Haven of peace - the garden studio

The studio is located in Quartier Saint Catherine, the historic centre of the old fishing port of Honfleur. Just a short stroll away from the Vieux Bassin and its many bars and restaurants, it is also well placed for shopping and for visiting the town's museums and galleries. On arrival you pass through the entrance hall of my house to discover the studio tucked away at the end of a courtyard garden. The only sounds you will hear are the singing of the birds at dawn and their early evening chatter. A modern spacious room with high ceilings, it has a private shower room and a small kitchen area equipped with a microwave oven, fridge & ceramic hob for preparing light meals. There is a comfortable king size bed and a sitting area with armchairs, tv and dvd player. A single bed can be added for a third adult or child (at additional cost) and a baby cot is available. Its doors open onto a small private terrace, ideal for taking breakfast or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. The studio is self catering. All bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided as are tea and coffee, shower gel and shampoo. HONFLEUR AND THE REGION Honfleur has a superb market every Saturday selling seasonal fruIt and vegetables, local cheeses, oysters, country ham and free range poultry. The local beach is a 10 minute walk away and the well known resorts of Trouville and Deauville are 20 minutes by car. The D Day landing beaches, the Mont Saint Michel and Monet's house at Giverny are all within a couple of hour's drive of Honfleur. A few kilometers inland is the lovely, gentle rolling countryside of the 'Pays d'Auge' famous for its cider and Calvados production and for local cheeses such as Livarot, Pont l'Evèque and Camembert.

Charming little house, on hillside, 2 steps from the city center, in one of the famous stairs connecting lower town and upper town. Quiet assured. Living room with kitchenette, sofa/bed, table and chairs. Bathroom WC/shower. Room in mezzanine, large double bed, sea escape. Pretty wooden terrace surrounded by brick and flint walls. On foot, you are 10 minutes from the neighborhood rebuilt by the famous architect A. Perret and 15 minutes from the beach. Immediate proximity to public transport.

Walking / cycling. Located 1 hour from Paris (accessible by train via Vernon, then Uber/car rental, 10 mins – to be booked in advance). Shared access to parking and landscaped garden.

From your private terrace and garden, enjoy the dwarf goats, sheep and sunset in this bucolic setting.

The castle farm

The castle farm is located in Breilly, 10 km from the city center of Amiens. In the middle of nature and away from traffic and noise, you will be peaceful! The property is at the end of a driveway of century-old lime trees. The fully renovated independent gîte is located in the main body of the 19th century farmhouse. The farm currently houses a horse boarding facility. The 75 m² cottage with 2 bedrooms can accommodate up to 6 people. A crib and high chair on request.

The Little House of Loupiotte at the gates of the Vexin

The Pressoir is independent from the Manor house. A lawn and a large pond separate the two places. The kitchen is fully equiped. A large room shares lounge, fire place, large dining area and kitchen. The bedroom, bathroom and toilets are separated.
