Unwind in this unique and tranquil space. I rent out my nice year-round home on beautiful Märsön – a quiet and close to nature location in the middle of Lake Mälaren. Perfect for those who want to get away from the stress and enjoy the autumn and winter but also add a golden edge to everyday life. You can relax on the sofa in front of the fire or explore nice exercise loops along the water, where there is also an outdoor gym, disc golf and a bowling alley. On the plot, I have a small house that I sometimes spend time in. Welcome here 🍂

Stallet

The small stable, which dates back to the 1600s, has been converted into a small guest apartment. There is no running water here, but there is an old-fashioned charming little kitchen with modern equipment. The toilet consists of a modern combustion toilet. A shower with hot water is available in an adjacent building. The farm is located in a quiet, old-fashioned village surrounded by forest and arable land, but with idyllic Mariefred and Gripsholm Castle around the corner. In the yard, you can meet dogs, cats, chickens and beehives.

Make new memories in this one-of-a-kind and family-friendly space. Here you live in a rural setting with walking distance to central Mariefred. The house is from late 1800 with a lot of charm. The house is on two floors with kitchen and two dining areas and large living room. 3 bedrooms , each of one is with sofa bed. To the house there is a large plot of land with lovely greenery in spring and summer. Two-level terrace with a south-facing dining area and lounge sofa. Trampoline, swing and sandbox on the grounds.

Are you a party looking for a rural home by Lake Mälaren, which has private beach and large areas with all the amenities available? Villa Gurli was built in 1912 and in the last year has undergone an extensive renovation to regain its former glory. With a private jetty/boat place, it is also possible to get here by boat. The accommodation is about 1 hour by car from Stockholm on beautiful Selaön, with proximity both to nature and rich wildlife. About 15 minutes away there are both Strängnäs and Mariefred.

Only about 200 meters from lake Skundern, we find this cozy red cottage of approximately 40 sqm. It has a large sun terrace where you can enjoy life and then head down to the lake where a rowing boat can be used. The house is situated on a large plot with a private entrance and views over fields and meadows. The distance to Stockholm is around 110km and Nyköping about 50km (Skavsta Airport). So you are close to everything and have the opportunity for everything from recreation to explorations!

Newly built modern cabin in the woods with amazing lakeview. The house was built in 2020 and is located on a hill near Lake Mälaren just 1 hour from Stockholm. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 of them with double bed and 1 with a bunk bed. All bedrooms have black out curtains so that the bedroom gets completely dark. 1 bathroom with a toilet and 1 guest toilet. There is also a newly built sauna.A large living room / kitchen with an amazing view through the large windows. Parties are not allowed.

17th century castle wing

Welcome to the south wing of Ekholmen Castle, which was built in 1632. Here you can sit out on the terrace and enjoy nature and your company. Adjacent to the property is a large English garden. The 150 square meter apartment is on the ground floor with your own entrance right out into the garden. The apartment above is empty, so you live in the house yourself. If you think farming is fun, the farm is 100 meters away and there is always the opportunity to help us feed the cows.

Typical Swedish country house 1h from Stockholm

This typical swedish house from late 19th century is located 12 km north of Malmköping. A medium sized lake for swimming and fishing is available 700 mtrs from the house. Rowing boat is available. There are a variety of nice places to visit and sightseeing nearby such as Gripsholm with the historic castle dating back to the 16th century. Moose, deer and other wild animals are abundant in the forests as well as blueberries, cranberries and mushrooms. Stockholm is 80 km away.
