Private luxury B&B near Amstel

Trendy B&B just off the Amstel River and on the edge of the center of town. The B&B is located in the popular Weesperzijde area, just steps away from the Amstel Hotel and Royal Theatre Carré. In the immediate vicinity you will find a variety of cafes & restaurants including the hip and happening Café Restaurant De Ysbreker, the Breakfast Club, Café Loetje and Bagels & Beans. There are several new and old museums to choose from in walking distance such as the Contemporary Museum of Art (Stedelijk museum), H’ART Museum (Hermitage) and Artis Zoo. Tram and metro are just around the corner and will get you to the hart of the city within minutes, such as the lovely Jordaan (Soho of Amsterdam) and also very convenient for Schiphol Airport and the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre. The B&B is in a traditional eighteenth century Amsterdam brownstone, it has a private entrance and features a luxurious private bathroom. In addition, the room has a luxurious king size box spring, a built-in flat screen TV, modern furniture including Nespresso machine and kettle for your use, a large wardrobe for luggage, clothes etc and free WIFI. On request we can place a cot in the room. Breakfast is excluded but nearby there are many nice places where you can go to enjoy a delicious breakfast. As a young family we enjoy sharing our experiences in the trendy yet cozy city of Amsterdam. We can give you some great insider tips for unique local restaurants and clubs for a great night on the town.

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Welcome to Morningstar! Located right in the heart of Amsterdam. We can cater up to 4 persons in the apartment, which is part of our canal house, with a master bedroom (kingsize bed) and a sleeping sofa in the living room. We welcome guests that are looking for a unique stay in a historic canal house. We like to give families with (little) children a family experience in our apartment, a vibrant place in a picturesque Dutch canal house, overlooking the Westerkerk and Anne Frank House.

It offers a lot of privacy and all the comforts. Everything you need is available. It has a wonderful view and is surrounded by a natural garden. The tiny house is decorated with love and in detail. It is completely made of wood and has a living area of 30m². Enjoy the scenery and the skies, the peace and the space!

Rural accommodation on the Frisian Elfstedenroute

Within walking distance of the center of Bolsward, on the Workumertrekvaart, the original Frisian Eleven Cities Route, is our rural farm. In this rural and water-rich environment, we offer you a spacious room, which is equipped with a large double bed, (2x0.90), TV/seating area and a completely new bathroom with Jacuzzi. Extra sleeping accommodation is possible. We have recently created this new space in our former cowshed, which is adjacent to our private home.

Your space is totally private with your own bathroom, bedroom, captain's room and wheel house. The space is centrally heated and double glazed for chilly days. You also have access to outside space on our pier where you can relax into the evening on warm summer nights.

The accommodation, with its own entrance, has been recently renovated and is completely furnished for a comfortable stay. During the summer, the rooms are wonderfully cool and cozily warm during the winter. The accommodation is within walking distance (5 min.) from the station (train + bus). By car, the accommodation is easily accessible, a short distance from Juliana Square, where the A7 and A28 intersect. Free parking on own property.
