House holiday rentals in Torbay

Absolutely lovely home , very responsive to messages, had an issue with the electrical gate it’s no one’s fault but they acted and responded so quickly. The only issue I had was with the pool not being open even though it’s listed in the title “ villa with pool “ and I searched air BnB using the great pool section . I was gutted because it did state in the more about section that the pool wasn’t open until may , I trusted that using the search with great pool would be enough but unfortunately It wasn’t, I did feel this was wrong listing a property with a pool and in the title but hiding the fact it wasn’t open in the click more section, this definitely needs changing.

The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the whole area. Helen was flexible with arrival and check in which made the holiday less stressful with small kids! Brixham is a lovely town to stay. The site would benefit from the new clubhouse pool & bar which was opening imminently, which we missed.

A fabulous property. Mandy and Lino were excellent hosts. Lots of room and everything was provided. The heritage railway running next to the property made it extra special and nostalgic. The pool was warm and the outsidde space very welcome. We took our two whippets who loved the garden and the walk down to Broadsands beach through the fields. The decor is beautiful and every bedroom is different. Mandys art work is amazing and really adds to the character of the property. Parking is off road down a short driveway. A quiet spot, no traffic noise, just birds and the occadional chuff of a steam engine. I have a feeling we'll be returning one day. In two words, fabulous, relaxing.

Clean, cozy and well equipped (kitchen, etc). Peaceful location and the extra amenities were great! (Swimming pool, etc). We would stay again.

It was an amazing stay, the place is apart of a big holiday ket that has a restaurant and spa. It exceeded expectations! All the staff at cary arms were really great and approachable. People will need to realise in advance how steep the hill is to get to the holiday homes. I had difficulty driving my car back up so Chris and Harry from the cary arms helped me out with that and I tree really appreciated it.

Lovely little cottage in Marldon village. Friendly, helpful hosts, easily available on site but we were left to holiday in peace otherwise. Happy to provide dog essentials had we needed them. Excellent welcome basket on arrival, plus milk, water and butter in fridge and more supplies in the bathroom. Kitchen equipment was great, everything we needed was already there. Comfy beds and sofas. Tv with Netflix, prime etc. Cottage was lovely and warm for rainy October weather. The garden was pretty and had a swimming pool which would’ve been superb in the summertime. Easy parking on site and close to the excellent local pub, The Church House Inn with its own car park. The cottage was cosy but we still had room for our two greyhounds and beds. All in all, a great base to explore beautiful south Devon.

We had such a lovely holiday, the park is in an ideal location with lovely facilities, our children loved the pool! The caravan was beautiful, clean and spacious and such great value for money! Great communication throughout as well, thank you.

Great home with outstanding facilities and location. Pool is a highlight, and hot tub right next to it which is great for when the kids get chilly! Fantastic playroom for them too. Boiling water tap for grown ups teas and coffee with good indoor and outdoor seating areas. Fun for all the family!

The accommodation was lovely, unfortunately her cleaners mixed up days for clean however Patricia sorted it out and within 30 minurtes the cleaners arrived and sorted everything out. The cleaners were lovely. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for everything Patricia.

A lovely house to accommodate our family while visiting relatives in Paignton , the house was immaculately clean ( I’ve never seen such a beautiful spotless bathroom) , full of all the amenities you’d ever need and positioned between two beaches and plenty of walks . The attention to detail with all the extras was much appreciated , there’s plenty of lovely towels , hairdryers , spare toiletries , condiments in the kitchen , high chair and even a bucket and spade . Lauren went over and above getting us a fan for the babies room and dropping it off within half an hour of us messaging. We really can’t fault the place and wouldn’t hesitate to return . Thank you Lauren and Jordan for a lovely place to stay .

it was a lovely home for our 3 nights exactly what we wanted, super friendly owners, walking distance to everything you needed, was the perfect location for us visiting family.

