Until season -21, the cottage was of a simpler standard, now we offer a newly renovated cottage for 2 or 3 people (family bunk bed). Stove/oven, fridge and microwave. Hot water, toilet and shower. The cottage has a large terrace and is secluded. Communications are good from, among other places, Stockholm by car, bus or boat. Bus 636 or Waxholmsbolaget's Sjöbris via Arholma.

The nearest lake is Erken, where there are several different swimming areas and scenic areas. At the cottage, there is a wood-fired sauna. There is good bus communication to, for example, Stockholm or Grisslehamn for day trips. Norrtälje city is also a nice excursion destination.

Strömsberg is a unique village with a heritage of centuries of ironworks. There is small river where you can go of a swim, and there is a summer-open café. Bikes, rowboat, canoe, kids woodworking. With us at Blänkebo Gård, you will stay in the countryside in Sweden's nearest city with proximity to a lot, but it is also excellent to just relax. The cottage is newly renovated but with preserved old charm and there is both underfloor heating and a wood stove for cozy cooking during the cold season. Outdoors, there is plenty of room for play and movement.
