Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sønderborg

We stayed with our family in the accommodation for a week. The house and garden are really great. There were so many play options for our child. The hosts were always very helpful and super nice. The amenities in the whole house were great. The furnishings are tasteful and modern. We lacked nothing. The shopping facilities are easy to reach by car, it is nice and quiet and very close to nature. The beach was great and easy to visit on foot. We were there with two dogs and there was also equipment for the two, which really pleased us. We can really recommend Vanessa's accommodation! Thank you for the great holiday

I had a great time in Fynshav. Close to the beach, bike/hiking trails right outside the door and a small supermarket just around the corner. Perfect location to relax and unwind. The accommodation was very clean and comfortably furnished - you felt right at home! ☺️ Everything was as described. The house also had documents with restaurant tips and a map of the area. I'd love to come back again - it was great! Highly recommended! ☺️

We've been there for the second time. It was just as nice as the first time. Except for the weather... :) But also very comfortable in the rain.

The house is exactly as described. Great location on the water with private path to the Flensburg Fjord. Beautiful hiking trail in front of the front door that leads along the water. In the house are all utensils for a nice stay. We really enjoyed the long weekend!

Great location and views! Nice house with everything we needed!

Finn and Bente were good hosts, and had written a warm welcome to us! We chose the house because of its location and the good space. Everything worked and clear signage helped us there when Google would have sent us in the opposite direction. The good space did everything for us, good parking options, and quick answers from Finn were important. Super place!

Travelling alone, 60+, May/June 2025, 5 days, without a car. Perfect for the first half of the Gendarmen Path, with local buses or rental bikes (in Grasten ;). Net directly in the picturesque village. The apartment really had EVERYTHING you could need. Very modern, artistic, cosy, Danish. Lajla was always available for questions and exchange by email (or mobile phone), but everything was so well explained and directed on site with instructions that I could simply get into the holiday pleasure. Would come again:)

We had a very nice time in Christine's apartment because it was very nice and clean. Meanwhile, there is an even more beautiful sofa than the one in the pictures. The chairs in the outdoor lighting could possibly be exchanged for more comfortable ones. The location was not ideal for us because public transport is rare, very expensive and relatively far away. But Christine was a very great host and we had a lot of peace and relaxation in the apartment.

We were very pleased! The apartment is small, but we had everything we needed. The view of the fjord and the garden is wonderful from the terrace and even from the bed! Caner is very friendly and uncomplicated. We would love to come back!

Heller and Peter's place is super cozy and nicely decorated There were fresh flowers and a small bottle of wine as a welcome gift ... and then it is right down to the water with a beautiful view and a small harbour from which there is a bathing jetty and where you can swim from We'd love to come again ☀️

Charlotte has been a very nice host, a cheerful person you can always ask for advice. Your dog and mine got along almost immediately :) I can really recommend the house to anyone who wants to switch off. We would be happy to come back. Best regards, David and Inka

We were in Flensburg for a week and probably couldn't have had better accommodation than the HYGGE apartment of Suse. Even before arrival, communication with her was always super uncomplicated, fast and friendly. Since we were travelling with our son (almost 3), we were even provided with a high chair and a travel cot, which saved us a lot of stress and space in the boot. The apartment was quick and easy to find and we rarely felt so quickly at home when entering somewhere. It's like the name says, "hygge". Small and fine. Very tastefully decorated and everything you need is available. If we had any questions, Suse was always available via the app and when we met her, there was always time for a little chat. The location is great if you want to get into the city quickly but still have your peace and quiet. We thank Suse from the bottom of our hearts and look forward to seeing her again.

Nice place near the center of Aabenraa. Easy and flexible check-in with lockbox. Good instructions before arrival so it was easy to find. The stairs to the apartment are very steep and Ejner definitely not for the elderly or anyone who are unsure of their legs. (it said it was steep in the description, so we were prepared for it). The bathroom occasionally had a sewer similar smell. The dampers in the shower stall had a few moisture stains and deposits of lime. Everything worked as it should.

Jule was very nice and accommodating at check-in. Very quiet and perfectly located on the Baltic Sea Cycle Route and beautiful hiking trails. The chickens were also very trusting. Thank you for the wonderful time. Martina & Ingo

Nina's place is a little gem - a brilliant place to stay in Flensburg, and Nina is quite the attentive host. I highly recommend this place. Will definitively book again if I find my way to Flensburg another time.

Maria is a great host. The place is uniquely beautiful with good opportunities for cycling and hiking. As a guest, you have access to Maria's garden, which is wonderful and breathtakingly beautiful.

I rented this property for my parents. They were very enthusiastic. Ground floor, very practically furnished and equipped with all comforts. Langballigau is a lively environment and the beautiful conservatory in particular is an asset. (maybe a second lazy chair here?). Nothing but praise, also about the reception and the service.
