Family-friendly holiday rentals in Uppsala County

The home was beautiful, great location with an amazing view out to the archipelago. It has everything that you would need, and more! The jacuzzi was a great touch, something we used later in the evening when the boats go through the water in front of you. Markus was a great host, and gave the perfect introduction to the area with lot's of tips. Really happy we booked this place, we will be back again!

What a fantastic place! We enjoyed it very much. Beautiful nature with a camping feeling. The cottage is rather small but very nice. And our daughters really enjoyed the separate guest house. The large garden with all its magical places is wonderful. Alex is a great host, always responded quickly and solved any problems. He even prepared the whirlpool for us. And his dog Audrey is adorable. We can highly recommend this accommodation and hope to come back one day. Thank you Alex!

Thank you so much zeb. We had a great holiday. The villa was in a quite beautiful area in the country side. 1 hour drive to Stockholm. The communication with zeb was excellent he answers in the minute. The kids enjoyed the house and the toys. For sure we will come back.

We loved our stay at Per’s home! Our family of 5 had plenty of space for our stay for 2 weeks. The home has everything you need for cooking and feels like a cozy home. Our kids loved playing in the pool. Per and Jennie were super responsive and helpful. The home is a very short drive from Mörby Centrum where you can get all your groceries and do some shopping. You can also easily catch the subway from there into the city. Driving into the city is also easy with just a quick drive (maybe 15 minutes) to the center of Stockholm. The park down the street and the nature trails nearby were also delightful.

Our family had a lovely stay here- for our 4 kids ages 6-12 there was so much space and fun options to play- soccer, table tennis, a play house, san box, kubb, trampoline, small pool etc. The house had everything we needed to feel at home. Cecilia was a welcoming host and always responsive. Highly recommend.

Absolutely a 10 out of 10! Beautiful home with amazing view of the water. Walk to train which is super easy, and you are in Stockholm within 20 mins! wonderful place for family vacation or for perhaps a few couples - wine on the deck, wonderful kitchen, and a sauna! For nature lovers a dream, we had squirrels from time to time on the balcony. Deer who ran by at your doorstep. The trip to the island itself was also always very relaxing with the ferry. Shopping nearby. Tomas took great care of us and if what happened, he immediately made an effort to arrange. We were well received and looked after by an employee on site, he also gave us great tips for the area just great thank you. We were welcome and well taken care of, it couldn't be better. Beautiful island house in nature with large terrace, (warm) outdoor shower and outdoor toilet with water views! During the Swedish summer holidays there are numerous ferry connections and on the main island some restaurants, from mid-August at least the Coop. Unfortunately, the beach house is not part of the rental, but a nice large jetty. The house is better accessible by boat than via the forest path.

Thank you so much Thorbjörn for the most gorgeous stay. Me and my two best friends had an incredible holiday in the beautiful and clean cabin by the water. We loved our morning swims, the outdoor showers, al freso dining, and fresh eggs. We enjoyed exploring the island and finding different swimming spots each day. The cabin is easy to get to via the local ferry, where we also were able to go to Möja to rent kayaks. I have recommended this cabin to all my friends and I would go back!

We had a great time on the island. For us, a small family with two children, the small house was the perfect compromise between being in the city, but also having the possibility to be in nature. Michael was very friendly and helpful. The fact that we could use the canoe, was a very nice extra. It gave us the possibility to do something active rather than just being in the city of Stockholm. The ferry to the mainland, which is included in the public transport, was also nice for us to take. We had a very nice stay. Thanks Michael!

Very nice cottage with a quiet and beautiful location. Agneta is also a nice and helpful host. The house also has most of what you need. A great option for those who want to visit wonderful Öregrund!

Comfortable and beautiful home away from downtown on a car-free island. Getting to the mainland in Pendelbåti went well.

Lots of windows. Beautiful light. Very minimalistic atmosphere which gave a calm and peaceful feeling. Cozy front room with windows, daybed and surrounding views of boats passing by was perfect for coffee and relaxation. Elisabet is an excellent, responsive and kind host. While you cannot take a car there, they have two hand carts available to use when you arrive. If you don’t mind walking, it is a good walk with your suitcases in the carts from the ferry to the home and you’ll get a lot of wildlife, animals and things to see. We enjoyed the nature. Water everywhere. The sunsets were beautiful. Private beach to use (visible to everyone but not available). A sweet market just down the hill with almost everything you may need for a few days. A boat, kayak, SUPs and linens for rent—ask to reserve them ahead of your stay. We loved the experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this house in Sigtuna, and I couldn't be more impressed! The highlight of the property is the huge back deck, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying the serene surroundings. The large swimming pool adds to the charm, creating a perfect relaxation spot. Sigtuna itself is enchanting, with its quaint streets and rich history. The house embodies this charm, making it a delightful retreat. The peaceful location truly enhances the experience, allowing for a tranquil getaway. I highly recommend this house for anyone looking to unwind in a picturesque setting. You won't be disappointed!

I booked this home for my in laws to stay for our wedding and they absolutely loved everything. My father in law even wanted to move in 😂

Maggan's cabin is a really cozy little place surrounded by forest and with the necessary necessities inside and out. Lovely primitive with shower and toilet outdoors, and with bathrobes, bath slippers, towels, toothbrushes and everything. Services were top notch with a lighted grill and lit candles when we arrived late at night. The weather was not the most favorable (quite cold and a lot of rain), but we even made it under the umbrellas on the terrace and the cabin blankets. Was a workday stay, so we didn't have time to explore the locations around.

We were group of six and loved our stay in this beautiful house. Very spacious bedrooms, kitchen and living room. Extra nice outside area as well plus the pool.Great location for us and everything we needed in short distance. We highly recommend this house for others.

Erik was a fantastic host. Responded really quickly to any messages or questions during the stay and was very hospitable. The house was spotless and looked just like the pictures (if not better). It is a beautiful house and the garden and pool are lovely. Everything you could need in the kitchen. Nice quiet neighbourhood with good transport links to Uppsala and Stockholm. There's also a supermarket around a ten minute walk from the property. If we ever return to Uppsala we will definitely book Erik's accommodation again. We had a wonderful stay and cannot fault Erik or the property at all.

We were 3 families with teenage children and had a fabulous week staying in this house. So much space to eat, hang out, play games and cook. It was so well thought out and we’ll equipped that we didn’t need to think about anything extra. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous home Henrik.
