Beachfront holiday rental in Sognefjord

Cozy house. We spent two nights with our 2.5 year old daughter. We visited the sheep who lived longer out on Øyen. The small library was very popular. The kitchen was well equipped, with several waffles!

Amazing experience! We stayed in the cabin for 2 days but I’d easily spend in the house a week or two. Perfect location right next to the water with mountains around. 3 isolated bedrooms, nice wooden stove, 100% equipped kitchen, even the dishes are super beautiful Absolutely worth all the good reviews, thank you!

Beautiful place. Great location and scenic view! Mr. Sverre is very friendly and helpful. Even we had the very last minute booking and check in after sunset. He's still walk us around and give all the informations we need. Feel like home and local. Very warm and touching especially when we are in the foreign country. All the equipments are very easy to use. Very comfortable stay. Pleasant journey!

Amazing views, very comfortable and roomy with ample storage for luggage and clothes. This was our favorite place we stayed during our trip to Norway. Our kids loved being able to jump into the fjord. I loved drinking my coffee on the upper patio in the morning. Wish we would’ve booked one more night there. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful place! It felt like visiting a friend's house; so very homey and warm with all their sweet photos. The view was incredible- we loved taking our time in the morning, drinking coffee and just staring out at the fjord! We had everything we needed to be comfortable and Lindy was very responsive. I would love to visit again someday.

Beautiful stay in "Havgløtt" - so quiet and peaceful to be close to the sea. Enchanting steep rocks surround the cabin, and you can feel the history here. I swam every day even though the water was freezing. My dog loved it here, too! She hardly wanted to come inside. The cabin is old-fashioned in a cozy way - this time of year (March) it's good to keep the fire going to stay warm. Christian is a wonderful host, ready to help with any question or request you might have.

Our family had a truly wonderful time during our stay. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The property and surroundings offered amazing views and was extremely quiet and peaceful. The property was perfectly located for our family to enjoy the tranquility of the location as well as close enough to the city for activities. Ole Petter was a wonderful host, always responsive to any questions we had and more than happy to provide recommendations to help us enjoy our stay.

The stay at May‘s place was fantastic. Stunning views, awesome house, great communication with the host. One of the best equipped accommodations I have ever stayed at. Lovely interior, spectacular outside and the bot house is a true gem. We had a great time and can highly recommend.

Villa med panoramautsikt is a very beautiful spacious retreat nestled in the hills of Fusa Commune. We travelled by car easily from Bergen via a short ferry. The house is well equipped for winter and summer with sauna, swimming pool, barbecue area & lots of space inside & out to relax. The area has very beautiful walks & we were lucky to find a small local shop open on a Saturday- Eikhaugen Gjestegard - for delicious cinnamon buns & coffee and some great food gifts! Jorunn was very helpful with information before we arrived, very welcoming & the house was clean & very comfortable. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

During our camping trip we took shelter in this home during a rainy day and one night. It’s a fantastic, small, cosy cottage so it was great to have a day inside in this house. The view is amazing and we saw a beautiful rainbow over the fjord. I can imagine that if the weather is nice that you can enjoy sitting in the garden.

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

Otherwise is a perfect host who is helpful and very flexible. I was allowed to use the boat and even the Hings (boat as indicated for a fee). Beautiful location for walks and (for me especially) fishing (cod, pollak, Leng, squid, scarf and even a shark).

The accommodation is quiet and beautifully located on an island, which is reached via a pier. The associated gazebo invites you to magnificent sunsets with views of the fjord. Frode is a very friendly host and always available!

We had the best time at Johanne and Alexsander’s place! It is so beautiful, comfortable and peaceful. It’s in a great location with walking routes right from the house and the new sauna with views over the fjord is amazing! Johanne and Alexsander are both really helpful and responsive hosts, they helped out us out with recommendations for walking routes. We will definitely be back!

Great place, great experience, great host. Bonus was a light show in the sky- aurora on January 1st was something we will never forget.

What a place and what a host. I'm loathe almost to review as I want it to myself. Great view, great house that had absolutely everything we needed to stay for four weeks. Gunn answered all my petty annoying questions throughout the stay. me and my wife felt right at home and to be frank were depressed coming back to our boring high street home. Couldn't recommend the place more if I tried.

we had a really lovely stay. The place is wonderfully charming, in a great, fjord side location with wonderful views. the amenities are fantastic, with a jacuzzi, sauna, and kayaks. We could not have asked for a better stay. edmondo

The house is wonderful, has all the amenities and overlooks the water, with views that leave you breathless. It is completely surrounded by nature, quiet and has outdoor areas to relax and fully enjoy the view of the fjord. The hosts made us find everything in order and provide a detailed booklet that contains all the information you need to make your stay work in the best possible way. We also tried the sauna, what can I say, a truly unique experience! Warming up in the sauna and cooling off directly in the cold sea is something worth trying. The only small negative note is the location, compared to Bergen it is 40 minutes by bus.

Very cozy and well-equipped apartment. An absolute dream. 😍 The area where the house is located and the house itself is actually so much more impressive than in the photos. Beautiful. 🤩 Perfectly clean - such a clean space is rarely seen. Everything you need for a short or longer stay is there. Very private and peaceful setting. Friendly landlord who provided great information in advance. 😊 Absolutely recommended.
