Perfect for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy all four seasons, but also add a touch of luxury to their daily lives. Snuggle up on the sofa in front of the fire or explore the lovely exercise trails along the waterfront, where you’ll also find an outdoor gym, frisbee golf and a boules court. Come and stay in our cozy 19th century house in the heart of the farm. Ice skating in case of cold weather and sledding in case of a lot of snow in the yard. * Access to a wood-fired sauna is available for SEK 300 per session. * Grilling at the log cabin in the adjacent forest is available. * Beach at Lake Mälaren is a few kilometers away. * The center of Strängnäs is about half a mile from the farm. * Bedding and towels are brought by the guest, but can be rented for SEK 50 per guest. Pre-booked. * Eggs and potatoes are available for purchase on the farm.

Lovely apartment with patio centrally located in Mariefred

Apartment is centrally located in Mariefred's city center, close to Gripsholm Castle and Lake Mälaren's unique opportunity for swimming and boat trips. The train to Stockholm takes 40 minutes. The apartment has its own entrance from the yard. On the entrance level, there is a spacious hall and a large bathroom with shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer. On the upper floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen, toilet, two bedrooms and balcony overlooking Gripsholm Castle. Rented for at least three nights or more. A few minutes' walk from Sörmlandsleden and Lake Yngen. 6 beds, two bedrooms and a sofa bed. Large social areas. Within the same distance, you also have access to the small town's harbor with a few restaurants to choose from. Come for a long weekend with friends, cook around the kitchen island or book a private dinner in the "Gårdshuset." It is a beautiful environment where you can take a walk, a bike ride or swim in Lake Mälaren. Magasinet is separate from the host's home, with its own driveway. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet, or visit all the exciting sights in Mariefred or Strängnäs.

Stay among horses, sheep and chickens on beautiful Selaön

In a quiet and beautiful environment, you can relax, enjoy the social chickens in the garden and cuddle with the sheep in the meadow. Blombacka is adjacent to the mushroom forests and it takes 15 minutes to walk to a nice beach. 15-minute walk to ICA grocery store. Parking next to the house. No WiFi. Shower, toilet, fully equipped kitchen incl. fridge and freezer included. If there are more than two of you, there is an extra, cozy room with a 120-bed that can be booked for SEK 200/night.

A simple little house where you can sleep and prepare basic meals while enjoying everything that Mariefred has to offer. The house is only 15 sqm, so it’s small but cozy. There is a bed that is 140 cm wide, a small writing desk with a chair, and a small table with two stools. There is a TV with Netflix, Telia Play, and Disney+. There is also a small kitchenette with two hotplates and a portable fan. Parking is available on the street outside or elsewhere nearby.

Welcome to our bohemian cottage at Oppgården! We are very happy that you have chosen to rent our little cottage outside Strängnäs, Swedish idyll is probably the right description. Our first guest used the cottage as a writing retreat for a documentary. The couple who came after wanted to visit the Swedish countryside and hoped to see bears (note: there are no bears here). A third to recover and land in silence. What are your needs?

Historical idyll from the 1600s

Welcome to our carefully renovated house from the 1600s! Here you live next to Strängnäs Cathedral and have the city center nearby. Our charming house also has an exciting story to tell. The house has had the privilege of being included in the popular history and building conservation program on TV, SVT "Det sitter i väggarna" in the fall of 2023. Of course, cleaning, bed linens, towels and coffee and tea are included.
