Perfect for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy all four seasons, but also add a touch of luxury to their daily lives. Snuggle up on the sofa in front of the fire or explore the lovely exercise trails along the waterfront, where you’ll also find an outdoor gym, frisbee golf and a boules court. On the plot, I have a small house that I sometimes spend time in. Welcome here 💫

Högberga gård

Come and stay in our cozy 19th century house in the heart of the farm. Ice skating in case of cold weather and sledding in case of a lot of snow in the yard. * Access to a wood-fired sauna is available for SEK 300 per session. * Grilling at the log cabin in the adjacent forest is available. * Beach at Lake Mälaren is a few kilometers away. * The center of Strängnäs is about half a mile from the farm. * Bedding and towels are brought by the guest, but can be rented for SEK 50 per guest. Pre-booked. * Eggs and potatoes are available for purchase on the farm.

Strängnäs, lakeside accommodation centrally

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Park your car for free on the street and walk to the city center in 5 minutes. Within the same distance, you also have access to the small town's harbor with a few restaurants to choose from. Swimming area with small diving tower, tennis courts, bocce court, beach volleyball court and nice playground - all within a five-minute walk. The apartment has a double bed (160) and a sofa bed (140). Crib and high chair available.

Are you a group looking for a rural accommodation by Lake Mälaren, which has a private beach and large areas with all the amenities available? Villa Gurli was built in 1912 and has undergone an extensive renovation in the last year to regain its former glory. With a private jetty/marina, it is also possible to get here by boat. The accommodation is about 1 hour by car from Stockholm on beautiful Selaön, with proximity to both nature and rich wildlife. About 15 minutes away are both Strängnäs and Mariefred.

Come for a long weekend with friends, cook around the kitchen island or book a private dinner in the "Gårdshuset." It is a beautiful environment where you can take a walk, a bike ride or swim in Lake Mälaren. Magasinet is separate from the host's home, with its own driveway. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet, or visit all the exciting sights in Mariefred or Strängnäs.

Ekbacka Lake house - Cabin with lake view

Newly built modern cabin in the woods with amazing lakeview. The house was built in 2020 and is located on a hill near Lake Mälaren just 1 hour from Stockholm. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 of them with double bed and 1 with a bunk bed. All bedrooms have black out curtains so that the bedroom gets completely dark. 1 bathroom with a toilet and 1 guest toilet. There is also a newly built sauna.A large living room / kitchen with an amazing view through the large windows. Parties are not allowed.

Peaceful and comfortable accommodation in Söderby Strandhage

Plocka svamp, fiska eller bara ta det lugnt. Mycket fridfullt, sjönära semesterboende jordbrukslandskap mitt i Mälaren, 1 timme från Stockholm. Här bor du vid vägs ände i en stillsam miljö, med ett lugn och en frid som är svår att hitta i en så central region som Mälardalen. Huset har alla bekvämligheter, idyllisk omgivning och tillgång till egen brygga 3 minuter bort. Egen bil är att rekommendera. Cyklar finns att hyra. Båt finns att hyra enligt separt överenskommelse.

Välkommen till denna helt nybyggda pärla i Stallarholmen vid Mälaren. Här bor du ljust och modernt med 5-7 sängplatser. Huset ligger på en vacker tomt med utsikt över öppna fält – utan insyn från grannar. Tillgång till privat tennisbana och fina badplatser inom promenadavstånd. Området bjuder på flera sevärdheter: Mariefred, Gripsholms slott och charmiga gårdsbutiker. Ett perfekt boende för den som söker lugn och natur – men med närhet till aktiviteter och kultur.

The Torp at Oppgården

Welcome to our bohemian cottage at Oppgården! We are very happy that you have chosen to rent our little cottage outside Strängnäs, Swedish idyll is probably the right description. Our first guest used the cottage as a writing retreat for a documentary. The couple who came after wanted to visit the Swedish countryside and hoped to see bears (note: there are no bears here). A third to recover and land in silence. What are your needs?

Dream house directly on the lake with sauna

Enjoy complete tranquility at a gorgeous spot on earth. The well appointed and cozy house is located directly on a tranquil lake with its own small sandy beach and private pier, as well as a huge sun deck. Overlooking the sparkling lake, guarding the glittering lake and taking trips to the beautiful surroundings not far from Stockholm from here. We cannot accept bookings of groups with more than 4 adults (plus children).

Guesthouse - at the shore of Lake Mälaren

We are far from the big city, but still only 1 hour from Stockholm, with a nice view of Lake Mälaren and the opportunity to sit on our jetty at sunset. Our guest house is about 45 sqm with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom (180 cm bed) and a small living room with sofa bed (140 cm). The guest house is built together with the main building and has its own balcony.
