Waterfront holiday rentals in Torbay

Apartment was immaculate and a great size for a family of four. Location was excellent, close to the train and bus station and harbour. Plenty of shops and cafes within a short walking distance. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful - with a beautiful sea view that made it very special. Modern, clean and nicely decorated/equipped. We stayed as four women friends and it was perfect. The only thing I would say is that if you don’t know each other well or are physically large, the space is relatively small with only the one bathroom - which is clear from the listing - but worth bearing in mind.

We had a fabulous stay at Lucinda’s apartment - fantastic sea view and beachfront location in our favourite part of Torquay. Lovely airy and spacious accommodation on the second floor with huge sash windows to enjoy the view.

Had a fantastic stay at this lovely apartment. I mainly communicated with Fiona who was incredibly responsive and also very pleasant. We had a slight issue with the boiler on the first night but Fiona responded immediately. It didn’t spoil our stay. The apartment is homely and we settled in right away. Had everything we needed and was spotless when we arrived. It is a steep walk up and down into Torquay but this is the case for most places. We got fitter from the walks!

What a lovely welcoming fella. So helpful and quick to respond on any enquiry. Everything was home from home and they had thought of everything we could need throughout a short or long stay. Even fresh flowers in the kitchen and lounge. Milk in the fridge with a bottle of bubbly too. Tea and coffee to hand after a long journey. Clean and modernly decorated. Comfy beds and quality bed linen used. Toiletries provided - incase you couldn’t bring your own. Shower was powerful and spotless. Location, was perfect. Didn’t need to use the car, once parked on the driveway as the bus service was great. Child and dog friendly. So, much to see and do if you choose and/or just chill out inbetween. Great choice of accommodation and will definitely return again

We loved staying at Louise’s place. It was the perfect base for my husband’s sailing event and a short walk down to the harbour where there were lots of shops/cafes/restaurants. The apartment was extremely well equipped, very clean and spacious - certainly enough space for x4 adults and a couple of little ones. Louise was kind enough to leave a travel cot and highchair for our youngest. The parking was very handy too. We had a fantastic time in Torquay and will certainly be back.

A lovely house to accommodate our family while visiting relatives in Paignton , the house was immaculately clean ( I’ve never seen such a beautiful spotless bathroom) , full of all the amenities you’d ever need and positioned between two beaches and plenty of walks . The attention to detail with all the extras was much appreciated , there’s plenty of lovely towels , hairdryers , spare toiletries , condiments in the kitchen , high chair and even a bucket and spade . Lauren went over and above getting us a fan for the babies room and dropping it off within half an hour of us messaging. We really can’t fault the place and wouldn’t hesitate to return . Thank you Lauren and Jordan for a lovely place to stay .

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

We had a lovely stay here, we loved all the little extras which is so thoughtful. The location is amazing so close to everything. Would recommend this lovely house right by the beach and the town centre. We were there for the air show and had amazing views from the house. Stuart gave us excellent recommendations and was so helpful and kind, also responded so quickly as well.

Very special location, it blew us away. House was spacious but cosy at the same time. The only struggle was walking to the property, up and down the hill especially with the mountain of luggage we had.

I can’t recommend The Dragon’s Nest highly enough!! Stunning! An absolutely incredible home on 4 storeys, in the centre of Brixham, with glorious views of the Harbour. We stayed as a family of 8 adults for my Birthday. (My husband & I, our 3 grown-up children, & their partners.) We all had plenty of room! Even smallest double, (a beautiful cabin bed), was great! We loved the quirkiness of the place. So many interesting things to look at - Inside & out. Plus impressive tiered garden! Each eve we cooked a themed 3-course meal. Plenty of utensils, pots & pans, dishes, cutlery etc, for us all! The massive hob and ovens were perfect! The beautiful dining table extended, plus extra chairs. We enjoyed the Pac Man arcade games table too! The gorgeous upstairs lounge, had enough seating for all as well. The 4 toilets & various shower rooms, plus fabulous bath were ideal for a big family. We really had The Best Time! Thank you Lynn & Nick (& Sue) for everything! And communication was superb!

