Well-equipped cabin from 2020/1850 by Hestadfjorden

The cabin is 120 sqm and was completed in the spring of 2020. The cabin is of very high quality with "Madsstova" from before 1850 - originally from Jølster. The cabin has 2 fireplaces, laundry room and sauna. At the cabin there is a covered patio and boat and canoe can be provided, but must be booked separately. To fish in the water you have to buy a fishing license. The cabin is located by Viksdalsvatnet/Hestadfjorden and in a great hiking area. Further up the valley you come to Gaularfjellet and over to Sogn. In the opposite direction is Førde with 13,000 inhabitants

Imagine a few days where you can disconnect from everyday life and instead connect to nature. Sharpen your senses, wake up to the sound of birdsong and magnificent views of Sognefjorden. Just peace, quiet, rustling over the pine trees and fire in the wood stove. Seldalen is an old mountain pasture with a traditional, simple West Norwegian mountain cabin. Don't expect sunshine every day - nature is weather, and you have to adapt to it! Go hiking from fjord to mountain, enjoy the vertical landscape and end the day with a refreshing swim in Huldrekulpen.

Gamlastova

Old cozy timber house from 1835. Renovated in 2014, new bathroom, new kitchen, loft with 2 beds and a bedroom with double bed. The living room has been kept in the old style. The house is located on a farm where there are sheep. Great space if you want quiet surroundings. We have a cat on the farm. Nice view over Sognefjorden. Approx. 1.5 km to the convenience store (self-service open every day 7 am - 11 pm) Feios is a small village located 20 km from Vik. Many nice hiking opportunities. You have nature surrounding you. Part of a detached house with fjord views. 100 meters from the beach. Private floating jetty for fishing and swimming. Bathing ladder is fitted. Beach nearby. Possibility of renting a boat by appointment. The house has a living room, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Large terrace with good sun conditions and views of Sognefjorden. Access to nature and trails. 5 minutes to grocery store. (Rental unit in the basement of the house with a tenant). Bed linen and towels can be rented, NOK 270 per person. Possibility to charge electric car (NOK 150)

Gamlestova at Juv

Juv is much more than just a house and a bed! Gamlestova was the original farmhouse and has the same amazing views as Juvsøyna on Juv and Gamletunet on Juv. From the canopy bed in the living room you can wake up to the sunrise and if you are lucky follow a tourist boat on its way to Olden with your eyes. In the evening you can fire up the stove, feel the good heat, read a good book and fall asleep to the light of the flames and the sound of the wood stove nearby. NB! Outdoor hot tub and car charger are not included in the rental price.

Idyllic summer cottage by the waterfront in Jølster

Welcome to Jølster! This summer cottage is idyllically located on the waterfront at Jølstravatnet, with a stunning view. Enjoy late or active days in the immediate vicinity of both the sea and mountains. The outdoor area is large, and here you can enjoy long summer days, go out with the rowboat (included), swim in crystal clear water, try out SUP boards or kayak (which is also included). Hatlestu - Fjærland Cottages

With beautiful views of Fjærlandsfjorden you will find this cozy cabin. Here you are a short distance from exciting mountain trips with different difficulty levels. The cabin has a mini kitchen, fridge and microwave. No dishwasher or oven. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Living room with lounge group, dining table and a cozy fireplace. Covered veranda. Boat is available in the summer months. The cabin is located 40 km from Sogndal, about 30 km from Sogndal ski center, Hodlekve. A local Joker store is only 3 km from the cabin.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. In this cozy cottage you live in beautiful natural surroundings. River and mountain views from the window and on the terrace. Nice trips nearby, including Vallestadfossen which is 500 meters away. Mountain trips are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This is free. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.
