Holiday rentals with a sauna in Vaxholm Municipality

Three of us stayed for a business trip and it was just perfect. Having three double bedrooms and a lot of space meant we had our own privacy as well as not on top of each other. It’s a big, bright, airy apartment and it’s in a brilliant location. It was a little more involved to open up than other places I’ve stayed, first time , but Bella’s instructions made it easy. The place was immaculate - I think it’s quite a new property and cleaned very well always. It’s also 1 minute walk from to Slussen metro stop, which is 2-3 stops from Centrale, so a perfect location to walk to Gamla Stan or get anywhere really. Lovely bakery just on the corner, just by bars and coffee shops and a cycling route down into town. We are likely due back soon and won’t hesitate to book the same apartment again.

Great location - easy access to place - sauna is a bonus.

Looking for accommodation near our daughter who was celebrating her 40th birthday. This was 200m from our daughter, so it was the main reason we chose to stay here. The apartment was very nice, everything is here, a bedroom at one end with a nice double bed and nice lovely duvet covers and sheets. We slept very well, kitchen that we did not use but that was well equipped. A living room with a corner sofa, dining table and chairs. In addition, a large nice bathroom with shower and sauna. We had a great stay and slept very well. This was far beyond our expectations. We are very happy with our stay. If there are several of us who will visit the daughter at the same time again, we would like to stay here.

My stay at Viktor and Gunilla's place was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the essentials I needed for a comfortable long term stay for 2 months. The flat cosy and incredibly bright for a basement flat. I loved the beautiful big bathroom with a sauna as well as a dedicated laundry room. The location was perfect - in a peaceful neighbourhood but only 30 minutes from the city centre by public transport, making it easy to explore and enjoy everything the area has to offer. Viktor was communicative, friendly, and responsive, always making sure I had everything I needed without being intrusive. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay!

Great place, in the center of Stoccolma, an 8-minute walk from the central train station, a cozy place and as in the photos, a very clean and tidy room. I recommend if you're with a group of friends.

We really enjoyed Kiira's place. Very nice location, fairly close to city center with everything you might need and very reasonably priced. Definitely recommended!

Not the first time I stay here and certainly the best place for my trips to Stockholm

The host was very nice and responsive. He helped us with our needs and always had a cheerful attitude. The place is nice, quiet and really beautiful. Rabbits and baby deer can sometimes be seen in the garden. Overall the whole experience was pleasant.

I highly recommend this studio apartment. It was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in, and it had everything I needed — and more. Struan was very welcoming and helpful whenever I had a question or needed anything. I’d definitely stay here again.

Hanna & Anita's place was the perfect, cozy stay for our one week stay in Stockholm. They thought of everything to make the place feel like home, from the extra towels to coffee and tea; towels to sit on in the sauna and a clothes line inside the sauna. Anita went above and beyond during our stay. One example: After a long day of travel, we couldn't wait to relax. When we arrived to the place, it was warm and nicely lit. The sauna quickly warmed us up. If you are looking for a peaceful and comfortable place that is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still close by, we recommend Anita and Hanna's place. Sara is a great host, very helpful always answering super fast. the place is great, has everything you need and the location is perfect, super close to the subway and several restaurants and markets I'd definitely come back once in Stockholm again.

This place is great for a short trip to Stockholm, it is very clean, well organized and equipped. It is very well located despite being south of Stockholm, since there is a metro 3 minutes walk away! But you still have to take into account that it's a 120cm bed, but which is very comfortable and enough for us for 2 people of rather large sizes The host is very responsive and allowed us a flexible check-in Don't hesitate for the value for money, this place is really great!!

We were four people who stayed at Annamaja’s apartment, and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with the added convenience of free reserved car parking. The best part is the location. The bus stop is literally right outside the main door of the building closer than any I’ve ever seen! However, note that the bus service is available until 18:30. After that, the nearest option is the Axelberg metro station, just a 5–10 minute walk from the apartment. From Axelberg, you can easily catch a metro connection to Stockholm City. The total travel time to the city is about 20–25 minutes by public transport and just 10–15 minutes by car. Annamaja is an excellent host who responds promptly to messages at any time. There’s also a supermarket nearby, only 300 meters away, which is very convenient and within walking distance. We had a great stay and would definitely choose to stay at her place again when we visit Stockholm next time. Highly recommended

This is Airbnb at its finest! Anna is a fantastic host who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure you have a great stay. The apartment is stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to settle in and relax. We only stayed for a week but would have happily stayed longer. The location is perfect for peaceful walks, and getting to the city center is easy and convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience—we’d gladly return and highly recommend it!

Excellent house and would highly recommend to other groups of friends looking for a place not far from the city.

The house is very nicely located on a hill with great views of the water. Kitchen is very well equipped with all appliances and utensils. With their own private sauna great for anyone seeking tranquility and relaxation. Supermarket at 15 minutes walking distance.

We had a lovely time in Kullö. The island is enchanting and you are quickly on Vaxholm and Stockholm, so we were able to make many nice excursions! Communication with Frida and Jonathan was very pleasant and we felt very comfortable. Thank you!

Tommy's place is lovely, comfortable, and functional. Surrounded by a forest, with panoramic views of the bay, in addition to a convenient private parking, it offers many relaxing spaces in the reading area, the Adirondack chairs on the patio, terrace for bbq overlooking the bay and a comfortable hammock in the garden. A few meters away, directly on the water, it offers a sauna and a small pier with the use of a kayak. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, even with a dishwasher and, directly downstairs there is a washing machine. Tommy and Nettie were immediately thoughtful and attentive, making themselves available with discretion, to respond to our every request.

Absolutely stunning place!

Sandra and Per were perfect hosts. Their home is located in a lovely area with stunning views. The home is professionally decorated, but very cozy. Our grandchildren loved the trampoline. Every possible amenity was already there. We had everything we needed for a wonderful stay with our children and grandchildren. My family group of eight adults had a wonderful time at Christofer and Erika’s beautiful home. The location is unique with stunning views. The main house and separate guesthouses are tastefully decorated and in keeping with the style of the building. There are a number of well furnished outdoor spaces which really add to the charm. The house is very well equipped, we had everything we needed. It is simply a beautiful home away from home with the added bonus of the water-side wood fired sauna . Access to Stockholm city is straightforward from one of three ferry stops on the island and you can be in the city centre in less than an hour. Christofer and Erika are very responsive hosts, nothing was too much trouble and provided us with a really memorable holiday. It was a 5⭐️experience and would highly recommend.

The place is as described, it is a beautiful large space, equipped, outdoor seating. The house was warm. The bus is a short walk, beautiful surroundings for walking. We had everything we needed, I would definitely recommend.