We absolutely loved our stay in Brixham. The house was lovely, perfect location for us, that took you straight down onto the harbour! Lovely and clean, warm, and nice outside space (we just wish the weather would have been better that we could have enjoyed it!!) the rooms are comfortable. Everything you need for a baby/littler one (high chair and travel cot, there was even little plates, and cutlery!!) lots of nice places in walking distance to eat and drink. And nice local walks. The stairs are steep to the top floor if you have little ones , but we were expecting this as an old fisherman cottage and made sure to watch our 3&1 year old. There is a stair gate as well you can pop on the door. We loved our stay and will be sure to come back!! Thank you

We had a wonderful few days staying at Smuggler's Cottage and exploring Brixham. The cottage is in a great location with absolutely beautiful views over the harbour from the sitting room and upstairs bedroom. It had everything we needed inside (spacious and comfy, well equipped kitchen), and a lovely outside patio, table and chairs for sitting out in the morning/evening to enjoy the views. The cottage is a short 5-minute walk from the centre of town/harbourside, either via steps or there's a step-free path. Thank you Kath - would definitely recommend and hope to return to Brixham again.

We had a lovely stay here, we loved all the little extras which is so thoughtful. The location is amazing so close to everything. Would recommend this lovely house right by the beach and the town centre. We were there for the air show and had amazing views from the house. Stuart gave us excellent recommendations and was so helpful and kind, also responded so quickly as well.

This cute little cottage was lovely to stay. Everything the host said it had was there plus a few more things. It was situated in a really good location with easy access to town and harbour. Would recommend to family and friends. I would also stay again.

The Dolphin’s is a fantastic place to stay. We were there for 9 days, beautiful clean accommodation and perfect surroundings. We would love to stay again, highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage with great access to Brixham and the harbour. Spotlessly clean, had everything we needed and felt right at home as soon as we arrived. A really wonderful place to explore Devon from. Hosts were very informative, friendly and responsive. We'd love to return!

Had a fabulous bank holiday weekend break in Brixham at Polly’s beautiful house. Well equipped kitchen made it easy for us to eat the house and Polly recommended some lovely spots to eat and drink. It’s in an excellent location for surrounding towns like Torquay and Totnes. Some nice secluded coves for swimming within 20 mins drive. Would thoroughly recommend, thanks Polly!

Julie waited for us at the property and gave us a lovely warm welcome, and a show-around. There was a welcome pack of goodies, and milk in the fridge so that we could have that all-important first cup of tea after a long haul. During our stay two of our party had a vehicle breakdown while out for the day, and we found ourselves in a pickle with keys. Julie kindly gave up some of her time to get an extra set of keys to us, and was so helpful and very understanding. We are eternally grateful to her for this. The property is lovely and homely, and I particularly liked the peace of the small garden. We would certainly come back.

We loved our stay at Michael and Katie’s place! Very private and peaceful, with everything we could have needed. The rooms were very spacious, clean and super comfy - we all slept well every night! The local recommendations were great, and extra little touches made us feel very welcome. We found the walk into town nice and relaxing, the way back was up steep hills but we didn’t mind it - for others staying there are 2 routes: Braddons Hill Road East is less steep. Check out the house manual and guest book for lots of ideas and recommendations of what to do in the area.

We loved our stay at Mary’s house, it was so lovley to have ample parking right outside, the house was large enough to have family over so we could host and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for big family dinners. Extra bonus was its dog friendly, the bottom of the garden isn’t fully fenced in but our dogs are good enough not to escape. We really enjoyed our say and we will book again for our next trip to visit family. 10/10 thank you again Mary 🥰

9 Water side is the most beautiful house it’s spacious well equipped for everything you need with lots of lovely little touches . The furniture and decor and design are all very high spec and a lot of thought has been put into this house. The views and outside space are spectacular. I cannot recommend this house highly enough. The gate at the bottom of the garden leads to a lovely walk and the beach. Sharon our host was truly amazing and nothing was too much trouble so helpful and kind . And the welcome Hamper was wonderful even Easter eggs ( there for Easter) 10 guests and still lots of room . Everyone had a fantastic time. Will definitely be booking this house again .
