Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Farmhouse Okkingastate

Get away from it all? You can do that on our 200-year-old farm near the Wadden Sea coast (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the cities of Leeuwarden, Harlingen and Franeker. The farmhouse's front building has been converted into a spacious guesthouse with views over the garden and meadows. We have an organic dairy farm and work with nature as much as possible. If you come to stay with us, you can discover and experience farm life, the Wadden Sea coast and Friesland at your own pace. Welcome!

Studio with unique views over the IJsselmeer

In the old center of Hindeloopen, there is a fisherman's cottage (34m2) that has been converted into a comfortable studio that is equipped with many comforts. The studio has a king-size bed, a kitchenette, a spacious bathroom and plenty of storage space. Parking is available at the cottage itself, provided you have a small car. Otherwise, we would like to refer you to the free and spacious parking lot at the harbor. You can store your bicycles in the garden that belongs to the guest house.

'Ons Stulpje' is a complete, separate appartment with a comfortable kingsize boxspring bed, rain shower and complete kitchen. The jacuzzi can be booked separately (€30 per 2 h timeslot). The (shared) pool can be used in Summer. The airbnb is situated in the quiet countryside town Blankenham, close to tourist attractions like Giethoorn, Blokzijl, Steenwijk and National Park Weerribben-Wieden and Pantropica, Urk, and UNESCO Schokland. Breakfast can be added for €15 p.p. per day.

Our guest house is located in a beautiful spot on the Hondsrug. Here you are surrounded by nature: ancient woods, sandy paths, rolling fields, squirrels, deer and a wide variety of birds. Within walking distance of the cozy Gieten with delicious fresh bread or a Gieterkoek at the bakery. Here you will find the supermarket and nice restaurants. By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.

VACATION FROM ME Tinnum is centrally located in the middle of the island and Sylt can be easily explored from here by the women's bicycle, which is included PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BED LINEN AND TOWELS. THESE ARE NOT INCLUDED AND NOT IN STOCK. You pay your visitor's tax directly to the host and receive a visitor's and beach use card as proof. Every guest is subject to visitor's tax. The visitor's tax is paid by the host directly to the municipality of Sylt.

Surrounded by peace and space but also close to the bustle of Leeuwarden, Dokkum and Drachten, this wonderful place offers something for everyone. Great hiking or cycling! Wind through your hair, slow down, experience the tranquility and recharge your battery. The unique nature reserve of the Twizeler Mieden is your backyard.

Hidden in the Leeuwarden district of Huizum, lies the former kindergarten "Boartlik Begjin". At the end of the Ludolf Bakhuizenstraat, lies this special quiet place, within walking distance of the city center and the train station. A nice base to go into the city, shop or visit one of the museums. And also to discover the rest of Friesland. The room is also suitable as a home office (WiFi available).