We had such a wonderful week in Berry Pomeroy. The accommodation was a wing of a manor house, and had a completely private and secluded feel with an enormous garden. The kids were entertained the whole week with a trampoline, row boat, chess set, table tennis, games room and a lovely garden to explore. We just loved the main Kitchen/Dining/Living room which is an elegant and very comfortable space to socialise, and even with 9 of us it felt so spacious! This accommodation feels like a home from home. Antonia and Rob were so helpful and responsive and they were ideal hosts. There are plenty of different areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings outside. The property is a little tricky to find but as long as you follow the instructions carefully its fine. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return again.

My wife and I had a great stay with our two daughters for a week over 1/2 term. The location is spectacular, on a secluded part of the Dart estuary. There is a great restaurant by the house that does a lovely breakfast and tasty evening meals. The area is lively during the day with people coming to eat and with families crabbing on the tidal pool but it is super quiet and peaceful in the mornings and evenings when the restaurant closes. There is lots for kids to do in the town, crabbing was a favourite but you can go kayaking from right outside the door and we saw a lot of groups of adults and kids having sailing lessons on the main estuary. Paddling boarding is popular in the area and you could get out at almost anytime of day, including on the tidal pool if the main estuary was very low. All in, the town is a real hidden gem and Chris’s house is in a prime location to make the most of it.

Thank you Ashley for an amazing couple of days! The flat is immaculate and so we'll stocked with everything you could need. It's prime location near the harbour was great as we were booked on some boat trips. The pictures and description were exactly as it was, which can sometimes be rare. Parking was a bit of a pain, but we knew that when we booked, we found a space and it didnt have an impact on the stay, I just became fitter!! Ashley was an amazing host, great communication and really helpful! I would highly recommend this place, and we have booked again already! Thank you

We stayed for the yearly pirate weekend and wanted somewhere close, but not too close. Its a few minutes walk up some steps to peace and quiet. The apartment was just beautiful with very well thought out fixtures. I personally could spend hours looking at the veiw and as the full panoramic was amazing. We will definitely be back next year

We’ve only ever visited Brixham for day trips and always wanted to stay longer and explore. This property is a perfect base for that. Located 5 mins walking from the harbour and many restaurants, coffee shops and pubs, but away from the crowds. Peaceful and private. The streets are narrow but with Liz’s instructions it was easy to find the place to drop off our bags and then park up in one of the long stay parking places. We settled in quickly and felt right at home. The apartment is exactly as described and in the photos provided. Liz was a very helpful and responsive host. Gave us lots of great recommendations for places to eat, walks to take and things to do. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. Thank you Liz!

We had a lovely stay at Claire's apartment. It was clean, cosy and just what was needed for a base from which to explore the area. It was lovely to have a great views across the harbour as well. Would definitely look out for this apartment again when visiting Torquay.

Loved our stay. Some blips with check in, which I assumed was with the app. The location was perfect for our needs,and family reunion, the apartment was well equipped, the view was perfect, finished our last day on the patio , with prosecco and seagull flock and flight , absolutely wonderful end to our stay. We certainly will return. The path from the garden helped with access to the marina and seafront. We certainly did enjoy our stay, pity it wasn't for longer, the sofa was extra comfy, bed linen was home from home . We also loved the quirky furnishings, ie the telescope, compass and the port hole mirrors 🙂. Basically the apartment was fab and as described. The view was equally fab by day as by night. A great place to unwind. Thank you to stefan , his wife and Cheryl for all their hospitality. 🙂

What a gem of a place! So glad we found this. Beautiful two storey apartment, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, large rooms with lovely high ceilings, had everything we needed and more. Beautiful sea views, ample free parking, friendly staff in apartment reception and hotel. Couldnt ask for me, would definitely stay again and highly recommend .

Lovely place, no issues. The only thing is the outdoor heated swimming pool is not open to apartment guests - we got confused as it was shown in the photos (only indoor pool and the tennis court for a small fee). The apartment and surrounding area was amazing- 5 stars all the way.

LOVED our stay in Torquay. The pre information and check in instructions were excellent and everything was easy to follow. Really liked the apartment and the views from the balcony were so beautiful. We were lucky and had some beautiful sunny warm days, the sun loungers provided were a lovely addition on these days as the outside area is a real sun trap. We contacted the hosts a few times and they were super responsive. The apartment has everything you need in it and the thoughtful provision of milk and juice when we arrived was a very nice touch. The walk into the town has lots and lots of steps/hills, we took a taxi a few times which was reasonably priced.
