The cabin is in a great spot and the layout was perfect for our needs. Additionally, the host was very responsive when we had questions. A great stay overall!

You read ‘this is the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in’ a lot on this app for a bunch of OK/decent places but truly this is the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. More akin to a living architecture property, we felt very lucky to be able to stay in such a wonderfully curated and thoughtfully designed space. Every detail thought of. Really walkable to good coffee (three pines) and the lake, and v close to a bunch of running and cycling trails.

The home is tucked away in the trees, offering a peaceful escape just minutes from town and the lake. A great spot if you’re looking for a quiet retreat with easy access to everything Tahoe has to offer.

We felt very comfortable and at peace . This place was well equipped and the coffee and cocoa was a nice bonus to have! I would certainly book again.

Nice house with a great room and 2 bedrooms, just the right size for a family. It was ideal for a skiing trip to Northstar for me and my 2 children. The hot tub was nice and clean and felt great after a day of skiing. There is a nice gas fireplace that was both cheery and warmed up the room and helped dry out our snow pants. The location is great for getting to both Northstar and downtown Kings Beach - note that you do have to get over a pass to get to Northstar, so in the winter bring your chains or AWD car in case of weather. It feels professionally run - the hosts were proactive about communication and quickly responsive. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

If you’re looking for a peaceful nature retreat with friends and family—or a private, romantic escape to recharge with your partner—stop scrolling and book this place. You won’t find a better value, a more charming historic cabin, or a more thoughtful host near Truckee and Lake Tahoe. It was a one-of-a-kind stay we’re really glad we experienced.

If you are looking for a retreat this is the place. The waterfront backyard makes leaving difficult. Love the place and can't wait to return.

I cannot speak highly enough of this property and the host. We were so sad to leave! I adore A- frames and this one had all the charm. The property had an amazing view of the Lake and the hot tub made the view even better. I would absolutely return! I also cannot speak highly enough of the host, she was so kind and gave detailed recommendations which we utilized and enjoyed!

We had a very nice stay. You could tell there was a lot of thought put in to making guests feel comfortable, accommodated and informed. The location was perfect and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beautiful lake.

The cabin was quaint, cozy and brought us back to childhood memories. We enjoyed burning the wood stove in the evenings and watching VHS movies- such a fun touch! We felt super close to Truckee- only 15 mins down the highway, and what a beautiful drive. We ultimately loved our stay and are grateful for these new memories! We will definitely be back!

We loved staying at Mike's cabin. It was a perfect relaxing getaway for us and our dogs on a very quiet street with nearby trails. We enjoyed the cozy feeling of the cabin and were glad to have a well stocked kitchen for cooking and plenty of firewood for unwinding at night. Mike was very friendly and communicative, and was able to offer some local suggestions when asked. Just a heads up - if you don't have 4 wheel drive, you may want to use chains to get up the last couple hilly streets to the cabin in case of icy or snowy conditions. Once we arrived, though, the stairs to the cabin were completely free of ice and snow. Thank you, Mike!

Lovely cabin in Tahoe City! Just up the hill, close to the city but quiet enough that you can hear the creek running through the backyard. Nicely furnished with a king sized bed and a fireplace right by the bed

I can’t say enough about David’s place. This little cottage has all the feelings of home. It’s super cozy and has a great location. The view is stunning from the deck. David was great about communicating with me and responding to questions. I hope to be able to return to Lake Tahoe someday and I will definitely look into staying here again. Thank you so much for sharing your little spot of paradise with us!

We had a great time at Michelle and Connor's place. There was plenty of space for two families of 4 plus dogs. The location is close to everything yet still feels peaceful. You are minutes from groceries and old town Truckee and 20 minutes from skiing. We would definitely stay again.

Laura was so sweet! My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the cutest little home. So cozy and had everything you needed!

Love Neals place, so serene, literally! The three bed was great for our family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the road the home is on is so sweet. In the winter, be prepared for snow for the ski bunnies! Soda springs is at the highest elevation… We came looking for snow and found it. I bet the lake in the summer is gorgeous too. Fantastic cabin, very well equipped, comfortable bedrooms, the hot-tub was fun for the family. Views of the lake are stunning. Would highly recommend. Location was great - just a short drive to Sugar Bowl.

Great spot for 3 couples ! It is pretty deep in the neighborhood but such beautiful surroundings. Great natural lighting and grand windows! Well stocked kitchen and we cooked almost every night. Really responsive host!

Steven was very friendly, easy to reach and fast responses. The cabin is quaint and comfortable, if the couch was a bit bigger might be more comfortable. The kitchen was perfect and being that we stayed in for dinners was fantastic, the stove and hood system was amazing! Loved the bedrooms in the upstairs loft, super cozy and comfortable. Would absolutely return and appreciate Steven's communication and overall positive approach!

We have stayed in Tahoe Donner many times over the years but this was the first time at this house. The experience was great from start to finish. Hamish and Kim were super clear about what to expect, the house was so clean, perfectly furnished for relaxing and sleeping and it had everything needed for a couple of nice meals in. We needed to connect with Hamish and Kim a few times and they were always SUPER responsive and helpful - which is always so nice on weekends like this. We will for sure look to stay here again.

Loved our stay in Incline village. 45 mins from Reno airport. 45-50 mins to Emerald Bay. 10 mins to San harbor. Home is dated. But has been renovated and modern. Would stay again.

Kelly’s aloha cabin was perfect for our trip! It is super close to Tahoe Donner ski which made it super easy for our family since this was our first time skiing. She was always super fast responsive and friendly. The backyard is perfect for snow play, no need to drive around as her place is perfect. The only thing we missed was having a TV in each room as there’s no TV in the main two bedrooms and the two TVs there are older models and couldn’t connect to any apps like Netflix, DisneyPlus, etc. I also did not packed Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash as I got used to all of the other Airbnb places we had been to always had them but this was not the case this time! Anyways Safeway was super close. The cabin gets super cozy and warm with the fire place that’s in the living/ dining room. Thank you Kelly for hosting us!

Loved our stay at the cabin! The place is exactly as described in the listing. The steep stairs can be a little daunting but the cabin is well worth it.

This was a perfect house for our family of five -- plenty of beds, board games, quiet neighborhood, sleds + sloping backyard, great location close to Truckee, etc. Great communication from beginning to end.
