Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

Relax in this cozy and peaceful Bed and Breakfast apartment with space for fun both indoors and outdoors. You have entrance from the garden side, private living room with a small French country kitchen, private bathroom and toilet as well as a bedroom with a good 140 cm wide bed. You are very welcome to use the garden, where there is the possibility of both entertainment and relaxation. There are several cozy corners with garden furniture that you are very welcome to use, just as there is a fireplace and barbecue. If you come in an electric car, you can charge it with us.

Bed linen, linens and towels are included in the price. Breakfast can be purchased. Within walking distance is Himmerland Football Golf and open garden by appointment. WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the fantastic nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city centre. There are 2 km to Pizzeria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

The home is located in rural surroundings with many opportunities for experiences in nature. Parking right at the door. "Aftægtshuset" is a home of 80 m2, of which 50 m2 is used by AirB&b guests. 2 beds with the possibility of additional bedding. Bathroom and kitchenette with refrigerator. Note that there is no stove. Try, for example, a hike on the Himmerland Trail, a fishing trip at the beautiful Simested Å, or visit the lovely Rosenpark and activity park. The area also offers exciting museums.

Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.
