Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sicily

This our second visit to Francesco’s house which says it all. We will be back for a third visit when time allows. Fully recommend. Francesco is a wonderful host and his house is the perfect place for a holiday in the hills.

We were in Mondello in July 2024 and had a fantastic vacation. The beaches and the turquoise blue sea were stunningly beautiful. The apartment of our host Gabriella was just as beautiful as in the pictures, very clean and well appointed. We didn't lack anything. The terrace provides shade during the day and invites you to a glass of wine in the evening – simply beautiful. Gabriella is a warm and loving host who can always be reached by phone. A special experience was when we closed the front door in the middle of the night and the key was inside. We called Gabriella, and her husband came right away to help us. We are very grateful for that. Gabriella was always available for questions and useful tips. We felt very comfortable with her – it doesn't get any better than that. What a nice surprise! Peaceful accommodation in the countryside, very clean ... functional kitchen, large bathroom, comfortable beds... Mark was adorable: 48 hours before our arrival we had an explanatory video to arrive at the accommodation... the same day at 12:00 p.m. we had a message to tell us that we could anticipate our arrival because the accommodation was ready! Perfect… not to mention the bath towels for the shower … and the hot tub! We really enjoyed this relaxation area after a busy day! A place we would recommend without hesitation! Thank you Mark …

Vincenzo and his family were wonderful hosts - they were easy to communicate with, helpful when we had questions, and friendly. Vincenzo's parents greeted us at arrival, helped us get settled, and left us with a few delicious homemade foods to enjoy! Highly recommend if visiting this gorgeous Sicilian city.

We absolutely loved our stay at Federica's home ❣️ It is actually small house you have to yourself, with amazing terrace, lovely and big bedroom with balcony and sooo comfortable bed with lots of pillows, sufficient kichen where is possible to cook almost everything as there is a stove and small oven as well, big fridge and freezer 👍 and dining room with big table and couch to crash on while watching TV 😉 Location is absolutely perfect, few mins walk to the beach, bus stop around a corner with perfect connection to Catania, Noto, Syracuse and more, exquisite butcher on the corner is a must as well as tiny bakery and fishmonger around a corner ☝️ There is a pizza place next door with excellent pizza and very nice seating setting right outside your door, open late, so if you are light sleeper as me, bring your earplugs and you will be fine 😉 Last, but not least, Federica is such a darling, very friendly, helpful and kind host and beautiful person ❤️ Absolutely recommended ❤️

If you want to explore the south east of Sicily like Ragusa, Syracuse, Noto etc.this is the right appartement to rent. Its a former olive oil mill and a large place. The appartement is very well equiped. Everything is there. It’s a quiet place where you can relax. Andrea is very easy to communicate with and helpfull. Next time when we are in the area we will rent it again.

Roberto’s place was beautiful, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and a nice terrace with a magnificent view. The caretaker Lucky, and his wife were so nice and helpful, they even brought us fresh eggs. When we arrived we also had water, coffee, fruits etc. in the kitchen for us which was great since we hadn’t had time to go to the grocery yet. We really felt like home. The location is also perfect, very short drive to the beautiful town of Noto and not too far from Syracuse or Catania. Whenever I needed information, Roberto was very quick to respond and Lucky and his wife were close by to help anytime. I really recommend this place and I would go back with pleasure.

Giuseppe welcomed us and clearly explained how the apartment works. Easily reachable and available. He was also present during checkout. Apartment to be recommended for a vacation close to Palermo. Secure parking appreciated.

Super cute and charming little apartment, with everything you need for a stay in Céfalu. Francesco was a very nice host who gave us super many good tips for restaurants and the surrounding area. He was always reachable. We had to extend one night right away because we thought it was so nice. Absolutely recommended!

Just book it - you won’t be disappointed! Marta’s place is truly paradise. The view is not to be believed. We cooked several meals the kitchen is well equipped. The bedding is super comfortable. Be ready for stairs - but ALL of Taormina is stairs, so to be expected. Just wonderful!

Our stay was lovely. Apartment has good facilities and it was quiet there. Salvatore is a friendly ghost. Definitely recommend.

Had a lovely stay in Capaci! Michaela and Dario were super helpful hosts. The place is large, two separate bedrooms and a large, comfy couch. Kitchen is very well stocked. Fantastic sunset views from the balcony. The beach is near, so is the train which makes it super convenient. We rented a car to explore other parts of the island, the parking spot came in handy. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Stay from August 28 to September 6, 2024. Beach of very small pebbles 50 meters away, crystal clear water, in the town of Canneto. Very comfortable apartment, a bathroom with shower, and a laundry room with sink and shower. Double bed in a mezzanine with a few steps to climb , then another 3 beds. Bernard is very present, assisted by Giovanni always available for every request, so for any problem he resolves everything immediately. Then sorry for little, but leaving the house with a costume and going directly to the sea is priceless. Beautiful vacation we will be back. Thank you Bernard

We were very pleased. The apartment is very tastefully furnished. The sunrise on the terrace and the view a dream. Angelo took care of himself quickly and well and also arranged a very friendly driver for the transfer to and from the airport. There is also a lot going on at night in Europaplatz in front of the house, but thanks to the height of the apartment this is not disturbing. The public transport connection is good thanks to the train station "Europa" and AMTS buses (which, however, from time to time before arriving at the stop - although announced - disappear and you have to wait much longer). Also a metro station is near. So you don't have to rent a car to get to know Catania. We are happy to pass on a tip from the nice transfer driver. Pasticceria Verlora & Bonvegna, Via Asiago 60 (so very close). Be sure to go: A tartlet of enjoyment paradise!

We stayed with Salvatore for 4 nights together. The bedrooms are very large, the mattresses were very good. The kitchen is very well equipped. The outdoor area is beautifully designed, the beach access is great. A real little oasis at the end of the promenade in the very bustling Giardini Naxos. The garden with sea views is great, from one corner you can even see Mount Etna. Also from the beach. Sunbeds are provided. The apartment was sparkling clean. Everything necessary for a relaxed stay was available. Salvatore is a great host, check-in and check-out were completely hassle-free and oriented to our needs. He was also always available for questions. There were free parking spaces very close by. We would definitely book with Slavatore again.

Leti was responsive and efficient from the moment we booked our stay. She organised a taxi from the airport and he was waiting for us. We had a couple of questions and she replied promptly. The view was wonderful and encompassed the whole of the bay and there was always something to see/going on. It could get a little noisy at night as the locals dined out exceptionally late -the restaurant was still receiving guests at 11pm! Thank you Leti

Guiseppe's place was a beautiful apartment situated in a fantastic, authentic Mercado Baralla neighbourhood teaming with life and a great barrio attitude. We loved it. We had breakfast in a local cafe and pizza in a small square. Truly charming and people great. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved this place! Myself and five friends stayed for two nights and it was great. Spacious bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, which were great for our party. Prime location to the heart of Palermo as well. Definitely recommend!

Robertos condo is very nice and the view from balcony to beach and ocean is like painting. Aparment was clean and lots of glasses and other kitchen stuff. No problem to fit 4 adults and 4 kids. Strong recommendation if you are looking for silent place on beach to spend your holiday.

The place is really beautiful. At the beginning there was everything you need and many more small things (even a welcome sparkling wine & wine). We felt right at home and the Wi-Fi is perfect for working from abroad. We can recommend the place to anyone considering working remotely while enjoying a great view and a huge roof terrace 😉 Thank you for everything! We will be happy to come back.
