“full disclosure: i didn't actually get the pleasure of staying at mark's place. i had to cancel at the last minute due to covid-19 concerns. mark was SUPER understanding, gracious and generous about the situation, and i truly appreciated it. i can only speculate about mark's space, since i didn't actually end of staying there, but if his thoughtfulness and communication skills are any indication, i imagine it is a great space that is very comfortable and designed to accommodate whatever your travel needs may be. :)”
Separate private studio adjacent to the main house, with private entrance. Access to the garden and pond area. Walking distance from local super market and park. Situated in a leafy, quaint and quiet suburb, three miles from downtown Sacramento. Close to the major freeways and the hospitals. A futon bed and/or an air mattress made up are available on request for an additional charge of $25 each.
“This is a comfortable, quiet, well situated place. In addition, Sue has taken great pains to accommodate the Covid situation. After a 14 hour day of travel I arrived to find a place to securely park, and a gate through which I encountered a peaceful courtyard and soothing fountain with the guest cottage just beyond. Sue came out to greet me which felt very warm and welcoming. I took an after dinner walk through the leafy streets of East Sacramento lined with unique storybook bungalows. In the morning, there was coffee fixings in the kitchenette and a thoughtful addition of cream in the fridge. I felt lucky to find this on relatively short notice and hope to return. Lovely and relaxed.”

“Very cute place that the pictures don’t do it justice. I stayed here for one night and enjoyed all the amenities it came with. The jacuzzi was amazing and relaxing and the beautiful lights were a plus. Love how big the TV is and the bed is very comfy. Has a fridge and stove top, and even a little cabinet where you can Venmo the host if you forgot things like a toothbrush or toothpaste etc. Very easy check in and very straight forward causing no stress for my getaway!”
