The modern cabin from 2022 is located in the beach zone on Herlandsneset at the end of Atløy in Askvoll Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane. The plot is sunny with panoramic sea views that can be enjoyed from the cabin's hot tub. There is a fabulous view from the cabin towards the island of Kinn in the northwest, a landmark and the area is known as a sailing landmark along the coast. To the southwest you can see the well-known viewpoint Brurastakken and the popular hiking island Alden also called Norske Hesten. With the cabin's motorboat you can travel there and to Værlandet and Bulandet.

The house is located 35m from the parking lot in sloping terrain. Small sandy beach and common barbecue/outdoor area nearby. 400 m to Sæbø center with grocery stores, niche stores, hotels and campsite. The house is situated by the Sognefjord; safety is important, as weather conditions by the fjord can change rapidly, and rocky areas can become slippery in wet weather or due to wave action. Life jackets are available in the laundry room; Please leave the house as you found it and would like to find it.

Our house is located on the way to the Stegastein lookout, so our patio guarantees an astonishing view over the fjord. BBQ available on the premises. 20 minute by walk from Aurland center and for only 100 kr extra we can pick you up from or drive you down directly to the bus station.
