Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Upper Normandy

A beautiful address in a small typical Norman house with its beautiful half-timbering. Everything is perfect to feel good and Virginia is very kind 🐮🍎🌳

We were looking for a place to gather as a family, we found a little piece of heaven in Le Perche. Large house full of character and charm, “chic flea market” atmosphere with its antique furniture, which does not take away from its comfort and its many facilitating amenities. Not to mention the vast “carpet” of greenery in front of the house, where venerable cherry and apple trees race for the most beautiful flowering. The place is so harmonious and quiet that we wonder if the only occupants around are not the birds. In the end, you don't know where you can feel better: inside or outside. To conclude, special mention to Thierry, the owner of the place: ultra responsive, accommodating and surely tour guide in another life. Thanks to his advice, we discovered local gems that we would never have found alone. In short, 4 perfect days. We highly recommend (unless you make noise – there, the birds may give you a spell😄).

Quaint old French house, and part of a larger estate, though fully separated in terms of privacy and access. The building is well maintained and provides all the needed comforts whilst maintaining a great atmosphere. The house has an own driveway and plenty of facilities in terms of kitchenware, books, movies etc. The beds were made upon arrival and there is more than enough linen, towels etc. The garden is large and provides places to chill in the sun throughout the day. A full stocked library on all the local possible sights you can imagine is available in a well structured manner. Lastly, the location is superb. Both access to the cities (Bayeux and Caen), as well as the D-Day sights are within easy drive. Sophie was super welcoming and we truly enjoyed our stay here!

Large secure house very well arranged and very nicely furnished. The garden is beautiful. Shops nearby. Lots of hiking . Quiet and nature are waiting for you . and Marie, our host was proactive, understanding and very caring We would highly recommend it.

We had a great time. The Fort is peaceful and welcoming, we were at home with a real change of scenery! Daniel and Agnès are genuinely kind and Daniel's passion would be contagious if we had more time 😃

Perfectly located accommodation for visiting the landing beaches, warm hosts had left us lovely touches (fire prepared in the fireplace, candy for the children, ciders for the adults...), everything was perfect!

Few things to mention when it comes to a second stay in the same accommodation...except for the kindness of our host who has once again done everything to best adapt to our schedules. Good communication with our host, always quick, clear and effective in his answers, a real coach! Apartment ok, easy access by metro, well secured and very quiet. So we had a very pleasant stay, thank you for hosting again! See you soon maybe for a new 42.195 km escape in the beautiful streets of our capital!

Top central location on Montmartre, metro only 3 minutes away, many restaurants in the immediate vicinity. We felt very comfortable

The location was so quiet considering how close to the Arc de Triumph we were. Easy to walk to the Metro and explore many parts of the city (I would recommend the Argentine Metro over Charles de Gaulle by the Arc which was much busier and hectic). A local boulangerie, Boucherie and coffee shop along with many restaurants to choose from). Having the toilette and wash area separate was very nice with 3 people staying in the apartment. We ended up not using many of the amenities (dishwasher, washer, stove or cook too) but nice to have available. And while the kitchen was small, we still ended up able to have 3 people standing in it for a late evening snack). While the bedrooms are small, the beds are comfortable and the large closet was needed and used for our belongings, There are stairs but easily manageable. While we did have one issue, Nicholas was responsive and helpful. I would return in the future.

I stayed for a month at Elodie’s apartment. She stocked the refrigerator with my favorites before I arrived. I totally enjoyed my stay as it is a block away from 2 metros, several eating spots and a Gifu across the street. The views every morning were just spectacular as was the night view of Sacre Cour turned green for StPatricks Day! Elodie is special and very kind. I loved my stay in Paris and I loved Elodies place.

Had a lovely stay at Anne-Laure's flat. Check in was super easy; Anne-Laure was both communicative and flexible. The flat is an artsy and cosy space, with a very sweet and friendly cat. I adore the area, there are so many good places to eat and drink. The street is busy and vibey and full of life, which is what we signed up for. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We had a very pleasant stay, Michael's residence is very well maintained and the location is perfect for quiet rest. Michael is a gracious host and very available when we needed him on site. The pool is spacious and very well maintained, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the same for common areas. We would definitely recommend staying at this place!

Beautiful and exotic location. Ideal for a summer and winter family weekend. The facilities are very clean and everything is perfectly functional. 15 min from the sea. I recommend it without hesitation.

We had a wonderful weekend with the kids and the grandchildren. The home and accommodation was beautiful. Everything was provided for. In addition, we were well supported by July who was a very helpful and available host. The house in Ecrainville is definitely recommended.

Beautiful house with a TV view on the beach The house is spacious, we recommend Good to know if the pellets of electricity skip the meter to put it back is next to the gate on your despot, do not search in the house Small downside in the downstairs bedroom the box spring is case on the right side and a board was set to solidify , but it is thick when you sleep on it you only feel that. We mentioned the point for it to be changed Otherwise everything is great

We had a lovely stay. The house is a great light space, plenty of room, good sized beds, lovely terrace and big garden with swing, slide and tree house. Feels like being in the forest. Big airy lounge and seperate TV/playroom Kitchen well equipped, good big BBQ. Garden secure behind large electric gates.Isabelle responsive and helpful recommendations. Hotel next door great view for a glass, and food decent if you don't fancy the walk to the village, where there is a great restaurant. The local beach is quite a steep path but is stunning with the tide out, lots of sand, swimming, rock pools. It is tide dependant, so have to time to avoid pebbles, but lots of sand if you time sensibly. Beautiful peaceful location. Not perfect or pristine, but that is fine by us with two toddlers, and great value. Looks even better than the photos. Would happily return.

Huge garden with boules court (boules included!) bbq and pool. Villa itself stunning, spacious and v well equipped. Great laundry room. Village pretty with wonderful, welcoming boucherie. Abbeville handy and St Valerie full of great and varied restaurants. V pretty. Trip up the Somme valley a must. Finally thanks to Phillippe who was a great host. We would love to return some time.
