Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Wadden Sea

We were with two adults and three children for a short trip to Cuxhaven and had an all-round beautiful time in the cozy cottage. We were even allowed to check in a little earlier and the communication was super friendly and uncomplicated at all times. Everything was fine for us. Here's how to make Airbnb fun! ;-)

We got excellent instructions from Steffen about check in, besides this house is nice, cosy, we got there everything what we need. I highly recommended that place to stay! Thank you!

Together with my partner, we had a very relaxed weekend. With the beautiful weather, we enjoyed the jacuzzi and the BBQ! Cottage is fine, equipped with everything except a freezer. The surroundings are super nice. Quiet place and view of the storks, which was also very special. The contact with Herman went very well, responds quickly and very friendly. All in all had a wonderful weekend and repeatable!

We stayed here for two nights and that was actually not enough. The area is very quiet and beautiful, the cottage has everything you need and is very cozy. Theo responds very quickly. Thanks for a great stay!

The most beautiful & romantic accommodation we have ever been allowed to stay in! :) The small half-timbered house is very idyllically located in the middle of nature. We really enjoyed watching the chickens at breakfast and were even lucky enough to spot a deer :) The kitchen is functionally equipped with the most important things, so you can prepare simple meals. And there are employment opportunities for rainy days. For those with a lighter sleep, I recommend bringing a sleep mask & earplugs, especially in the summer months, as the birds & rooster wake up early & there are no blackout options. The owners are very friendly, dedicated and helpful. Thank you so much for the wonderful days. We will be happy to come back again!

What a lovely house. Everything has been thought of. Beautiful complete kitchen, beautiful bathroom with a nice and sparkling clean sauna. Comfortable beds and great that the windows have screens. It is located in a quiet and beautifully landscaped park. Close to the center where there is plenty to do. It's also nice that you can go from the park to the nearby lake. The garden with neat furniture completes the house. We'd love to come back!

We had a great time at Richard's house! The location is excellent, nice and quiet and with the lake of course great for refreshing. We rented the boat and also spent a nice time on the water and the larger lake. The house has everything you need, air-conditioned rooms were perfect on the hot days. Sitting together on the terrace by the lake in the evening, great! You can't go wrong with the house and would book it again and again.

The location was perfect for us and accommodations clean, quiet and private. Beautiful town! Hope to return someday!

Beautiful days in a beautiful accommodation. It was perfect (except for the weather😅). We immediately felt at home. The view of the lake exactly as described. Comfortable beds. The few days at Volker's were very nice. We felt right at home after we were very warmly welcomed by Volker. The apartment is the perfect place for a break, and we got numerous tips for beautiful excursions. Volker was always a helpful point of contact and impeccable host. My child was able to feed Volker's chickens and collect the eggs, we were allowed to help ourselves in the spacious herb garden and pancakes were fried for us by the common campfire. Thank you for the wonderful time! We will hopefully come back. :-)

Cathrin is a great host. Very responsive and ready to help. Her place is very nice. And the garden is breathtaking. I would describe it as a two bedroom apartment with a nice beautiful loft that can function as a third bedroom. The space that is listed as a third bedroom is a couch in the kitchen area. If you are traveling with little kids this might function well for you but we were three adults and everyone needed some privacy. We solved the problem by using the beautiful loft area as a third bedroom and all was good. Overall, good experience.

Very nice stay with very friendly hosts! The location is also great, close to the centre of Barneveld but still completely in the tranquility of the countryside. The surroundings are also beautiful, a beautiful area for cycling on the Veluwe.

We were in the "kleinen Glück" for a girlfriend weekend for two. We liked it right away. Very nice and individually furnished and designed, you can tell that there is real passion and love for detail behind it. And around it, wonderfully quiet nature, you look at cows and sheep. We lacked nothing. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

Hi! We were in Ribe for a wedding and the location was great! It was easy to get in and communication was great! The place was very cozy with lush nature and animals that came and visited. It was very cozy. The beds were comfortable and the place was well cleaned and fresh. Nice that there was coffee, shampoo and conditioner to borrow from. Would love to stay here again!

We spent 4 nights at this place, and absolutely loved it! The location is in the country along a canal. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. What a gem! I highly recommended this place to others!

Great forest hut, very idyllic and quiet. Everything is very cozy, outside and inside. Good kitchen and a barbecue area with a fireplace.

We’ve now stayed in this beautiful, cozy little house for the second time – and it was just as lovely as the first. That’s exactly why we decided to come back. The house is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, located in a quiet area, and the perfect place to relax. Our dog really enjoyed the park right across the street – great for walks. Our little son also had a blast, both playing in the house and exploring the city. We had an amazing time and felt right at home. Thank you – we’ll definitely be back!

We were completely satisfied with our stay at Mandy & Remko. The two were always very friendly and helpful - just great hosts. The bikes are also a great thing, except the weather is not good then better via taxi/ Uber. All in all, the accommodation absolutely met our expectations, pleasant location a little outside, an absolutely heavenly bed, and a clean kitchen as well as a clean bathroom. That's all you can ask for. The only improvement that can be made - a second towel rack in the bathroom to hang the small towels to dry. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Alkmaar! It is close enough to enjoy all that the city has to offer, yet it also provides a beautiful, peaceful escape from the business and crowds. Han and Kelly were great hosts, providing helpful recommendations and even rides from the train station and into Alkmaar. We also enjoyed hanging out with the dog, cat and chickens! We would definitely stay here again.

This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

Cute construction trailer, lovingly and spaciously developed! The surroundings are beautiful, you can look out on hilly meadows and lush vegetation, the farm animals make hearty visits. In front of the construction trailer there is an elevated meadow where you can lie/sit comfortably in the sun or do yoga. The construction trailer has everything you need, the kitchen is super equipped. The bathroom is about 50 meters away and the shower is powerful. It was a super nice stay, we are very relaxed!

Since we are currently celebrating the Schützenfest and it was loud, I was looking for a quiet accommodation to be able to correct in peace - and with this accommodation I did everything right. It was wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The relaxed sauna evenings were particularly nice. The hosts are also very friendly, and we were able to get a little insight into Hans' previous climbing adventures – thank you again! We hope to see you again soon.

Loved staying at Danielle’s cabin. She’s a great host and goes above and beyond to make your stay worth it. Beautiful walks all around and a beautiful little town in its self. Would highly recommend for a solo or couple get away and I would definitely stay here again! 5* All around!
