Lovely cozy fishing cottage of 30 sqm. In the beautiful old harbor town by the Hærvejen. The house is located in the garden by the town's oldest fishing house from 1777 and has its own entrance from the street. The house contains a large living room with 4 bunk beds, a small toilet and bathroom, as well as a small kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and electric kettle and 2 hotplates. A covered terrace with shelter and a beautiful view of the fjord. Opposite is the Old Inn, which was a customs house in the old days when the salt (the white gold) was sailed here from Læsø by the Cathedral's sailing ship

You will find everything from garden furniture, hammock and outdoor activities in the form of games and a trampoline. Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

Here you will find nature, peace and plenty of cosiness in authentic surroundings. The house is the original cottage built around 1930, while we live in a newer house on the property. The house deserves to be lived in and cared for, and you – our guests, contribute to that. We also appreciate offering our guests a different type of holiday and on a budget.
