Holiday rentals with a kayak in Denmark

A lovely house that is super creative and charmingly furnished. It has a fantastic (and very nicely fenced) garden and terraces. Very close to the beach. We enjoyed it. The only downside was the decor of the kitchen (such as kettle, plates, cutlery, pans and the like). It was very simple in terms of points.

We had a wonderful time in this small, quiet oasis. The house is very 'hyggelig', the view of the Vejle fjord is fantastic and the terrace invites you to relax and linger. The fact that we were also allowed to use the kayaks was a nice thing. It was great all around and we'd love to come back. Thank you Pia.

This is a beautiful home. Better than the pictures. We loved the private enjoyment of the beach, and cozying up by the fire when it was chilly. It is a great home!

Nice old cottage. Has 1000 small things in it that one can find something relatable. Has no WiFi but games console kept kids engaged. When we entered the house it had a musty smell like old cottages. I wasn’t expecting that type of smell. We opened windows and doors until we felt it’s ventilated enough. Beach front so perfect for summers. Sandra is very helpful and quickly responded to queries such as if the house had heating and how to get that working. Although summer, weather had turned cold and rainy so needed heating. Overall great stay for the night. Comfortable beds. Big bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen.

Morten has been the perfect host. and his apartment is an authentic luxury.

Great little house with direct access to the sea in a quiet little town. The wood-heated pool was a dream in our autumnal weather: looking at the misty sea at a pleasant 39 degrees had something. In the village there is a small supermarket that is very well equipped. Other firewood can also be bought in the village. The house is very nicely decorated and especially the kitchen really has everything you need: from the waffle iron to the egg cup. Niels and Agna were very good hosts: always quick to reach and very friendly. Clear recommendation!

I can only recommend this place. It’s a stunning view. Beautiful summerhouse and everything was as expected.

Lovely house with room for 6 people in lovely surroundings. Close to the water, Møns klint and Mønis. We had a visit from fallow deer in the garden. Good service from the owners

We had a wonderful stay at Jens’ house. Everything was as described and the communication with Jens was always very good. The house is not huge, but was perfect for us (family of 3) and especially the kitchen is very well equipped. We enjoyed the big garden and the beautiful beach in walking distance. We tried several beaches in the region and this was definitely our favorite one. We also appreciated the indoor and outdoor toys that were in the house as well as the fact that Jens put several bikes (women's and children) at our disposal. We would come again any time!

Top (quiet) location in full nature near Copenhagen. Train by bike to Copenhagen. Station a 6 minutes from the house. Kitchen was well equipped with everything. Tip : dark curtains in the bedroom. See you next time !!

We loved our stay at the house: spacy open kitchen with everything you might need, lots of windows, daily visits of deers in the garden, 10 minutes walk to the beach with the possibility of kajaking. Susanne and Thomas are very friendly and responsive! Thank you again!

Bente was a communicative and helpful host. We spend Christmas here, and she even decorated the house before we arrived! Everything was clean and easy, the house already warmed up, beds were amazing, 60ies nostalgia through the roof. Would definitely come back :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautifully situated in a dead end, nice and quiet and surrounded by nature. The house is equipped with everything you need and is really cozy. We would definitely come back.

We had a great time in Henrik's summer house. The house is furnished with a lot of charm and attention to detail. Everything you need is available. It is very clean and offers a beautiful view over a field, the Venø Bugt into the town of Struer, from the porch and kitchen window. The surrounding area is perfect for hiking, biking or larger exploration trips by car or motorcycle. With air conditioning and a fireplace, you'll be nice and warm in the house even on colder days. Henrik is a friendly, helpful and very service-oriented host. He makes you feel right at home.

Super cozy little cottage with lovely garden and everything that belongs in a summerhouse. Lenette was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. We are a family of 5 + dogs. We stayed at the house for two nights and had a lovely weekend.

It was nice that there were boats available, so we sailed on a lovely trip on Stavns fjord.

We had a lovely stay at Inge’s lovely summerhouse. It is super charming, well equipped and fully aligned to the listing. Inger was always very responsive and helpful and made us feel right at home. Can strongly recommend for kids families as well with the nice garden, toys and little playground outside

We stayed in Steen's cottage only one night but had time to enjoy cooking ourselves a barbecue in front of the cottage by the lakeside. Everything was as described and Steen was helpful and easy to reach. Even if it in the same place as the main house, the cottage, porch and barbecue area felt very private as it is surrounded by forest. Would recommend!

This cottage is definitely a highlight in every sense. Especially the attention to all the small details beginning from a more than fully equipped kitchen which leaves no wishes open to the Christmas tree left an immediate feeling to be at home. Needless to say, that everything was well prepared and clean and tidy. Our host Allan left clear instructions how to get his place and how to access it. Whenever we had a questions, his answer came in minutes. So all in all, we enjoyed our stay at this little gem, even if it was only for 3 days, unfortunately. It was a lovely weekend with good friends, nice food, games and walks. Nice house, first summerhouse I have experienced sharp knives in, which is very much appreciated for cutting salad and more. We all slept well and enjoyed the stay.

Anne-Sofie's place is extremely faithful to the listing photos. The decor is neat and it feels like home. The garden is completely fenced, which was perfect for our dog and cat. When we arrived, it was very hot in the house, but we were able to turn on the A/C and ventilate at the end of the day when it was cooler (but beware of mosquitoes). Although we did not meet Anne-Sofie, she was able to answer our questions very quickly, whether for the house or for tourist questions. We had a lovely stay. Good location, right next to a walking path to the fjord and 5 minutes drive from Olsted where you can find supermarket, pizzeria,... The camp next door was not noisy. Thank you for everything Anne-Sofie 😊

Lovely and idyllic summerhouse with the loveliest view of the water. We really enjoyed our stay. It was easy to find, easy to get in, and Birgitte was incredibly helpful and a lovely host. The heat was on when we arrived and everything worked as it should. Clean and tidy all around.

I can't review the listing without including the park in the subjective review. But for the time being ONLY related to the place, I immediately noticed how clean it is. The place is very cozy and has everything you need, except duvet cover and towels (as described). The park offers a great offer, for any weather and thus enhances the stay and the review of the accommodation neatly.

Mette is a great hostess!👍 Since we arrived in uncomfortable weather, it was very pleasant that the heating had already been turned on. It was our Christmas holiday and on request Mette provided a small tree and jewelry. Thanks again for that!The home is homey and has some pretty touches. However, the bathroom is very,very small, you have to like each other...😉 In the summer months it may be suitable for 5 guests, in winter this is at least difficult for us to imagine. Unfortunately, in bad weather you can't use the beautiful terraces because there is no canopy at any point. We observed deer,squirrels & acorns. Great is the short way to the beach, we used this daily. 👍We recommend Mette as a host & the cabin very much,👍 maybe we'll be back. Then we choose the slightly larger cottage nearby that Mette also offers 😉
