Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Upper Normandy

This is the second time we've come to Eléonore's, her artist's house is simply a little corner of paradise!

Staying in the chapel is an extraordinary, wonderful experience. This chapel has been completely renovated by Iris, with incredible talent. If I had to pick out a few elements, it would be the feeling of space, the inverted boat hull frame, the stained glass window adjoining the bedroom, the papier-mâché jars, the garden at the back, etc. It is a perfect place to meet, in a village where life is good. Iris is a caring and learned host, who will tell you the whole story of the place. Looking forward to coming back!

We had a lovely weekend at Jacques and Eric's! They're really thoughtful hosts who take pleasure in connecting with you. The house and its garden are superb, very quiet and surrounded by fields. Everything is spotless, we really liked the possibility of turning the double beds into single beds, having come for a weekend with friends. We'll be happy to go back!

In a haven of tranquility by the river, an adorable little house absolutely in line with the description of the ad, ideal for a couple, was waiting for us. Aleksa and Alexandre are very charming and welcoming hosts. For a future stay, we would prefer the other house at the end of their land with a garden and a more private terrace offering more privacy and which also has direct access to the river. The walk with the canoe provided is a real plus with its green and bucolic environment. The centre of Chartres and its cathedral are 15 minutes away by car and the Château de Maintenon, which is worth the detour, is 35 minutes away. Loved our stay!

A “cabin” in the woods, peaceful except for the Mourning Dove mourning down the chimney and the cows lowing across the fence, every possible amenity was provided including wine, beer and cidre in the fridge and a very well -stocked bar. Bed was wonderful for nine nights and that may be a travel record. Typical European shower, enough said, didn’t try the sauna but it looked good. Lots more little niceties. However, if you require active, powerful internet and cell coverage bring your Starlink.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The check-in was extremely easy and the instructions were spot on. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable. The location is outstanding with many restaurants and shops nearby. We also walked to many attractions. Charlotte is very responsive. She always replied quickly to questions. We recommend this accommodation: cosy, clean and tidy, room for business, well located, etc. Everything is done to make you feel at home, but better. There's even a nice electric fireplace. We will be back and look forward to staying at the Summer Cottage again. We thank Magda for her responsiveness and her fluid and friendly communication (and congratulations on the cleanliness!).

A view of the countryside on one side, a sensational view of Paris from the terrace and in between a cozy little apartment. We felt very comfortable and, thanks to Montmartre, we came back fitter with the numerous stairs.

Alexis was very helpful before arrival and quick to respond. Aubrey welcomed us and worked hard to make certain the apartment was ready upon arrival. The location was outstanding. The apartment is unique and has a lot of light and great blackout blinds, when needed. The skylight in the bedroom was extra nice. We really enjoyed the multiple balcony views looking out at the Louvre and both directions up and down Rue de Rivoli. The upstairs bedroom would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. The shower was nice and spacious. At the time of our stay there was only a handheld shower, but it wasn't a problem for us. There were many restaurant options within a short distance. It was easy to catch a taxi at the nearby hotel Regina. We would highly recommend staying in this apartment.

We had a lovely weekend here! Buket was very communicative, and the house instructions were very clear The house is beautiful and fairly private. It truly felt like a little oasis.

Extremely well decorated villa, very well equipped, impeccable bedding, all the necessary utensils, spacious, the hosts are very responsive, we had a great stay, to recommend without hesitation and as a bonus a very appreciable jacuzzi.

the pluses: Comfortable house very well located and perfectly quiet. Quick access to the beach allows beautiful walks and also arrival in Honfleur by the estuary. The two terraces are ideal for meals for 7/8 people, the large lot is perfectly enclosed and safe for children and dogs even small. The fairly busy road along the land does not cause any disturbance. Depending on the direction of the wind, you can be slightly confused by the sound of Le Havre flares (on the other side )or the passage of a few big boats that make the show! the -: if the kitchen is perfectly equipped in terms of appliances, it is however missing two or three fundamental utensils such as the oven dish exit handles and large service knives. The operation of the living room lighting remained a mystery to us! (untimely outages). Overall, the service is as described quiet and comfortable.

We had a restful stay at LeManoir. The property and surroundings are stunning and peaceful. Guillaume is a welcoming host and gave us plenty of recommendations. The location is excellent if you're visiting Etretat. Which is only 15 minutes away by car. It's so much better than staying in Etretat proper. We loved walking the trails surrounding the house into the woods and near the water. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are high quality. Don't hesitate to book! We hope to return with our family soon.

Ludivine's accommodation corresponds in every way to the description. My four friends and I loved the quality, especially of the veranda and the bedding. We are less than a ten-minute walk from the city centre and the funicular. No problem parking and it's very quiet. Thanks again! We'll be happy to go back.

Exceptional stay once again! It was our second time in this accommodation, and everything was perfect. The host was incredibly understanding and flexible, especially allowing us a late check-out, which we really appreciated. The accommodation is clean, peaceful and above all filled with activities: in three days, we didn't even have time to try everything as there were so many things to do. You never get bored here!
