and the area offers many opportunities for recreation and exploration. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful – their tips for excursions and activities were very valuable. The apartment itself is very luxuriously furnished and equipped with everything you need. Very nice and clean apartment in the centre of Carolinensiel. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Shops, restaurants, cafés, harbour and sea within walking distance. Very friendly hosts with clear and accurate information. The check in via key box was very convenient. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back.

Wonderful space! Beautiful interior, very well equipped for everything you might need over a long weekend stay. Marina was lovely, very helpful and communicative. The bed was extremely comfortable, location excellent, every part of the space is well thought out and would highly recommend it to anyone!

We had a great time in this sweet apartment. We loved sitting in the living room overlooking the canal and appreciated the great shower and overall layout of the apartment. The location is fantastic. Very residential and more peaceful than other parts of the city we have been to. We highly recommend it!
