Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Denmark

We had a lovely time staying at Jacob and Mette’s place. It is clearly a much-loved family home and we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The outside space in particular was perfect. And it’s just a short walk to the sea with plenty of beaches to choose from.

Great apartment for 4 persons (2 adults & 2 teenage kids). Public transport is nearby and it takes 20 - 30 minutes to get to the city. House was clean and the welcome by the host was good. We enjoyed staying in the house!

The place was really nice, homey and cozy! High standard! Communication between us and the host has from the start been very service minded and extremely friendly. The host went out of their way to make us feel at home from the start and when the weather wasn't with us, the host was quick to make suggestions and offers that went beyond what to expect. We would recommend this home to anyone who has children and wants to stay centrally for exploring the South Jutland neighborhood.

Our first Airbnb home. We were positively surprised, everything was as described and the host Bjørn was very friendly and responded quickly and responded quickly. Perfect for families. We were comfortable. Thank you :)

The house is spacious and cosy, they had all the necessary amenities. It was a great well equipped summerhouse. Also everything was clean.

9 of us stayed at Alisha’s beautiful home for 3 nights. We found it very spacious. The children loved playing with the available toys/lego and particularly enjoyed the swing and trampoline in the garden. The neighbourhood was very quiet and within walking distance to the bus stop and supermarket. The house had everything we needed and plenty towels and spare toilet roll in the shower room. The kitchen was well equipped with enough cutlery, mugs, plates etc. Both Alisha and husband, Rob, were very accommodating and responsive, answering any queries we had. The only negative was there were no locks on the toilet doors, however, this was not a major issue. I would recommend staying here, we had a great visit!

It was a brilliant stay for us. We were there with 6 adults, 3 infants and 2 dogs. We felt right at home from second one. The house and the enchanting garden invite you to enjoy. The household is super convenient. In the evening in the hot tub, see the starry sky or the view from the treehouse have been a dream. Absolutely recommended and worth the place every penny.

A perfect stay with kids and family, the house is spacious, clean and warm. We definitely feel like home. Very recommended to stay if you want to visit Lego House and Legoland. Thanks Marianne and mom for great hospitality.

A really good accommodation to visit Copenhagen!

Simon's place was perfect for our trip to Copenhagen. The location was extremely close to the Metro, lots of restaurants, and some great parks for kids. It was very walkable but not too noisy. The beds were very comfortable, and the apartment was very clean. Simon was very communicative and flexible with check-in, and Frederiksberg was a wonderful neighborhood to stay with my friends and their young son. I would highly recommend staying here!

Staying at Elsebeth's was great. The apartment is perfectly located. Elsebeth is very reactive and arrageant. We can only recommand the stay there!

Emilie and Jonathan are pleasant and communicative hosts in both Danish and English. The apartment was perfect for a family with two adults and two children. Quiet surroundings and an apartment with soul 😊

Very nice place to stay. It was very convenient that the property was within walking distance of the airport. Public transport and shopping are also quickly reached. The communication went smoothly. We lacked nothing.

Feel like home at the moment we step in the apartment. Setup is simple, warm and welcoming. It is a nice residential area with very convenient shopping mall and metro station. Highly recommend

My sister and I traveled to Aarhus with my sister's little 5 year old and we all had a fantastic time! Eline, Anders and their own 5 year old daughter Dagmar were wonderful hosts, and we felt right at home in their charming apartment under the roof! The beds were super comfy and the place was well stocked with everything - even including children's toys! The location is great - just a few steps into the Latin Quarter shopping district, and great bus and tram connections to all the attractions Aarhus has to offer. There is a great playground a block away with goats, rabbits and parakeets, too. We loved our stay - thank you Eline and Family!

Pros: This apartment is small but in a lovely 1890s? building with a great courtyard. The location is one stop away from the central train station, Tivoli, & several museums. I loved that my teenagers got a chance to see & appreciate how a Danish family truly loves in the city. Though small to us, there was a space for everyone to go to get away from each other if need be. Full kitchen & fridge for a quick meal or sandwiches to go. Lovely balcony to enjoy the long evenings & a great neighborhood to explore. We all felt safe & had a wonderful time. Know upfront: The bathroom is a long galley style wet room. The shower, sink, & toilet are all together. Due to the age of the building, bathrooms are a bit tricky to modernize so… the shower is the first space you see when you enter the room. Once all the showers are finished, you have to squeeze to floor, WELL, so it can dry before people need the room again. Jeppe does not add a cleaning fee but he asks you to clean before you leave.

One of our best AirBnB stays ever. Christina was a SUBERB host — kind, responsive, helpful, a wealth of local recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for more. The apartment was delightful. GREAT location — around the corner from Torvehallerne, walkable to the entire city, and right at the Nørreport station for the best possible accessibility to transit. (Direct trains to airport, Malmö, and really everywhere else you’d want to go.) Even though it’s central, it’s remarkably quiet because it faces out onto two courtyards rather than a street. Plus, the apartment is decorated with great style — eclectic, idiosyncratic, beautiful, artistic. And it was spotless. And the beds and pillows were great. And there's great natural light. l could go on, but I’m running out of characters. Side note -- the upstairs bedroom was just about the perfect room for our 20-year-old daughter. Private, great views, great light. Just perfect. We would absolutely stay here again. No notes.

Very great host , landed early , and was given free early check in with the availability she had. Fast and responsive host!!!! Easy to get into the property following the clear instructions. Great location and accessible to and from city. Comfy bed and made me feel right at home. Only downside was the shower pressure is low but that didn’t affect my stay !! Would stay here again next time I’m in Aalborg !!!

Beautiful apartment in lovely neighbourhood with excellent transport links to city centre. Helene was a superb host - kind and thoughtful and went out of her way to make it a very special trip for us and our young daughters. We would love to visit later in the year to enjoy the parks and explore more outdoors but had a very special new year's eve watching the many fireworks with a superb view and also enjoyed the beautiful Tivoli in its festive splendour. Copenhagen was an excellent location to visit with children. As well as Tivoli we particularly enjoyed The Experimentarium, Tube and Planetarium. We found getting the 5C bus from a short walk away very easy but also took the Metro and train for days out and all were excellent. Also many supermarkets a short walk away. Thanks Helene for a wonderful stay.
