Harbour Townhouse, Outstanding Family Home

EllieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Really enjoyed our stay at this property. Comfortable and spacious for 6 adults and 1 toddler. Good location to walk down to the harbour, ample parking nearby and in a good spot for the bus stop too. House was super clean and tidy. We weren’t given any toilet rolls initially so had to pop out to grab some however when queried with the host, they couldn’t be more helpful and had actually dropped some off straight away! We felt like we had everything we needed in the house and felt at home. There were even books and toys, and bath accessories for the little one which was very much appreciated. Really enjoyed our stay, great value for money, would definitely recommend.

The Annex on the Hill

GuyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Superbly appointed AirBnb - from the chocolates to the tea. bags and the milk in the fridge to the thoughtful and carefully appointed facilities this was top notch. Bed was comfortable and our dog made very welcome. The furniture and ambiance is simple and comfortable. It's a little bit of a walk up the hill, but that walk takes you past a supermarket which was really useful. We visited for the Pirate Festival and the fact the wardrobe had lots of hangers in it was rather helpful. 15-20 Mins walk down to the centre of town ( thats taking it at a very gentle pace) and maybe 25 mins back up ( we do not walk so quickly nowadays!) The coastal path which is not far away is a delight and a wonderful calm escape after the Pirate Festival. Recommended.

On millpool at lovely Stoke Gabriel by River Dart.

JamesRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Overcreek is a lovely barn conversion tucked away in the middle of a wood, great for privacy and wildlife. Brian's directions are good, use these and W3W in place of postcode and satnav. It's peaceful spot and a comfortable place to spend a holiday with good local places to visit and eat out. One thing to watch out for, the supermarket we asked to deliver were not prepared to drive up to the house - and only told us when attempting to make the delivery - we drove down and transferred shopping to our car without a problem so easily resolved but something to be aware of. Brian is a very responsive host, responding in minutes to any queries. He was also quick to pass on highlights of local news - both weekly local events announcements and the more unusual such as when ospreys had arrived at the millpool! Having been let down with a late cancellation of a booking in this area made with National Trust, this was a great find.

Georgian manor house with views and boating lake

VickiRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had such a wonderful week in Berry Pomeroy. The accommodation was a wing of a manor house, and had a completely private and secluded feel with an enormous garden. The kids were entertained the whole week with a trampoline, row boat, chess set, table tennis, games room and a lovely garden to explore. We just loved the main Kitchen/Dining/Living room which is an elegant and very comfortable space to socialise, and even with 9 of us it felt so spacious! This accommodation feels like a home from home. Antonia and Rob were so helpful and responsive and they were ideal hosts. There are plenty of different areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings outside. The property is a little tricky to find but as long as you follow the instructions carefully its fine. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return again.

Luxury Torbay Home with HOT TUB

AlinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I must honestly say that the host is a very nice and friendly person, the house was really beautiful and well-kept in a modern but cozy style, the kitchen was very large and well-equipped. The bathrooms were in a very good style and very clean, equipped with all the necessary cosmetics for washing. Prosecco and cookies were waiting for us, I consider it a very nice gesture on the part of the host. There was a summer house in the garden, where I could calmly read a book in my corner and relax in the jacuzzi in the evening. It was a very nice stay for us. Very close to various attractions, I recommend visiting the zoo in Painghton and I recommend with all my heart the family restaurant Smugglers Restaurant and Bar in Brixham, a nearby town. Our entire stay in Painghton was very successful and I will definitely use this host's property in the future. The photos do not do this beautiful house justice, you simply have to be there!

The holiday apartment is located in a historical building in a beautiful setting. We immediately felt at home. A garden full of flowers for short walks and the moor within 200 meters up the road. Josie and Barnaby are great hosts!

The Annex, Seaflowers - stylish 1 bed by the water

GeorgeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a fantastic break at The Annex in Frogmore. It was equipped with everything we needed for our 3 night stay and the home was beautifully clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the estuary and walking across to the pub opposite in the evenings.

The Artist's Garret studio flat.

PennyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The flat is beautiful - like a suite in a luxury hotel with the addition of a very well equipped kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and cosy. The decor is stunning. The television is very high quality. The shower room is spacious and the underfloor heating is lush. All in all it is a gorgeous flat. There are two outdoor spaces to sit if the weather is good. You are surrounded in countryside with trees and grassland as well as the wonderful sculptures from the Sculpture School which is also located here. I was attending a portraiture course at the school. The course is quite intensive and immersive so it was very good at the end of the day just to wander back to my apratment without having to drive anywhere. I could cook myself a simple meal and relax! The delicious brownies were very welcome too Diane is very friendly and on hand to help if you need anything. Highly recommend this place whether you a re on holiday or attending a course. Exeter, Dartmoor and Devon is on your doostep

The Recording Studio at Salcombe Farm (3 Bedrooms)

ChelseaRating, 5 stars13 months ago
The property was just as advertised. Had to drive through a country road to get to it but the instructions were very clear so we found it very easily. The property is so close to Salcombe, it’s easy to get around and we used the local Tesco to buy the food we needed for our stay which was again easy to find and just a short drive away. Overall the property was very clean however we were slightly disappointed when it came to using the BBQ that was supplied, it still had residual food from previous guests on it so we had to give it a good clean before we could use it. We also wrongly assumed there would be coal in the BBQ so had to go back to the shop to get some when we realised there wasn’t, so if you’d like a BBQ, be sure to add coal to your shopping list! We loved the hot tub! It was beautifully clean and easy to use, lovely sitting out in the evenings with the patio area all lit up. We would definitely stay again, we had a lovely couple days in a beautiful property and area.

Apartment in Grade II Listed Building, Dartmouth

GrantRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
William’s place is in the perfect location to enjoy all that Dartmouth has to offer. Ideally located for the town centre, ferries, car park yet in a quiet street away from any noise. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, we-maintained and exact,y as described. Access was easy and we found everything we needed was available. The bed was extremely comfortable with the bedroom having plenty of space for our luggage. The kitchen was amply equipped and again spacious enough for us to position the dog crate. The lounge area and courtyard patio were the perfect spots to chill after a day out and about. William was very proactive with communication and was able to respond quickly to any questions raised. Would highly recommend for anyone considering Dartmouth and we would definitely stay again!

Dartmoor Double Decker bus on an Alpaca Farm sleep

Joyce AnnRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Josh’s place is probably the best airbnb that we’ve been too.. even my 4 year old thinks its the best part of our holiday. Josh has been an absplute favorite with the kids too after he’s let them ride his tractor. (Luggages need to be transported with Josh’s tractor from the parking to the property as its a bit of a walk if not, he even helped us with loading it back). Everything youll need is there and even though there are 5 accomodations in the field, you have enough privacy for each. Roselyn the bus did not disappoint with comfort. Having lived in London for the last 10 years, it was surreal to sleep in a bus 🤣. Its spotless (as if its never been used before even though we know its such a busy accomodation). Honesty shop was a good concept too. There were wnough blankets to keep us cozy on the chilly outdood nights and the kitchen is fully equipped. The alpacas also made for a good experience for pur 3 kids. Its also plenty fo space for 8 people 👏🏼. Overall, cant recommend more!

The Cabin was absolutely lovely, exactly as described , if you are looking for a peaceful break, surrounded by nature, the only noises are the running stream and the bird song. A welcome bottle of wine and a well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean. A great stay.
