Recommended to see in the nearby area: Old ruins from World War II. Rich island kingdom where you can walk all the way to the lighthouse. Gulatingsparken, 20 minutes by car. Bicycle paths. In the winter season you can experience the Northern Lights, or beautiful starry sky. The ferry goes across the fjord, and to Solund. (free ferry) Remember to shop before you arrive, there is no shop in Rutledal. Welcome :)

The cabin is a perfect starting point for trips both inwards and outwards of the fjord if you want to experience more of the beautiful surrounding area. A real gem for those who want to find peace in idyllic western Norwegian nature.

Gas refrigerator and gas burner, solar cell for charging. You can rent a hot tub, electric bicycles, SUP boards or a snazzy Fiat 500 to drive around (for a fee, NOK 1500 for the hot tub). Great hiking opportunities in the community. Mountains and water! Park up on the farm and walk down about 250 meters to the cabin. The hot tub and shower are located next to the main house. Idyllic farmhouse close to the fjord in the fruit village of Slinde. The house is originally from 1914 and refurbished in 2006. Beautiful views and access to private jetty. Fine possibilities for hiking, skiing, kayaking and cycling in the area. 15 minutes outside Sogndalsfjøra and 5 minutes from Leikanger. 30 minutes from the ski resort. 40 minutes to Sogndal Airport, Haukåsen. The house has 3 bedrooms, a single bed in the living room (open solution without door) and extra bed, fully equipped kitchen, private entrance and patio.

Nice trips nearby, including Vallestadfossen which is 500 meters away. Mountain trips are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This is free. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.
